Hello Guys, I’m TheStrainAlchemist. This is my first indoor growing after years of guerrilla and outdoor. I’m trying those two beautiful strains from Royal queen Seeds Wedding Gelato and Silent Seeds Critical Mango. Both photoperiod plant, the Critical mango came out with a genetic mutation Whorled phyllotaxy which is an interesting variant where several leaves arise from the same point on the stem, I am so amaze f by this mutation and the plant exploded of stems just in week 3 after a forced topping on the first node, the plant was producing a huge amount of leave at the same point stressing the new grow and curling over the grow point, after the topping she exploded and now she looks gorgeous.

8/25/23 - Day 73 - Another week down. We did a water change today. The buds are getting fatter and WAAAAAAY smellier. I have had a couple of times now where I lost a battle to the Skunk BOSS. I have had to reach in to move some buds around because they are too close to the light on some bud sites. You can see one of the buds up top, it has some white to it, I think that's due to being too close to the light. But once I move the buds around, I smell EXACTLY like a skunk. The smell is crazy strong. It's taking several full showers and it's still all over my fingers. Gloves will be an ABSOLUTE must when just reach in for a second. 8/28/23 - Day 76 - The buds are starting to grow even more, that the buds are growing buds out of them. That sounds weird but it's the only way to describe it. It looks like Romanesco. The buds are getting more dank, fatter, and more crystals are forming. 8/29/23 - Day 77 -I did some trimming today. I push some of the buds down and really got my arms in there today. All of the buds have gained so much mass to them when I squeeze them, they are really dense. I left a time laps video of me doing some late trimming, I was noticing some of the cannabis leaves were taking some of the light from the buds. 8/31/23 - Day 79 - The trichomes are still see-through and crystal clear. Hi all just finished another week having trouble with humidity since fan went marshydro said they out of stock but will send me a new one the minute they have it in which is a month haha 😄 all be harvest by then hopefully god help neighbours that's all I can say haha bought a new dehumidifier off amazon a shit cheap one not even making a difference at all haha so today splashed out a 100 euro for one so hopefully that'll do the job. other than all looking good I think. But actually if someone could tell me will I defoliate more leaves she very bush bit I'm afraid of disturbing flower so im leaf tucking but she is very bushy haha. also im looking at other diarys on this and my plants buds not as big or as far along as many im on 9 weeks on the dot at the moment if anyone with more knowledge please let me know. I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

4/27. Shes long and lanky but happy and strong. Responded well to the topping. I tucked the top nodes underneath the fan leaves in hopes that maybe her other branches will shoot up. If not, ill tie them down in the weeks to come

6/21 Wellllllllll she is still yellowing out like crazy. Very very very hungry girl. Moved the lights down to pull out some purp. I hardly have to defoliate at this point since she is consuming so many of her own leaves. I just carefully pull out the crispy leaves. 6/25 She is still yellowing out and is extremely hungry. Ive been feeding more than the recommended amount and shes still showing deficiencies. If you are growing in coco, i recommend you dont flush this girl. If youre running RO water, definitely dont flush this girl. Shes hungry till finish, no doubt. The trichomes are ridiculous on her. Ridiculous. Ive never seen more frost on a cannabis plant. Ever. She just keeps putting on more and more weight and frost. All of her leaves are sprayed in trichomes. The picture i just uploaded is from today. Although her trichomes are still mostly milky, i think she is nearing the end of her life. I will be uploading more pics tonight and a video to show all the foxtailing she is doing. All of her buds, even the ones down below, have the exact same pyramid-with-crown structure. Beautiful. A+++++ ____PS____ Here she is in all her glory folks. This week was similar to last week. Rain every other day with intense sun. There were no major changes I made. I did slide my pots over a few feet to try to catch more sunlight. Mainly just been on scouting duty making sure there are no questionable bugs hanging around. A few things seem to take a liking to them but leaving them lone for the most part. One thing I noticed with the autos is that they seemed to adapt a whorled phyllotaxy along with the lemon ak that started with 3 from seed. They got their weekly does of boogie brew, but think I will stop feeding after this week.

After 3 failed germinations from growerschoiceseed.com I decided to order from ILGM.com. 2nd time around decided to germinate just 1 seed and it worked out well. Started soaking seed in ph adjusted water 6.5 for 48 hours. Seed showed small cracking so I placed the seed in damp paper towel. Let that sit for another 48 hours then placed in rock wool that I had soaking in ph 6 water for 24 hours. Placed Rockwell in DWC and turned both lights on at 12". She sprouted after 2 days. No nutrient yet.

Week 18 Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙 🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression.
