Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. Increase ppm to 685 This week 4/28-5/4 consisted of plain ph 6.6-6.9 water with recharge, calmag and TPS1. 4/24 updated my ACInfinity app and started using the advanced programming settings for early vegetation. This is keeping humidity in 70% with temps in 80. What I don't like is using advanced programming, the humidifier is at level6 . F46 - Uploaded pics. Just trying to make it 9 1/2 weeks. F45 - Fed Jack about 1/3 of weeks nutrients. Other plants don't need anything. Uploaded pics. F44 - Watered all three plants with about 1/2 gallon each of rainwater. F42 - Reba I think is maintaining at this point. I removed some of the larger fan leaves from Reba and Jack. Hi everyone 👊🏻 thanks for checking in 😏, so we have started flowering this week on the bigger tent using the 2 Lumii 720w LEDs, we might or might not run into some hight issues well see… And we have the other 1.2 tent set up for the clones there under 1 Lumii 720w led delivered until I can another one sorted few weeks 🤙🏻 get them under that for a few weeks then get them flowering as well. Keep eyes open for progress 👌🏻

WOW these two beauts are really filling out! No complains from me just wish I LST the SBR like i did the Dinafem but at the time the SBR wasn't as bendy as the Dinafem, it is amazing what one bend can do to help produce more bud sites. I'm sure that one big cola from the SBR is going to very nice looking though! My next photoperiod grow I will prob top, LST and trim, but i need to do some research again because I forgot everything lol 😅. My next grow journal is up! Week Two: The seedlings received their first and second feedings of Innovating Plant Products. Along with one just a plain watering. (Feed / Feed / Water). The first feeding was on 5/21 of 900 ppm of the veg nutrient line. The pH was 6.3 The second feeding was on 5/24 of 700 ppm of the veg nutrient line. The was 6.4 After assessing the first feeding it was felt the PPM was a bit high for their first feeding. We could have easily done this in reverse order. On 5/26 the plants were given just plain water to finish out their week. One of the seedlings appeared to be a bit deformed and has since been tossed. This one seed didn't germinate well, but we thought we would give it go. Assessing the seedling we simply opted to pull it.

Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

In Woche 5 habe ich via LST probiert die Fläche etwas besser auszunutzen und habe dort, wo junge Triebe verdekt sind, einzelne Blätter entfernt. Mittlerweile zeigt sie auch ihr Geschlecht, so das ich diese Woche als 1. Blütewoche zähle.

Fattys are growing and seem to be thirstier.Used foliar spray to help the leaves and also started tucking. When the plant was topped pistils were seen for first time.

07/04/2023 Last week on her, trichomes are looking cloudy. She got neglected a bit during veg and a bunch of stress from electricity outages, where I had to move the plant outside resulting in heat burn (it was around 38 celsius outside) thrips and ruining my scrog, thrips are kinda controlled, and lost a bit of leaves from heatburn, but no biggie. Moreover I diverted my attention to the clones and the other seed that is now a mother plant (see Perpetual KeroseneKrash diary). 14/04/2023 No more light for the next 48 hs and then I'll chopp her

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Die letzte Woche vor der Ernte gibt's nur noch Wasser, CalMag und einen Tropfen SuperVit. Die Buds sind so schwer, dass die Pflanze schon schräg hängt, und der Duft ist einfach mega lecker!😋 The last week before harvest will only involve water, CalMag, and a drop of SuperVit.
