Welcome to my Lemon Orange Diary sponsored by Green House Seeds. Day 57-64 Week 9 She grew very well. Really healthy through pre flower & very happy to be high stressed. Kept up with Atami Bloom Stim until mid wk 9. And then I started pushing PK booster from plagron and made sure silica boost was given for the stress. Which helped the nodes not break as I HST'ed after pre flower, so there was no growth in the nodes to spring them back up. So the stems walls needed to be strong. And they were. Some naturally did rise towards the light. But not enough to point to rapid but stiffness back into the nodes upward growth, so it's important to have strong membrane walls. After pre fower was over, I cleaned her up also. Took 70% of everything, (defoliation that was done over 3 days.)The other 30% was removed during ripening as it had loads of (hat leafs) leafs surrounding the tops of the main buds blocking light to buds below. Plant has moved great through pre flowering. Very uneven nodes. And where the rest of where my plants where I needed this smaller. So early into week 9 I lollipopped were I knew the HST bend be everywhere below it was stripped. 90% of the nodes where HST'ed. Maintenance Summary 1:Start of wk 9.i lollipopped her, Everything below the planned HST points was removed 2:Defoliations were done in 3 stages. Removing big fan leafs once pre fower was over..I left more than I normally would as HST was in the same wk so I didn't wanna stress too much 3: HST'ed was applied and to make sure she kept a level canopy her nodes were tied down. 4: made sure the soil didn't dry up and was given silica to protect the nodes main membrane as the nodes would be moving for a wk r 2 until it stiffened during fattening. Thanks to my sponsor from Green House Seeds for this amazing strain. Looking forward to seen what other gems I get from my other GHS strains for this crop. Sorry for delays in diaries. I'm trying to catch up. All sponsored diaries are my priority. Thank you for your patience (sponsors)

I add a half of teaspoon of Epsom salt with every feeding because its straight coco except on days I feed plain water. I do this from beginning of veg up until the last week before harvest when I flush

So one thing about this strain that was kind of a bummer was the smells were literally all over the place in a great way. Sour gummies worms from the keef, diesle/gas from the leaves, and lemon hard candy/carrots/dab carts from the buds but when smoked it, the floral taste was so rounded that the other smells never came thru except the purple one that had tight smaller buds, had a lemony taste still. (Remember had to cut early from braking). On the other hand, the way this plant grew had me in a state of personal amazement. I was actully super excited telling my friends that it got TOO BIG for the branches. Buds stacked perfectly on every plant. The topping and recover time went smooth. She shaped nicely right before flower. And back to my negative statement that I had..... the smells were INCREDIBLE!!! I recommend it to everyone soly for the smells.

pH was important as expected and a bit of light burn later on in the grow but ultimately it was pretty smooth sailing. I used a very common nutrient (GHE) and not overly strong. Buds were thick, dense, and moderately pine smelling. The plant did not grow excessively tall thanks to LST, and the LST did not seem to have any ill effects at all. Foliage was thick, and I let it go for a very long time before doing any sort of defoliation. Even then it was modest and just to get light to the lower colas. Still in trimming mode and will continue to update :) Also, other plants in the house got spider mites. Not this one. Could have been that it was in hydro and others weren't but hard to say.

So this is the time where after week 3 my account required a password change and I couldnt open the email to change it for over a month. Luckily my brother took this and sent it to me. Ignore the crocks lol. But at this time I tried mainlining like before but had two plants tops break off. This was on NOVEMBER 5TH so 30 days from seed. At this time the stalks were so thick already it made it hard to work with. I think its cus the strains were different or the magnets lol not sure. Also I transplanted the one buy the door late. I had to buy more dirt. It was rough then came back. So it breaking and looking rough I slacked on the training. Just keeping it for hopefully an oz.

They were all very slow to start compared to all the other strains I grew and seemed to dislike everything I was doing. Real problem children.... They were runty until about the last 2 weeks of their lives, then really packed it on and ripened quickly. I was really surprised they weighed as well as they did, but they all really fattened up with I added the other QB, bringing the total wattage to 360w in the 5 sq ft space. Didn't keep separate weights, but the total was 168g...roughly 40g's per plant. Final thoughts: Of the 6 DD's I've grown over the past couple of years, they are consistently a pain in my ass, and poor-producers.. but it's top-shelf bud. It's prolly the wife's favorite flavor, so I gotta grow a little every season... Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 9/10 Potency: 8/10 Yield: 6/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Ease of growing: 3/10
