after 48 hours of complete darkness (important for seedlings to make sure all plants switch into flower same time), I finally switched my lights to the 12/12 schedule and sent my ladies into the flower.
- This one Phenos super strong
- more than healthy and going well
- Day 3: Foliar spray with APTUS Regulator and APTUS Nutrispray to give them extra micronutrients and give them a little shell for protection.
! always use APTUS Regulator first and mix well with your water before adding any other nutrients for Feeding or Foliar!

I have given the a defoliation at the top and below as in the last week has gone crazy. I have been given most RO water and looks like they can't stop growing.
lower the light to around 600 pfd as the tops of the gorilla glue looked burnt.
I just have a Strawberry gorilla short maybe something that I have done at the beginning or just genetics as the other is double the size.

So I really wish I could say this last week has been all sunshine and rainbows, but it has not.
First well start with the good. Plant FINALLY stopped growing right at the best spot possible. Light is basically maxed out as far as it can go up. I could still do still do few things to maybe get a extra 1-2" but I'll wait and see if I'll need to. As you can see from the photos there is a massive amount of stacking going on with the buds. Words can't describe the excitement I have to see how big they all get and the yeild of the plant as long as I don't have anymore hiccups.
Now the bad... didn't have any run off for a few days so I gave it a solid watering and got lots of run off. Run off that had a ppm of 2500..... almost 1300 ppm above what I put into it.... well fuck. So I gave it a flush tell I I it down to 1700 because I didn't want to keep putting water into it. Next day it had bounced back up to 1900 so did a small flush again and got it down to 1400 ppm. Then yesterday it had jumped back up to 1700 so I decided to change how I water it. Instead of giving it a massive feeding ones a day and having the coco dry out probably more then I should, I'm going to split the quantity in half and start giving it 2 feedings a day. 1 when lights turn on and another a hour before lights turn off. Hopefully I'll still get run off both times so that I can test it. Hopefully I'll get this corrected before next week.

Welcome back to Colorado Gnome Grown. This week the gnomeโs have been busy with the irrigation system. The water is stored in a 5g container and I mix the feed in it and it gets feed every time I water, which is twice a day for 1 minute, or until the plants drip. The plants are setting on a rack so that the water can drain away from the plant and into a tray. The plan is to buy Big Buds the first of the month to keep on hand to finish up in 4 weeks. Cookie Monster is 4in today and Noel is 2in, and both are starting to grow their bud site. Next week I will Top and defoliate for the first time. She has become out of control, buds are way too heavy, a stem fell during the night and the upper cola on that stem has developed mold very quickly. But this isolated incident didn't stop her from producing loads of trichomes everywhere, that are almost 100% milky. A few more days to wait and I'll proceed to harvest ๐

Week 8 deserved a video !!!
The colas / bud sites are fattening up and starting to put on weight. I was concerned with the lower sites but they seem to be producing slowly but surely.
I defoliate large fan leaves and make sure I keep the lower branches tied to the fabric pot to get as much light as they can.
The plant is becoming sticky and the smell is getting more prominent. I turned up the air filter to help with the smell.
Week 9 is approaching and we getting closer and closer to blowing our very first home grown bud!

Everything going great, not to much to report this. Plenty of new bud sites, and some very beautiful tops. Added in just a few inches of fresh fox farms soil to keep roots covered. They feel as they finally stopped stretching so much, so I'm feeling alot better about my taller girls getting too tall.

As you can see these ladies are growing nicely.
They're both at the same height 59cm but one is wider than the other.
Quite nice so far. That's 12cm in one week same as the Royal Gorilla.
Evenly spread canopy, the one that had better shape from the start now has longer colas.
Both are stacking nodes nice and tight.
They have a nice green color to them but you can't really appreciate that in the pictures.
I'm still trying to get a hand of this new phone, I might just go back to the camera. ๐ค
Starting to get a little shine to them, I think this strain will be the first in forming trichomes.
They give off a nice smell but I can't put my finger on it yet.
Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more.
How do they ask for more?
When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water.
I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount.
I start reducing if it takes longer to dry.
That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. ๐
Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand.

Hot and some rainy days which has been great for the growth of the girls. They are flourishing everyday. Responding well to the Grow and CalMag nutrients too.
You can tell that the one I had topped is slightly wider than the untouched one. Might experiment a bit more with the topped one to get more of a lollipop look.
Still have issues with the Japanese Beatles but I've noticed them getting attracted to the flowers in the garden so hopefully they stick to those instead of gnawing on the leaves of the girls.

It's such a frosty plant!!
I will be harvesting them in the next few weeks. I give it more time because it grows under 12 hours of light and not 20 hours like the breeder recommended

The plants are still growing at a good pace. Just finished their 1st week on 12-12. They definitely filled out so we went ahead and did like a 40 % defoliation to help the light get through all those branches. Waiting to see the start of the stretch and some more early signs of preflower. I was short on time or inwould have more up close shots of early signs, I'll edit mid week and update on how they bounced back from the trimming.

Stretch seems to be slowing down by the end of this week.
Another round of MegaWorm and Guano powder spread on the soil this week.
Temperatures and and watering needs are increasing as the light is set to 100% this week. 160W of LED on about a third of a square meter should push these plants to some nice yields.๐

So, this week started off with the plants transplant into the final pot.
10L of All-Mix soil with 2L of added perlite, 50 grams of RQS Easy Boost and 100ml of worm humus.
Day 8: Looking healthy after the transplant, watered with 250ml of 6.1pH water.
Day 9: Looking a little less greener than I would like to and a bit rugged. I guess I overwatered a little bit. But overall itยดs pretty healthy.
The idea now is to be gradually lowering the light to about 50-60cm without stressing the seedling too much.
Day 10: Looking healthy and green. Iยดll watch out for overwatering.
Day 11 to 14: Well, she had some problems with thrips and got some life scars, I found two thrips, once in a day and then another, but I got them fast and they didnยดt leave much damage. Also, I sprayed some Total Explosion to get rid of all thrips.
Watered with regular water and not sure yet if Iยดm doing any training with her, letยดs see.

Just got them potted. Plants are in Shock. Removed Damaged Leaves. after Day 1. New growth is standing up and Praying. Flooding every 3 hours.

had a problem that looked like Cal-Mag issues & overwatering... Was using the tank labels for water marks to tell how much water was in the tank. Discovered that the marks from the factory are wrong. Measured back in exactly 100 Gallons of water and re-nuted the tank.
It didn't solve my issue. So I changed the water flood schedule to see if I was overwatering or underwatering. no response from the plants except it was getting worse.
After trying things for two days, I "Phoned a friend"... and they suggested to turn the lights down to 25%. BAM! after 20 min or so, there was a positive response and lifting of the leaves...
Moral of the story is to start your clones and a lower light setting and gradually bring them up over time.

Both plants are doing very well...
One of the two plants is a week ahead and the buds are very firm and compact...
The smell is sweet and intense.
The stem of the plant is quite thin, I hope the buds won't be so heavy...The reason is I only started fertilizing in the flowering phase
I will now fertilize my plant for another week before I start rinsing

I added a second layer of trellis and everything is looking nice and filled in. I will be defoliating and cleaning up the lowers on 11/9/18 (day 21) for better light penetration. I think everything is pretty much done stretching for the most part now time to start fattening up. Got some samples of Fish Sh!t organic soil conditioner from the local hydro store that claims to increase yield, flavor, and nutrient uptake so I will be adding it in the mix to see if I notice anything different.

Not much to say, we officially have take off. Leaf tucking and LST to expose the bud sites, trying not to take anything off if I can help it. These autos don't cope with much, glad I have my photoperiods in there. Can't wait to see some pretty flowers ;)
Day 42- one of the Stardawg girls has had a huge growth spurt. Added in a 400 watt side light to fatten up any lower buds. 660Watt Hps over the top. Considering adding CO2 and investing in another light.. Maybe LED. Thoughts?
