Beginning of week... Just trying to keep her happy till harvest.. The runoff pH keeps coming out at 6.5 pH when I'm mixing my nutes at 6.0 - 5.8 pH.. So today I watered (no nutes) at 5.6 and it came out at 6.3.. Lol.. Finally.. Took like a whole week to get it down that much.. But I guess we shall see tomorrow if it stays down. Not seeing any issues other that the heat really... Next day.. Mixed nutes at 6.0 today and the runoff came out at 6.5 again 🤷🤷🤷... Story of my life. Gonna keep trying I guess.. Can't water with too low of pH.. Mid week.. Damn pH man.. Yesterday I watered at 5.5 (on accident.. Didnt mean to bring it down that low.. But I said fuck it and went with it).. Runoff came out at 6.3.. Ok.. so maybe I'll water today at 5.8 pH and just slowly bring it back up to 6.2 or 6.3.. That range.. But today, going in at 5.8.. The runoff still came out at 6.5.. I give up.. Just gonna wing it till harvest.. The heat has also destroyed the leaves a bit.. All the top fan leaves feel like shit.. Crispy as all fuck.. Taco'd.. Ugh.. I'm pretty sure she has some light burn in all of this too.. Buds are still goin strong tho.. Hell, these colas don't even need to swell much.. I'm happy with the size of them already! This new light is just taking some time for me to dial it all in.. Right now it's at about 50% power, 12 inches above the canopy. It was running at 75%.. I'm returning my LUX meter because it's reading ALOT lower numbers than what I'm seeing on GrowWeedEasy dot com.. Gonna order the one she uses.. But damn these are gonna be some fat colas when this girlie is done.. One more week of feeding after this week and then I'm gonna pull out the FloraKleen! Can't wait to get this girl hung and start a new project! End of week.. Runoff pH is still a little screwy.. Light burn isn't TOO too bad.. But it is a little bad.. And the heat stress.. Ugh.. But I got a new LUX Meter and it should help me get things dialed in with this light.. But even after those 3 fucked up things.. She is still producing some super fat and very sweet colas.. Jeez.. Incredible... On to the next...

73 Day 10 Weeks to Harvest

This strain is currently satisfying us greatly, in fact the mainlined one is the best for now without a doubt, its name is King Louis Automatic. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the indicated techniques and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. This plant has started flowering after a Main Lining that was a success in a Masterful way thanks to a good grower and a fantastic plant with a wide internodal distance: topping at the second internode, creation of the Mainfold, the brunches have stretched naturally and parallel to the ground with just a little pressure, no sign of breakage, fraying of the hemp, nothing. Everything very graceful, aligned and in rhythm. Truly everything is in its place, fingers crossed we will be able to see a mega result. Now that V started, both ladies have began flush. Nemo actually started early last week since (20 ml heavy 16 finish and 1 gallon of RO watrr per feed). Nemo on left, a little less directly under the light is more developed, both bud structurely and trichome color (clear transitioning to cloudy or milky trichs more each day). V on the right side is much less finished, being a more haze influenced pheno. it seem lankier and slower to finish, however severe light stress from being grown up to close to light has bleached maybe 6-10 tops of the 15 tops on v. nemo will be done sometime later this week or early next week. Going to harvest the tops entire plant on nemo, then rewaeave V back thru the scrog to allow greater distance to light and better airflow for it to fill in a little more and finish up over next 2 weeks or so. will be closely monitoring bud sites in top colas to harvest when trichomes are almost fully milky white, just before amber.

July 6: looking good stating week 11. Nice response to the last round of topping to form a 16 cola manifold. After a couple more days of growth I’ll do another scrog layer to open it up further to the sun. So far so good. 👍 July 7: added scrog net. This is tied to half filled water bottles that can move if the plant catches some wind. Main reason at this growth stage is to help expose the growth tips and to hold down the fan leaves. Basically, I’m doing this instead of tomato cages because cannabis plants are tough and a net is better than a metal cage. July 8: hot 33 C today. Extra water, misting during peak sun, and some seaweed extract in the water. Continuing to mist regularly to make up for low humidity. Plant looks nice and green and vigorous. Growing at more than an inch per day now. July 9; hot again. Misting every few hours and foliar of seaweed extract and potassium silicate to help beat the heat. July 10: hot but this should be the peak day. Re-scrogged using a loose scrog layer. The overnight low here was almost 20 C which is super warm. Started another (third) lazy compost tea. Ingredients in a 5 gallon pail are 4 gallons (16 L) of water, compost, shredded coco coir fibre so bacteria have physical media to grow on, 1 tbsp of seaweed extract and humic acid blend, and 0.8 mL/L of Monster Maxx. About 1.5 tbsp of blackstrap molasses. No pH adjustment yet, and will let stand until end of day to allow some bacterial growth. July 12: made it through the heat wave and she looks great this morning.

Apple Fritter is growing good. She is getting a solution change about every 4 days. It is a gallon change so it is not a big deal when I do all four at once. 03/12/2019 Day 81 The Dr seems to be concentrating in forming buds but I think she's grown some half centimeter, is she going to touch the ceiling? She has to know that is is confined and the sky is not the limit, at least in her condition. Day 82 (04-12-2019) The shoot at the rear left is almost touching the celiling of the grow tent😨 and i keep on tying other shoots and keeping them the farthest from the burning lights (many leaves' tips are scorched, but fortunately it's just the tip and the bud is still far from that hot point. Other leaves that are close to the lights, well, I took scissors and there's no need to speak further. Look the hard work I'm having with this plant height's issue. Goddammit why can't I have a normal grow like everyone? Day 83 just looking the video and the pics is self explanatory. No further comments 😒 Day 84 Ithe tallest shoot has reached the ceiling and seems to try to keep on growing so she needed to start bending at the very top because she wouldn't get past the tent fabric. Regarding EC, I am using a fertigation solution about 1,3 mS/cm and the runoff EC at 1.5 mS/cm. EC has been kept controlled since I raised fertigation volume to 6 L per fertigation event (1/day), unfortunately this solution containing nutrients goes to waste :( Day 85 07/12 I'lllst the tops that get to touch the ceiling and keep observing and acting as needed. I fear she'll stilll keep going up for a while. Fertigations as usual, got runoff EC 650 ppm today (1.3 ms/cm) which I think it's very good of a value. Day 86 (08/12/2019) Following advice I defoliated and even cut some thin and improductive shoots. Removed a lot of foliage and even supercropped a long tall shoot, I want to see how this high stress technique affects her. Because I plan to keep it doing if other shoots decided to continue growing. I wonder why do shoots continue growing vertical after having passed the light's level. Is it the glow coming from the reflective walls perhaps? Many questions. I decided to take down some tall shoots by suspending little weights near the tip, it seems to work more or less fine. Day 87 luckily the HST seems to have worked fine, the shoots are recovering and point upwards again. The main tip is quite unruly, today I supercropped that tip. Runoff EC is 650 ppm, perfect. Day 92 /14-12-2019) I think that despite her exaggerate growth she's managing to thrive fine with some limitations, buds seems going well. Shoots are still growing vertical but supercropping and resistance seems to have hampered her a while, but now I see she engaged on growing some centimeters more :/ Day 93 two days from starting the 14th week, despite the lights and the heat of this season (added to the lights I had to keep the tent door open for there was 32 ºC inside) the Dr is taking it well, I see the buds foxtailing as I expected, and I'm positive this grow will get to a good end. I'll work day by day to achieve that. Regarding fertigation, I gave her a solution half concentrated (relative to the solutions that I had given her the preceding days) because I noticed salt build-up by the EC measurements. I left run off EC at 800 ppm which is still a bit high for my liking but not excessively. For the amount of runoff I collected today, I see she seems to be drinking a little more.

Aug 23: Mimosa Shot is doing fine. More sativa like than I expected bit she is starting to fill in and smells nice. She only has 8 colas because she didnt like the cool spring, but it’s hot here for at least the next 10 days so she will finish strong. Aug 26: just over 30 C today and upping water volume. Doing three waterings of about 3 L each, and spraying down grow bags when they’re in direct sun for too long. Aug 27: hot again reaching 32 C today.

Flushing a bit this week and letting the leaves turn yellow on purpose so I know all the nutrients are used up in the soil. Gonna let it plump up a bit more for maybe another week and let it dry out before I harvest it.

Very nice grow and harvest. FastBuds certainly lived up to its name as she finished in 55 days. Unbelievably dense and fat colas that had packed on the weight due to the Nectar for the Gods nutrients. 0

I’m very pleased with my second grow in soil, I’m still learning getting better every run.

Chopped on day 133 - trichomes look swollen and ready - leaves faded out. Cut this according to the biodynamic moon gardening calendar and the dates did seem to align with the plant aromatics being more noticeable. Very excited to do the smoke report on this one - focusing on 60% humidity @ 60 degrees for 21 days to retain terpenes and quality.
