Sprouted the seed in a damp paper towel and have moved it into soil. Planted it with OregonismXL (a little worried about this as I have only used it for transplants in the past) One other seed with it for a separate, indoor grow.

She has shown herself! Definitely a relief since I was worried about the early use of OregonismXL. Took a little more time to break the soil than her closet-mate, but it’s also very likely I was just inconsistent with my planting depth. Worth mentioning: This plant is my summer outdoor grow, but it will do most of its veg stage indoors. The weather is dookie butt during veg season where I’m at.

Skipped last weeks update since very little had happened. She’s starting to grow a bit faster now though! Nothing changed, just regular watering.

Been a bit since my last update, but here we are! You’ll notice that the plant isn’t all that much bigger, that is because my dumb ass did not feed the poor thing for a few weeks and it stopped growing. In my defense, I never once fed my first couple of grows and they made it all the way through flower with no issues (the weed was really shitty tho), so I thought I’d wait to feed until the transplant. Obviously that was a bad idea. But live and learn, right?? Fed her some Big Grow and she clapped right back. Anyways, the little lass just got her first of two toppings. Second will come in (insert time frame here). Will likely transplant in a week or two. Lastly, she got a change of scenery! Finished harvesting and drying my previous plant so my cute lil 2x2 had some vacancy. (I know, I know, pretty lazy to just copy and paste from my other plant’s diary. Promise I’ll be more creative once I get this girl outside!)

Lordy I forgot to update for awhile so gonna be a bit of a dump from the past several weeks. She’s been doing well and moved outside! Repotted in a 50gal fabric pot with a 50/50 mix of compost and potting soil. Growing fast!

Was gone on vacation for a week, but came back to some modest growth. Had a heat wave while I was away and may have gotten a bit dehydrated during that, but has done fine none the less! First feeding! 150ml of Fox Farm Grow Big in 5gal of water. Also sprayed with some trifecta Crop Control with some neem oil to deal with some cucumber beetles and other lil pests.

Pretty much feeding and spraying every week now. She has gotten so big, much bigger than I excepted! Might have to start worrying about her peaking over the fence. Bushy bitch is as wide as she is tall.

Had a large crack on the main stalk form (pic coming soon), so now she has stakes for support! Not really sure that lack of support is why that crack formed, but the stakes give me peace of mind. Still looks really healthy and growing fast!

She’s in flower now! Will post pics of the lil flower pistils on my next update. Plant is tall enough that I have to worry about light pollution from the other side of the fence. Half of the plant is further into flower because of this. Will have to start tarping it when the sun goes down.

Good lord I can smell this thing from about 10ft away. I can only imagine how much of a stinker it’s going to be when those buds really start forming! Did some final defoliation, heavily focused on removing internal branches and generally low bud spots that weren’t going to much sun. Switched over to bloom feed, still going pretty heavy.

Had to up my light pollution blocking. The one tarp wasn’t covering all the light (and honestly was just more transparent than I thought). Got the light pollution sources all blocked out now with a better light blocking cover. The light pollution has really slowed the flower on half the plant (see pictures). Hoping that the polluted side isn’t too far behind. Plant still looking healthy otherwise! Smell is getting stronger every week!

Another week in the sun! Buds looking good, starting to bunch up on the light polluted side. Added some Beastie Bloomz, will remain in the feed plan for the next few weeks. Smells good, looking forward to development over the next few weeks!

Still plucking along. Buds a’ fillin’, rains a’ droppin’. Got it covered to keep it dry. Buds looking good and I’m just starting to think about how long it’s going to take me to trim it all.

Had the change up the feeding due to running out of fox farm nutes and the store being out. That’s ok though, because I’m also following the advice of a more experienced grower and will start to pump up the P and K more frequently, without worry, until the last couple weeks of flower. Buds are still getting bigger, stickier, and smellier; you love to see it.

So if you haven’t noticed before, you probably see it now. LOTS of tied up branches. I was not prepared for how much weight management I was going to have to do lol. Granted, this plant is a whole lot bigger than the lil 2x2 tent plants I’m used to. I don’t typically have to worry about weight at all. Either way, it’ll all workout. Just means it was more tedious work and my hands had to get a bit stickier. Next summer I’ll come up with an actual plant to manage weight. Enjoy the video, does a lot better justice to the amount of bud in this thing.

Week 27. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Holy shit, sorry about the delay! Was getting ready to post an update for week 26 only to end up harvesting. With the onset of some powdery mildew and the weather only getting worse, I had to pull the plug. On top of that, had some confusion with drying locations that made me have to harvest a little at a time. Took about a week and ended up drying in 3 different locations. I then got distracted by trimming for a week and a half, being very thorough in order to check closely for mold. Finally, after all of that, I can finally report to you all: Over 1.6lbs! And that’s with losing a couple ounces to mold! There is also a couple of large colas that I gifted to a friend that I need to add into the weight. No wet weight because I didn’t weigh it wet and I don’t really know why I’d want to Will update this post later with smoking notes and pictures once I let it cure for awhile. Some takeaways from this grow: -I need a faster flowering plant for this area. In my defense, I SWEAR MSNL had this strain listed as 6-8 weeks when I bought it. Checked back in mid grow and it said 8-10 weeks -Trim out internal growth more in Veg Had a lot of little branches growing towards the middle that didn’t produce much and were really just in the way when trying to spread things out. -Take care of light pollution earlier. Can’t help but think that this plant could’ve produced more (and less moldy) weed if I had gotten on top of the light pollution as soon as I saw it. -Spray for pests/mold a bit further into flower. I didn’t have a huge pest problem nor was there really that much mold, but both probably could’ve been even less had I not gotten lazy with the spraying -Mid to late flower, don’t be shy with the P and K. Some advice I got from an experienced grower. Don’t have to worry about burn if you’re not adding N.

Nice. You can just lay a loose scrog net over the top to give it some resilience and hold it together.
