I'm watering at sundown so that the water will have some time to soak down into the soil before the heat evaporates it. The coating of straw that I previously spread over the soil has helped a lot as well. 6/22- The weather continues to relentlessly bake everything outside... many thanks for a good A/C!❄️ The daily watering continues and I also went ahead and removed a bunch of foliage that was below the trellis net. 6/24- Today I top dressed the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF with 2 cups each of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with 1 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish 7-7-2 and 1/2g of Wiggle Worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 5g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. There goes another week for the Wedding Cheesecake FF and it won't be long before she begins to show signs of pre-flowering! Welcome to the start of week 5!! These ladies are really taking me by surprise with the growth they are getting !! I'm getting really excited to start training these ladies to make myself a kick ass canopy ! I will be topping shortly after they finish the node they are working on now and from there the training will begin. They got slightly over watered when I transplanted them an so the base leaves got minor discolouration but that's ok they are happy , strong and thriving ! With great joy I will start my second season growing cannabis. I hope to learn from some small mistakes from the first season where I was surprised by my performance as a first-time sailor cultivating the BlueDream strain. This season I left the 4 seeds of GorillaGlue 36hrs in a pot of water to break the dormancy. After that I used the napkin technique for more 42 hrs. So I put each one in a 5-gallon airpot, as they are automatic and go to harvest in the same pot. After 24hrs in the vase the first 2 little leaves came out. I made a homemade dome with a 2-gallon water bottle, cutting it into strips and lining it with plastic with some holes to keep the humidity high during this initial phase. We entered the first week of cultivation and unfortunately due to an oversight I got confused in the fertilizer table and clearly the dreaded overfert happened. I did a watering only with water to try to remove the excess fertilizer let's hope it works.

Welcome to week 4 of flower for this lovely project! I anticipate that things will slow down in the manner of stretching this week and the plants will start focusing on flower growth. I don't think the plants are too affected by the slight mishap of last week ( timer failure ) but only time will tell. Some of the plants are starting to put out a nice nose while others are really subtle still. Over all very excited to see what's going to happen this week! Fuel D.og#2 started to yellow up abit, not to sure why but where going to try and address this issue. Day#24F Pictures N/A. Ladies continue to stretch along and stack them flower sites. Trichomes are starting to stack up really early on these girls. Day#25F The ladies are growing along nicely, adding weight to them flowers daily! The nose coming off them is starting to get stronger and stronger now! Day#26F Pictures N/A. Ladies are almost done their stretching, some have started to slow down now. Won't be long till we look at installing nets. Day#27F Ladies are starting to put on some serious mass now. I hope that we get some nice colourful flowers! Day#28F Pictures N/A. The nose on Kings Juice is INSANE!!!!!!! I absolutely can't get enough. Plants continue to put on mass. Recap: We move the ladies into the bigger tent ( still same growing space 4x4 just in a different tent set up a different way ) and we will be looking to install the nets too to help support these lovely flowers. Over all things went really well this week and we are looking forward to seeing what next week will bring!

28/11/2022 - Inizio della seconda settimana, ho preparato una soluzione abbastanza tenera partendo da una base osmotica, dato circa 0,5l per pianta appena accese le luci. 30/11/2022 - Eseguito topping su tutte le piante, forse un piccolo azzardo sua Cookie Kush che era rimasta un pochino indietro. Vediamo come va! 01/12/2022 - Le piante sembrano aver reagito bene al topping, oggi ho dato un "abbondante" irrigata a tutte le piante, circa 1 litro per vaso e un pò meno nei tre vasi più piccoli.

Last week of flowering then switching to 12/12 light cycle. Put the other plant into a bigger pot. Roots looking healthy and plants are still loving the nutrients.

The Apple Cup hermied this week along with the Baker's Dozen. Fortunately Tropicanna Poison is flowering so fast that it seems to be unbothered by the hermies next to it. The hermied plants will be stunted as more energy will be focused on developing pollen/seeds. Also I'll have to chop them down early before any seeds begin to solidify within the buds. It's ideal to immediately remove any hermies as soon as pollen sacs are spotted. Unfortunately I only have my small closet space so I decided to leave them and observe the growth of hermies.

The moment we have all been waiting for... the summer outdoor flowering photos... enjoy :) These are already in their third week of flowering by now. Started the season off with a difficult start... I put them outdoors while the says were still too short. The plants all started to follower, but then as the solstice approached they all converted back into veg and grew like crazy. I was sure my entire grow was fukd... Now we are well into August which is solid flowering for Ontario growers in zone 5.

Temps were hard to control this week due to a heat wave and the fact I'm in a basement with no AC. I put the fans in the tent on too high a setting pointed right at the plants and they ended up with some wind stress which can be seen in the pics affecting the new growth. Bought a 6 inch inline fan to beef up the exhaust for the tent and this seems to have helped a lot. I moved the tent to its final location to allow access to ventilation so I can pipe the smell outside when the flowering starts. I started low stress training on both plants this week. I decided not to top either plant but I will for the next grow to see how it affects yields. I also fixed the other viovsun tent that had a broken zipper track and only one slider. Hopefully I can use it in the future for flowering photoperiod plants.
