Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. So. Its last day of summer, Royal Cookies made my heading totally ... Thats it, that piece of shit must go. This is my last bean from 5 RQS Royal Cookies, that i tried to grow. End of summer and that plant is nowhere ... I must admit, for last 2 month they got only worm castings or bat guano teas, i tried to understand usage of those products and effects on plants. Royal Gorilla clone, like predicted, ended up really nice plant, Cookie in same pot just didn't grew ... Sad sad sad story I know my last words in video are childish, but so much love given and so much pain received ....

So I harvested the top half of the canopy at day 58 while leaving the bottom half to finish up for another week. Looks like the best yield so far running for my runtz muffin grows. Also dropped the water temp at night to promote colouration of the buds which seems to be working very well.

This week is start of 4th flower week. The plants look good but i need buy some yellow cards. Buds become bigger and start to smell more intense. The lemon haze surprised me, because i germinated her 15 dsys after them other 2 and shes the biggest of them all. Hope, everything will be fine. ✌️ In the middle of the week i took the net away because it seems they stretched finally and they have a good shape now.

Casey's Rollex OG is on the verg of bulking. She is doing really well. The leaves are praying, and she is looking healthy. She is starting to get some resin on the early Cola sites. She is likely due for a solution change this next week. Everything is looking good at the moment. Day 11: We have: 3x White Widow 1x Critical 2x Special Queen #1 1x Special Kush #1 Important: The method used "jiffy" is efficient and fast but in another possible germination I will definitely do the "paper towel" method first. It is important to note that for good germination, the seeds must have as little soil as possible on top, where I delayed by 1 week due to the fact that the seed was very deep in a jiffy. I reduced the distance of the LED from 60cm to 30cm because we still have plants that are stretching too much so this was the measure adopted awaiting results. For 8 pots of 0.5L, 500ml of pure water containing: 1ml Voodoo Juice 1ml Sensi Grow A+B (2ml total) 1ml B52 2ml CalMag The net proportion was satisfactory.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Day 17 Both girls have been progressing nicely. Nice growth. Removed a male tentmate today. Pots are roughly half weight, may need water tomorrow or the day after. Day 18 Gave then both a neem oil top drench. Switched light schedule to take advantage of cooler night temps and lower electric use cost. Just gotta make sure I can prevent light leaks. (12p to 6p) Day 19 Gave both girls a light top fill of CocoLoco to reduce stretch. Great growth this past week.

Day 22: Honestly didn't think I would have made it this far. The girls are looking great minus a couple of issues. I have over watered them and over fed too! Not to mention trying to LST too early. I will wait a bit longer before watering this time. Day 23: MORNING - They were super dry. I have been over watering a bit so I watered maybe 1/2 gallon for all 6. I also did some more LST and took 1 large fan leaf off of each plant. I will update again before lights out. Day 23: NIGHT - The girls are responding very well to the LST. I don't think they are liking the 80°. I am starting to have issues with lower humidity again. I need to try and figure some sort of ducting out or possibly even get a small AC unit for the grow room. Day 24: MORNING - I removed a couple more leaves that were covering potential bud sites. I have also done a partial main-line on the smallest girl. It looks to be already showing pistols. I've had to open the tent with a big fan blowing directly in with the humidifier behind it. The girls were getting hot and dry. Day 24: NIGHT - Well 5 are showing to be female. The biggest plant is showing no signs of sex. I am guessing it will be the mystery seed. I will be doing no more LST to these ladies for at least a week or better. I think I have stressed them out enough the past 2 days. Day 25: These girls are very resilient!! I tortured them all weekend and the one I nopped off to do a sort of mainline grew by 20% at least. Day 26: It is the official 3 week mark today and the girls are starting to flower. I tied em down to get light to all bud sights. I will 100% not touch them unless they need it from this point!!!! They are soo small and I need not stunt them any more!! I have removed the Mystery Seed as it looks to be a male and I do not want to take the chance!! Also fed and watered today. Only 200 ppm for the feed. Day 27: Nothing new to report. These girls are gonna be tiny :| I must've stressed em too much too soon :( Looking good though I think! 💪 Day 28: I never do what I say. Dumb! Broke main stem on one of the best plants. Taking it as a lessons learned. It's been two hours and she looks SICK! Oh well.

This plant is perhaps the best autoflower I grew so far. Despite my limited experience i think the genetic performed exceptionally well. I did basically nothing to it in terms of nutrients or training and it turned out so good. Especially at night the frost is so nice. I harvested the top part, because a lot of amber trichomes were visible already. The lower buds still need at least a week I think. Will keep you posted with the rest of the harvest and a smoke report Happy growing
