Sorry I have not updated in some time. A lot of the missed time was me recovering from hand surgery. In this time, I was not able to move plant and tend to them. Then, at the start of the new year, GD was acting horrible. It would allow some updates and then reject others. Luckily it was still allowing harvest updates. The flower has a strawberry berry smell. Strawberry flower is my favorite. It is super frosty, and smells delicious. I did lose half of the canopy during flowering. As it was too close to the fan. Causing it to l wind burned a lot and ate away at the plant as it grew. She did alright for what I could do 1 handed. WEEK 1 - 23/7/2021 - 30/7/2021 My 6th grow! I've managed to finally build a reliable RDWC system. It has been put on hold for nearly a year now. My primary concern is flooding when I'm not around. Another if there is any blackout affecting the water/air pump.  I've had the system on test run for a week now and it has been fantastic. No leak whatsoever! I'm so glad I decided to go with all PVC pipes and bulkheads rather than using vinyl tubing for the waterfall outlet. So far so good! Can't wait to transplant into the system. :) 20/7/2021 - 2 packs  of Harlequin seeds from Weedseedexpress (5 + 1), 12 seeds soaked in 10ml/L of Nitrozyme for the next 24 hours. 21/7/2021 - All 12 seeds transferred to paper towel and soaked with Nitrozyme and placed in humidity dome. 23/7/2021 - Only 5 out of 12 seeds germinated. But all 12 transplanted to small rockwool cubes, soaked with Nitrozyme mix water then placed in humidity dome. I accidentally cut one of the cotyledon while removing the shell. 27/7/2021 - 1L of water mixed with the following: Rapid start - 1ml/gal - 0.3ml Hydroguard - 2ml/gal - 0.5ml 30/7/2021 - It has been a slow start and the seedlings have been showing signs of nutrient burn. Out of 12 seeds only 4 properly germinated and even that is showing issues. I don't have a good feeling about these seed genetics. I'll give another week to see the growth response.

All going well now, just lowered my setup by 35cm to gain more space for the ladies... also now my reservoir is below the cabin instead of inside, so much cooler water now (in fact I had to pace a heater to avoid temperature below 18˚C)

🗓️ Week 6 complete – 2nd week of flowering The second week of bloom is in the books – so far, nothing unusual or problematic. Seriotica continues to grow healthy and evenly alongside the others 🌸 I’m currently feeding at least 50% of the AN schedule, but since they’re clearly taking it well, I’ll increase to 75% next watering. 💧 Watering setup: 6L per plant every 3 days Input EC: 1.3 Drain EC – Seriotica: 0.92 They're taking up nutrients nicely – no signs of deficiencies at this stage. 📏 Height – Seriotica: 60 cm Stretch seems to be settling down gradually – everything looks under control 👍

I have been using LST in the form of a fan on medium speed to try and strengthen the main stalk of the plant as well as planter rotation to strengthen the main stalk for tie down LST. So far I've been impressed with the rate of growth and the overall experiment. For what it's worth, the growth wth is very very similar to a hydroponics growth. I'm sure as the experiment continues I'll notice some big differences. It does appear to have either a minor potassium deficiency or a little too much nitrogen. Will monitor and update as needed. The above signs may have been trying to indicate the main stalk was weakening from too much weight from vertical grow rate. This would ultimately lead to a fractured stalk. Is this what happened or is it a fungus or disease problem? Plant C sprouted within 48hrs and will be 6 days behind Plant A. End goal of harvest is still 360g from the two plants combined. Both plants are looking very happy regardless of the toxicity or deficiency. Strong strain nonetheless.

Journal de culture - Semaine 3 de croissance La plante a bien repris sa vigueur cette semaine, développant une belle masse racinaire, ce qui est très encourageant. Elle continue de se développer et je m’efforce de la maintenir la plus basse possible en utilisant des techniques de Low Stress Training. J’ai essayé le pinching, qui consiste à pincer légèrement les extrémités des branches pour les courber. Cela permet de rediriger les hormones de croissance vers les parties inférieures, ce qui maximise le développement des pousses. J’ai également effectué une légère défoliation en enlevant quelques grandes feuilles superflues. Pour le reste, je surveille principalement le pH. J’essaie de le maintenir autour de 5.8, mais avec les tampons présents dans les produits Terra Aquatica, il remonte régulièrement à 6.2. Je me demande si ce pH légèrement élevé pourrait être à l’origine d’un problème de coloration des feuilles, car la plante semble présenter une légère carence malgré la présence de tous les nutriments nécessaires. Je fais attention à ne pas ajouter trop d’acide afin de ne pas surcharger la solution nutritive. Globalement, la plante est en bonne santé et continue de bien évoluer. Je pense passer en floraison d’ici une ou deux semaines maximum. Étant donné qu’il s’agit d’une variété Jack Herer, qui a tendance à beaucoup s’étirer en floraison, je préfère la maintenir encore un peu en croissance pour travailler tranquillement avec les techniques de Low Stress Training et la défoliation. On verra son évolution la semaine prochaine ! 🇺🇸 Grow Diary - Week 3 of Veg The plant has regained its vigor this week, developing a strong root mass, which is great. It keeps growing, and I’m trying to keep it as low as possible using Low Stress Training techniques. I’ve been trying pinching, which involves lightly pinching the tips of the branches to bend them. This redirects the growth hormones to the lower parts, maximizing the development of new shoots. I’ve also done a bit of light defoliation by removing some large, unnecessary leaves. Other than that, I’m mainly monitoring the pH. I’m trying to keep it as close to 5.8 as possible, but the buffers in the Terra Aquatica products keep raising it to 6.2. I’m wondering if this slightly higher pH might be causing some discoloration on the leaves—it feels like a deficiency, even though all the necessary nutrients are present. I’m cautious about adding too much acid to avoid overloading the nutrient solution. Overall, the plant is healthy and continues to grow well. I’m thinking about switching to flowering in a week or two at most. Since this is a Jack Herer strain, which tends to stretch a lot during flowering, I want to keep it in veg a bit longer while working with Low Stress Training and defoliation. We’ll see how it evolves next week! 🤘😎🤘

For my first trial run with Grand Cru Genetics, I’m definitely impressed. This strain shows great potential for flavor lovers and will be interesting to run again in the future. With a little more care and training, she could have achieved more, but she stood in the far corner of the tent and was difficult to reach. Drying takes place in our Dryomat; delivery of the Dryrocket has been delayed. According to my information, it will not arrive until October...perfect for winter growing. Photos are wet buds. Week 9 Hi everyone 😁 I am very pleased how girls are developing in recent days. Aroma is very fruity and a bit gasy. Sort of riped mango / pineapple. They are so frosty alraady and buds are developing very well. Was little bit worried that last week defoliation may stunt girls too much but really this strain showing no signs of any stress. The way things are looking these girls may be ready for harvest in about 2 weeks😁 Will keep updating progress of this week every couple days. Have a great week everyone 🍀✌️ 18/09 Day 57 Started watering with approx. of 2.5 ltr of solution until runoff per pot and this should last for 2 days. Girls like this magic mixture very much 😁 21/09 Day 60 Cant belive it's only 2 months since planting seeds. Everything is going well. Thankfully no issues at all. Slow develop girl "Nuna" it's way behind the other 2 girls soon to be ladies "Luna" and "Sweet Mary Jane". but I'm glad that I have kept her as her flowers are small but frosty and she will be perfect for some cannabutter or bubble hash. Other 2 girls as all see they are absolutely gorgeous. Buds are gaining weight and that frost OMG love it. Will get some close up pics of trichomes over the weekend. 23/09 Day 62 Still lots of white pistils and currently trichomes level at 2-5% amber and rest are clear and milky. My personal preference for harvest 60-80% amber so will keep feeding with nutrients for few more days and will keep monitoring trichomes before switching to only water. 24/09 Day 63 End of week 9 Not much work this week. All been going great. Buds are now very sticky and they are smelling very fruity sort of lemony, zesty, apples and mangos. Thank you all for all the support, comments and likes. Day 35 and she is a beauty. She has a nice color and I love her structure. I am going to call it flower this week since she is well into preflower. The system is running great. Haven't had any roots try to grow into the pipe yet. Going to start them on a little maxibloom soon.

6/21 Week 9 Tricones at 50% clear 50% milky She is building so fast we have had to trellis her branches (bamboo and jute) to keep them from snapping even with the SI in her cells. Continuing PK for now hold CocoTek where it is as she is going into her last week of nuets We do not want to start that flush until we are satisfied its time and at the rate she is building it aint today and may not be till the end of the week. We still think this a 300 gram dry plant at least, she seems to be putting on several grams a day of flower so every day is a weeks worth of CBD. 6/23 Pics later Trics at 75% milky 25% clear want more mature before taking away all her nuets Removing PK she is slowing down greatly only waiting on the trics to flush Reduced Lights on to 18 hours Plant and grower 6/24 Reducing lights on to 16 hours Showing off her buds and trics a little 6/25 Light hours were reduced for heat (its hot this week) nothing else. Off during heat of the day. Begin Flush this evening trics are 80+% milky plan on using an agent for the first flush just water thereafter. 6/26 Day 2 of flush no major def yet 6/27 Ok the deficiency fairy showed up last night, seeing mostly CA which does not surprise at all, and Mag. Still she is managing to build a bit of bud.
