The past week I've been trying to identify problems with my climate and feeding. Three out of two plants (so also one of the XL Runtz) stay behind with exactly the same problems. I've been ventilating more to get cooler air into the tent. This seems to resolve some of the issues but has cost some development. Reason enough to call off the battle. The playing field was influenced by me as I'm still getting to know 'the rules of engagement' with growing autos indoors. They are way more sensitive to influences than my usual regulars. So I'm using all this info to tune my tent, for climate, and the soil for nutrients. So the next run will be more stable. Still, these strains completely amaze me with how fast they put out these buds. It is almost alien in 6 short weeks up to now. Considering my options for summer. Dealing with temps in a hot attic, or start growing some plants indoors and transfer to outdoor when it gets too hot. The jury is still out on this but the invasion of Ukraine could play a role in this as my government keeps pumping Russian oil and gas for our energy needs and Sunshine and me stand solid in our support for a free Ukraine. I cut another part of the girls, and the total is even greater than the first part! We wait another week for the final sums, but right now the flavor is unique.

Flushing

Trichomes are looking milky and full. Going to give one more light feeding, and then flush em towards the end of the week. G13 has some calyxes that are growing in top of existing bud... possible this one keeps growing for another week, but seems like Banana is ready to go. Is there any downside to getting one gallon sized Mason jars for curing? I've yet to have a successful dry/cure, so really hoping to dial it in this time with the proper climates.

The gutter hoe grow show powered by the viparspectra XS2000 is still in action. The plants are showing that they aren't completely happy with the limited root space they have but they are growing some buds. Crescendo is definitely the most trich coated of the bunch. The big detroit energy is producing some big fat buds. Lowered the temp to 72. Other than that the juice will keep pumping and the lights will keep beaming.

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

Week 8 And now we are here at flower and starting to think this might be a nice smoke she is looking healthy and starting to build your self up. Smells like a mild form of ammi but none the less ammi not long now till harvest now, ill keep you posted

The smell on this lady is absolutely insane. The only way I can describe it is a dank smelling cherry. Trimmed 2 ozs after drying got done and had the whole house smelling. Very impressed with the nose tone and taste of the Cherry Cola and its not even cured yet. Growing this plant has turned me on to the cherry terps and will continue to look for them.

Welcome to my Bubblegum XL diary by royal queen seeds. Thanks to Royal queen seeds for al the goodies, there are some more like lighters and smartpot. As you can see, my bubblegum xl popped out of the soil, and is ready to grow into a beatifull plant. Lets wait for coming weeks development... I added a small update vid. on day 5.

What a great strain...definitely surprised me positively. Thank you Exotic Seeds for the opportunity to work with you trying this awsome plant. It has a steady growth, kinda short and bushy like a lot of plants with strong indica traits Very dense buds, big ones, fat and resinous. With a LOT of productions all-over the plant. So much thricome production it sparkles white. Cutes it yesterday (17/12/2023) altough on my opinion it could have 1 more week. Altough because of the huge problem I had to do it. This grow tent (specially the other plant growing side by side) had a mold issue, bud rot spreading fast. I must have lost about 5 65 grams of wet flower total on the Fat Banana. When I cuted it 🍓 Strawberry Cola weighted 829 grams it has a lot of defoliation done alredy but I'll trim it 100% when dry. This is it, thank you all of you growmies for watching this grow. Hello Growmies, I'm thrilled to update you on the plant's progress! In the last week, she has beautifully filled out the scrog. Just yesterday, I flipped her into the flowering stage. This means I'll slowly increase her feeding, although I don't plan to go too heavy on the nutrients since she seems to prefer a lighter touch. She's quite particular about her nutrients, requiring me to change the reservoir every five days. If I delay, she shows signs of distress on her leaves, but these issues resolve immediately after I refresh the reservoir. While she's stretching in the preflower stage, I'll continue to guide her growth into the empty areas of the scrog screen. The stretch has started. Very manageable since they started flower on the shorter side. Some adjustment to feeding and a good leaf striping mid week. Pheno number 1 has broad leaves and a very tight node spacing compared to the other four. Number 3 has shown to be very vigorous in growth and cloning. Number 2 is the runt and slow but stinks. The others are very similar. The girls got fed after the leaf strip the next day they looked really happy.
