Real flowering started this week. The stretch just started and the crazy bushiness continues. Did some fairly heavy defoliation on the under canopy and select large leaves blocking light to the bud sights.... but controlling the growth is a balance. Trying to keep as much photosynthesis as possible until I can really tell which bud sites will be the real colas. I did a full reservoir swap with flowering nutrients, and a pH balanced water only flush in between (about 18 hours just running pH 5.9 water). Once I put the new nutrient solution in, the plant just shot up. It was spectacular the difference in literally only half a day. I have noticed that a thin coating of something was on the air line of the bubbler and a couple other surfaces. Cleaned it off before the water flush, but still note a very slight film on the top of the fresh nutrient solution. It's a touch worrying but not sure it's an issue. Will watch carefully.

7/17/25 pistils are coming in nicely. Albeit slowly but she is flowering now.

Grew this outdoor last year but the geno on this seed is definitely preferred. Kind of upset I gave the 1 clone I had away, but live and learn. Plus, I have some FIRE coming down the pipeline on these next few runs. But the structure on these is sick, the nugs are golf balls and dense.

Estuve a punto de quitarla, y está mañana apareció sin su capucha, cotiledones afuera. Yujuuuu!! 26 Octubre: hoy tuvieron su primer riego con nutrientes Athena, 2.0EC y 5.8pH. Se regó hasta alcanzar drenaje, el drenaje fue de 1.9EC y 5.7pH. 27 Octubre: Se desarrollan a buen ritmo, algunas han estirado más que otras, alturas entre 4cm~7cm. 31 Octubre: Segundo riego, 120ml casa una, 2.0EC y 5.8pH, runoff de 2.3EC y 5.7pH. 2 Noviembre: Creciendo a buen ritmo, alturas entre 5cm y 9cm. 4 Noviembre: Riego 180ml cada una, 2.0EC y 5.8pH, runoff 2.8EC y 5.8pH, desde ahora se regarán más seguido, removí las primeras hojas, solo por comodidad para regar, de igual manera los primeros nodos y esas hojas se terminan podando pronto. 8 Noviembre: Riego 2.0EC, 5.8pH, 240ml cada una para aumentar el runoff, valores de runoff de 3.0EC y 6.0pH. Alturas entre 9cm y 14cm.

Last week of veg, starting 12/12 tomorrow as I'm starting to worry about space.. hopefully stretching isn't too much of an issue.. we shall see. I'm still not happy with my defoliation, I've been mostly removing large/damaged leaves and sucker branches off the bottom of the plants. I've been experimenting with the fan and scrog placement, placing one large fan oscillating below the canopy and two clip on fans above the tops and mostly using the scrog as a support for branches during flower as I somewhat failed to actually scrog.. Once again, any advice much appreciated and happy holidaze!

If you’ve followed along you’ll know how well this plant grew. It handled a lot of stress from supercropping, LST, and defoliation. The plant wanted to produce and wasn’t letting me get in the way of that. 7 days dry in my new dry and curing room. First 4 days 70*f and 55% humidity increased to 60 by the final day. I ended up with just over 6 ounces dry weight, well trimmed, and properly weighed. My seedsman Gelat.OG grown at the same time was an 8oz plant and the only one that beat the lemon pie on dry weight. The smell and colors of the lemon pie had me going crazy from early flower til the end. It was an absolute pleasure to grow. This is the second Lemon pie I’ve finished, a friend was running out of room so I finished his plant. He also got close to 6ozs but the smoke was much different and the colors were as well. You will run into very different phenos with fastbuds strains and it makes it difficult to repeat grows, just don’t be upset if my smoke report above isn’t consistent on every plant if you decide to grow it. Both were very enjoyable though… FastBuds has a place in my heart forever and I’d recommend them to anyone looking to grow cannabis at any skill level. They’re just good people over there. Personally I will be taking a new journey with Mephisto next to try and expand my knowledge of other growers, after hearing so many great things it’s time I give them a try. This strain is a really nice strain to grow and if you are a dessert 🍨 person you would love this strain, tho I lost all my main tops to mold nugs was to big and to dense, so lots a ventilation needed for this strain.
