She is officially on the 6th week now and here was how week 5 went! It was the most dramatic week so far, really started to fill out now and even the popcorn buds and starting to get some weight too. Now it’s just waiting for her to finish swelling then hopefully we will see her nearly ripened by end of next week! Smells fab! I can understand where the cookie idea comes from, my room smells like I have a warm batch of a variety of biscuits and cookies fresh out the oven cooling off!

At the end of last week, finally flower indicators started to show and these week it went more. Day 32: I sprayed them with Rhizotonic this week. This will be the last week for sprays. I don't like to spray my plants while having buds on it even thought it is organic. Always make sure you spray from below the leafs. They will uptake it better and also spray some above. With the lights off. Did some defoliation again and removed some lower internodes which will be crappy buds anyways. Made a video of my feeding bucket as well, in case some of you wonder how I feed all those plants manually. It is a pump with an gardenhose attached. Thats it for this week, Until next week!

These bids are looking nice and fat, a very nice og Kush smell and vigorous plants, this week we are flushing and i think that somewhere around next week the plants might be ready but of course i will review the tricomes 😁

Should probably start my 2 week flush at the end of this week but I want to harvest this plant and my other one(which is 2.5 weeks behind) at the same time so I'm probably going to try and push the feeding another 2 weeks until I start the final flush, trying to have this stay in flower for 10 weeks, the breeder says flowering period takes 8-10 weeks so I think I'll still be just fine. This week went well, the plants are slowly starting to fade and colors are starting to come out. Gonna follow through with my original plan and continue feeding lightly for the next week or two until I start the final flush. I also raised the lights a bit this week mainly to help and give more light to my second plant that stretched so much its main cola is hitting the grow light, and also to help prevent any foxtailing from occurring.

The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. Hello everyone! Welcome to my Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge diary. 💪 I'm germinating 2 seeds from every of the selected cultivars on paper towels: 👉 Strawberry Cough (Dutch Passion) 👉 Mimozz (Perfect Tree) 👉 Slurricane (Advanced Seeds) 👉 Cherry Atomic Sledgehammer (Welcome To The GrowTent) Did not have much success this time - germination rate was just over 60% - my worst in years. But still - I'll get enough plants for my tent - I always try to sprout 200% of what I really need, for ocasions like this one. 😎 After they germinated I moved sprouts to easy plugs - which is wher they normally start they life (I usually ommit paper towel step and go straight into plugs). First time in years I'm really having problems with germination. The one Slurricane that did germinate seems to have broken growth cone or something - it is no growing at all. Mimozz seems like it wants to die so it probably will... I did drop one more seed just to be sure I have at least 4 plants: 👉 Grandpa's Cookies #6 S1 (ETHOS Genetics) More updates coming soon 👋 Thank you, come again! 😅

Hang dried for 3 weeks in tent. Goal was to be more patient with the dry & start cure hanging on branch in a tent, my dry tent ranges from 58-61RH & 64-69F BUD is curing in grove bags more pictures coming

10/16 So the girls are doing well. They have been watered twice now and #2 is a bit smaller. They are absolutely exploding veg wise and raising the light was necessary as #2 was much to short, will be updating with transplant soon! 10/18 Ok so transplant happened today. They were growing so quick we needed to move them as soon as they were water ready! They got transplanted into 5g fabric style pots. Did 2/3 Fox Farms "ocean forest" and 1/3 perlite mix. Used same nute mix for watering on the transplant, will change that up soon. See pics and video for more info! 10/22 There seems to be a nitrogen lockout. I'm guessing it was the unneeded cal mag add. Learned our lesson! Upped our grow big and giving the first water in big pots. Other than that they are growing amazing!

A lot going on this week!! Feeding 3 quarts every Sunday and Wednesday at this point. I did a light defoliation on Monday and did a more thorough defoliation on Friday! I opened up a lot of bud sights and it shows in the pics from late in the week!! I just turned the fan and carbon filter on. Temps are currently holding at 73-74F and the humidity is between 43-45%. I'm very happy with that! I hope to keep them both happy!! Enjoy!

Swapped the plants this week as I realized I could use the 200w light to cover both the smaller plant and the lower canopy of the larger one more effectively. Hopefully this will allow sufficient light to cover more of the plants, as the lower canopy of the larger plant was 30 inches from the light! Now since I can lower the bigger light to accommodate the shorter plant, I can cover the left side of the bigger one, lowering the light to 23 inches, which is definitely better. The buds don't seem to be filling in quite as quickly this time but they are definitely making progress! I am guessing about another month, but who knows? I'm going to let them take their time and let me know when they're ready. Other than that was a pretty uneventful week, as I'm kind of coming into the final stretch I have stopped the lst and only trim the leaves that are blocking bud sites. They definitely appear more stressed than they have been, with a lot of bright purple stems connected to the leaves, but to me they look healthy enough to make it to the finish line!
