F week 7. I had nutrient lockout and ph started to swing down. I wasn't mixed my nutes right. I should have kept more break between adding the nutes and let it blend in peace.I lost some days because of that. Now everything should be under the control. The plant smells really strong. Cola nuggets are really hard but the trichomes are still mainly transparent.

To me it looks like ready for harvest even thow I still have new pistils on main cola. I will flush one last time today. I will let the earth dry out and as soon as the leaves start to drop I will put into darkness for 48 hours and harvest. I think its good to give the plant a more natural rhythm as soon as you start flushing at least I have the feeling that it smells stronger now.

Week 25, and it is a photo finish. I was able to flush for 12 days, just under 2 weeks. Close enough for me. It has been raining and 90% RH almost every day. I had to pull the plug on 3 out of 4 plants. So on Oct 4th, day 189, I have 3 plants hanging in the garage. I am using a dehumidifier to keep the RH at around 55%, with several fans for airflow. I am aiming for a 7 to 10 day dry, but it is a little warm in the garage (22'F or 72'F). The 4th plant (the runt) is still not ready. It is about a week behind the other plants, but the buds look fat and frosty. This is the home stretch, the last 6 months have all come down to this next week. Saying a prayer to the Canna Gods.

Today is day 36. I had to tie up some branch’s this morning. The colas have been slowly leaning in every direction, and I wanted to get them back standing straight in the light.i will flush her for a few days seems last batch of nutes burned her a little. I also believe there is to much nitrogen in her roots as some leaves have started to yellow up top. This is just my opinion from what I have been reading. I know Leaves will yellow during flowering, but from my understanding it is usually is the lower leaves. Any feed back would be appreciated.

The plant in the front is showing some sort of stress symptoms. All corners of all leaves are bend upwards. Generally also very interesting to see how different the phenotypes are of the two seeds. I have been feeding as recommended but havent been able to check the EC of the runoff as my meter hasnt arrived yet. So might be to do with the nutrients, maybe light or heat stress. As it is summer right now the temperatures have been quite challenging high

------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome back to the HydroLab, where plants have officially accepted photosynthesis as their full-time occupation — and where the scientist (me) crawls around with zip ties, Big Bud, and a brand-new toy. 🌿⚗️ 🔬 Status Report – The Ladies Are Entering Bloom for Real Flower Week 2 is almost done, and the lab confirms: Bud Blood has done its job beautifully. Tiny white explosions of pistils are popping up everywhere. I did a light defoliation earlier this week — but the SLH swallowed that effort instantly. Seriously, this strain grows back faster than a comment section on a hydroponics forum. 🌿 A Major Haircut Incoming By the end of next week, we begin what I call “Operation Full Cleanup”: Extreme lollipopping under the first net Heavy cleanup between the two nets Canopy thinning on top (anything that doesn’t get light → gone) Improve airflow Redirect all energy into bud production Think of it as a botanical beauty salon — just with more scissors and less small talk. ⚙️ System Parameters – Lab Values EC: steady at 1.5 pH: 5.8–6.0 Solution temperature: 19°C (chiller doing god’s work) Room temp: 25°C Humidity: 58–60% (great VPD for end-of-stretch) Nutrients: Bud Blood finished Big Bud started today Defoliation: light — main session coming up Under-canopy structure: wide open, strong, and well-ventilated Overall: Growth, color, stretch, and bud formation → absolutely on point. New Gadget in the Lab Yes… it happened: I bought myself a bud microscope. From now on: No trichome shall escape analysis. Expect extremely detailed updates in the coming weeks. 🌸 Visual Observation – Flower Formation Week 2 Long white SLH pistils everywhere First hints of lemon aroma Budsites evenly spread across the entire net Stretch slowing down Second net working perfectly as a support frame 🔍 Lab Note of the Week “The plants are growing like they’ve had three espressos. Buds are forming nicely, vigor is excellent, and my water chiller is probably under less stress than I am.” 🔮 Coming Up in Week 3 The big defoliation session Continue running EC 1.5 Scale up Big Bud Slightly increase light intensity Keep the lower zone clean Microscope shots + canopy videos Bud formation ramping up The stage is set — things are about to get exciting.

Sweet bourbon kush is ready to start growing. She is looking good under the SE3000 so far. It is a small potter grow in coco. So curious to see how she does. Nothing else to report at the moment.
