So, this week pretty much just buds fattening. I think there is a problem developing with either pH or phosphorus deficiency. Got a pH test pen on the way so should find out what's going on soon. Leaves staring to look a bit off, but bud growth is solid. Tested pH and it looks good at 6.9 so I'm gonna increase bloom nutes cos it could be phosphorus or magnesium.

Week 3 of Flower we focus on Defoilation. This really is going to test the genetics response to extreme stress. Performed a 5 day Schwazze to minimize stress instead of ripping off most leave in one day. Plant seem to have reacted well so far. This technique has really opened the canopy and expose many bud sites. Preparing for a top feed at start of new week.

The OG Kush has wrapped up week 4 of flower. She got a healthy defoliation to expose bud sites, and is now on track to bulk up. She's been moved to the center of the tent for the rest of the grow. She's recharged and on cruise control from here on out...only removing dead leaves. Starting to smell like a funky citrus fruit. Still pretty light on the nose and trichome production has been minimal.

Hello one and all , happy growing. This week I switched to bloom nutes and the girls have reacted well. The Shogun line up has worked a treat , with no issues since the beginning. There have been a few amputees ,as my mainlining adventures have taken me down the broken-stem-rabbit hole. As many of you know these are resilient creatures and have bounced back but not without a major loss of yield , come harvest. I’m at odds with myself as I find it almost impossible NOT to try LST/HST/ tying down etc. Something has to give and eventually I’ll have to be surgical with my treatment of my beauties. Day 1 of flo, description in OG Kush Diary, I'm really curious about this bush. I think I will taste great from what people told me it'd been really good for making some wax also, I like how I managed that canacopy I know I can do better but it's my first time trying this actually... I'm kinda beating myself up because I wanted a bit longer branching but next time I think I will try doing this with all 4 of my plants just because I like how it looks Day 3: sorry to see that beautiful bushy structure having to come off, I enjoyed looking at it but time to give those bigger buds some space and give the plant some energy to the top so I'm removing all unnecessary small little branching to increase the airflow etc.. I enjoy working on my plants. Day 4: flo so I managed to get rid of most of the bush and alot more of the plant has opened up, I removed mostly smaller branches and let the bigger ones stay just to see how I can further improve this In future and what to look for. I could watch all the videos I want but without a 1st hand experience it's always just a theory , there's always room for improvement every grow in my opinion. 8 Feburary Update: I flushed all 3 with some water and fed 10ml of each a and b + additives they responded very well soon on day 7 I'm planning to start giving them more bloom nutrients after flushing the medium just a little once more so I can really push it and make sure my ppm is high enough without too much salt buildup, for that I will be using cal mag water followed up by final dose of grow a + B with some big bud I'm trying to avoid that saltbuildup at all costs here as this is my first grow in 7 Years here in Germany 🇩🇪😁, btw the water quality here is so much better than in Ireland... I gotta be careful with pests alot living on the bottom floor, thing is a nightmare...

Update week 2 of Bloom

Rainbow melon has stolen my heart From day one the plant was bigger as nice strong stock handles low stress training well some of the biggest buds I’ve ever had. I am truly in love with this plant fade is absolutely one of the Most beautiful like an Indian summer Cannot wait to see what they come up with next💪🔥💯

07/10: Starting to flowering little by litte, both seems to be slower than the no name cheese seed. No problem of mites in those one, starting to have a slight smell of citrus, yum !

Beautiful pair of haze berries, both phenos #1 and #2 showing strong healthy roots and big leafs, can't wait to flower this ladies out, I Transplanted the plants after 17 days of being planted on February 2nd because the roots were super well developed and I considered that it was the right time to do so. So now they are in their new 11l house.

She's doing well this week.
