Day 56 the girls are blocked but it is my fault .. 420Fastbuds FBT2311/Week5 What up grow fam. Sorry for the late weekly update but was having some technical difficulties. This week has been eventful to say the least. My heater went out letting my Temps drop to high 40'f for a night or two and wow did the plants tell me they're angry. Definitely starting to bounce back but just goes to show the reselants of Fastbuds genetics. I lollipoped and did one more defoliation this week so hopefully flower stage will be smooth sailing. 4-2-2021 Now starting 2nd week of flower. Look at her grow would you expect anything less from a Crop King Seeds seed No Way!. She is far behind the others but doing great just the same. So easy so far to grow this strain so not sure what the fuss is all about. I did manage to bend her under the string so technically she is a Scrog. I just did that so to spread her out might get a few more larger buds out of her.😎 Love how she is doing so far. Keeping the PPM'S Steady for now and added some Seaweed stuff for root growth. We will see how she reacts.💪

Top-dressed the pots today and watered in the amendments so they can start breaking down and feeding. Took off a few leaves to open airflow and ease the humidity. The fresh intake is bringing in some muggy air, so conditions are still on the damp side—might be time to pick up a dehumidifier to keep things steady. I’m no expert, but the color looks good so far. Just trying to stay on top of things and give the nutrients time to kick in. Tent is starting to smell a bit dank.

Big textwall incoming homies: Here Im doin some shit i knew from owning low to middle branded smd grow panels* how is that usually they come with both uv , ir, far red even newer quantum boards supplements itself with diverse chips extending their photosynthetic spectrum or making specific accesory bars / modules yet my purporse is rather focus on UV as this 15w bar (advertised as nominal 9 x 3w powered led) with UV-A 390-400nm spectrum – something that trigger some reaction to the plants with some other color son the flowering phase and trying to establish functional a ratio , as a bit of blue green and yellow have specific purposes instead of providing absurd quantities of red light , as there is some lateral cold bulbs in smaller but necessary ratios (as blue spectrum is still required on flowering , yet the original purpose was to complement mid to low branch development) in this shitty set up bonding with the upper bulbs and their colour temperature schema, every light has it's own schedule as how i suppose is a morning to night as something that cause plant resistance response (kinda noticed something i need to stimulate as i see a bit of fox-tailing but now with the uv-a i propose to build resistance and activate defense mechanisms like resin and of course, plant morphology according to its stage making bulkier , tankier , according to outdoor’s atmosphere i want to replicate as optimal weather as well – i hope this hardship make them more resilient and increase their health points as here i’s a HOT GIRL SUMMER- even indoors it rises my base temperature makes smell notorious, but as is not the usual weed smell make it and advantage in terms of discretion Killer Kush presents slight sweet tones not very prominent, the only herbal smell can be associated to pine undermining the refined coffee-like smell that is the dominant note (this selection of kush lack of lemon notes up to this point i can say it’s earthy with a bit of sour & sweetness) . This week we flip, actually, these pics are 2 days into the flip. All going good, its gonna be packed, have to get in the SOG and clear the bottom this week also, added a net to the SOG side to keep the canopy a bit more level. I hear, thats not a real SOG then, the point is, these plants are younger and even with a SOG keeping that canopy level is key. Humidity is always a chore, its something i'm worried about for the flowers so will install an even larger Dehumidifier over the next week or so. Using the spider farmer light control is nice and simple, my auto irrigation is working fine... Onwards and upwards.

First ever harvest! Plant #2 has been covered in trichomes for the last two weeks and with a jeweler's magnifying glass and my camera phone zooming 7x it's clear that many of trichomes have turned amber. I chopped her down last night and have been hanging the branches upside down in a cardboard box with a fan and dehumidifier. I've read I should keep the temperature in the 70s F and the humidity around 50%. I'm doing my best but the garage isn't well insulated so I'm at the mercy of the weather. I'll keep an eye on them and when the branches snap easily I'll get them in jars for curing. Plant #1 still has some time to go. The branches are filling out but to the naked eye there are no trichomes. When I look with the magnifying glass I can see them but I'm concerned that #2 had been coated in them for about two weeks now. Should I just wait? I think I'll just wait

The week went really well and we are starting strong into week 3. The King's Juice Auto #1 is giving me some worries because she's a little bit small. Also, I saw an aphid on her. Never underestimate green light spectrum guys! Speaking of light... I raised the light intensity up to 30% (80W) and will keep doing it like this until I end up with a DLI of 40-45. With 19 hours of light that would be roughly 60-65% of light output. Interesting. From the side view, I think #2 is my favorite but overall it's still #3. Still unsure what kind of training I should do or if at all. Alright, I trained them and tried some different strategies. I topped #3 because she was by far the tallest one anyway, I "lollipopped" #1, so that she hopefully pushes more power into the upper part and I just tucked the fan leaves of #2 under the branches. At least as far as I could. #2 definitely has some lovely growing! She also has the first white hair coming out. Will try to get a photo of that later, hopefully with my new wifi microscope. Should be delivered tomorrow. Wasn't delivered but how she develops, I don't need the microscope. First set of white hairs is clearly visible! I'm exited to see how they continue to develop.
