Into week three of flowering: - Need to up CalMg this week cause all my last grows with this strain the plants were stressing and showing signs of Mg deficiency I think. - The buds are stacking up pretty tight. - The top of the plant is showing some red veins AGAIN, don't know if it is genetics? Or is it too much light? ANY SUGGESTIONS? - Usually what happens is that after week three top of plant will show red veins and some leaves will turn light green yellow. What type of deficiency is this? Thanks in advance for the help. Happy growing, BM 4TwenTee *****Update on LIGHT STRESS:***** Okay I think I got this figured out. Since my plant is showing the following symptoms: - Slow yellowing of top of cannopy - Fan leaves pointing up in a steep angle - Leaves are tacoing up a bit with sharp pointy serrated leaves pointing up - Veins are turning purple and some leaves are showing green veins and yellowing of outer part of the leaf REASONS FOR THE SYMPTOMS: - Since the light is too close to the top of the canopy, although my light is running at around 60% and it is at least a meter away from the light. I think because this was a mother and basically she is accustomed to top canopy PAR of around 180-220 and she was measuring around 600PAR so that is just too much for the plant to handle. So I've lowered the light output so the top canopy is around 420 PAR. - Also my humidity is pretty high at around 72% so I lowered it to around 65% - The reason why the leaves are tacoing up to the light is because the canopy cannot take the high PAR, the temp at the top of the canopy is only 76F so that is acceptable, but the plant is trying the sweat due to the high PAR, but because the humidity was also too high it was not sweating as much as it should. - The reason why a light stressed plant shows different deficiencies eg. magnesium and phosphate is due to the "extra sweating" that takes place, cannabis plants don't choose what they intake, if they need more water to sweat, extra nutrients will be absorbed and this will lockout some of the other nutrients in the solution. **End of week update: Tried multiple changes but still no luck on getting rid of red leaf stem. - Added a 1 hour sunrise and sundown light regiment - Decreased Humidity to 65% from low 70's - Top of canopy PAR decreased from 600 to 350. Leaves red stems still not going away and top of canopy still trying to get rid of moisture with fan leaves pointing up. If anyone can chime in that would be great thanks.

Costa Mesa Haze is what I am renaming the "Vorneese haze" bag seed from my other grow diary. One of the best flowers Ive ever had in my life. Purchaed from HTC church in Costa Mesa, California in July of 2018. They arent a legit dispensary so they have zero clue who grew it or wtf is, or who grew it. I researched as much as possible and never found anything out. 12 Costa Mesa Haze 4 Blueberry Muffin Went a little OCD with this tent but figured after outgrowing the last one with randomly size plants I'd keep everything the same height as much as possible. Really focused on taking good cuttings of the same size knowing what I wanted this tent to look like. Only running the cree bulbs right now on the light letting them ease into things without stress. Will Veg for 4-5 weeks tops then 12/12.

Finally started to show signs of flowering, I was a little worried and inpatient. Scrog is filled out nicely, I have stopped tucking the branches and plan on letting the plants have their stretch. In about a week or so will go in for another defoilitation. I've started to add to PK boosters to my nutrient mix. Using general hydroponics , for some reason I can't select their nutrient line. Cal mag - 2.5ml/gallon Micro-2.5 ml/gallon Gro - 1ml /gallon Bloom - 2.5ml/gallon Koolbloom - 1ml/gallon Floralicious plus- 1ml/gallon

The week was without adventure. I raised CO2.. Now I will give the last week of Vega and translate to flowering. It is interesting to try to give the plant CO2 from the bale from the beginning of the vegetative stage😉

This was my 1st photoperiod grow on growdiaries and I'm glad I tried these Fast flowering photoperiods for it. Big thanks to Heather and the Fastbuds team. I have grown the Gorilla Cookies auto before so this photoperiod fast version has something to live up to. She grew way taller then i was expecting, hence the many bends and breaks. To be honest she was great to grow and the favourite plant of the grow. Because this grow was going so good I decided to switch back to photoperiods for the next few grows i just wish i had left her in veg for 1 more week. Total dry weight for the grow, decent buds=136g Light power Total= 200.43Kw 18hrs for 28 days = 504hrs 12hrs for 67 days = 804hrs Total hours for lights= 1308hrs 200.43÷1308=0.153Kw/hr average. Average 153w/hr Total g/W=0.89g/W Power used for grow=508.78Kw @0.30p =£152.63 Each gram cost £1.12 The buds have been curing for nearly 2 weeks so I haven't had a sample yet. There will be more pictures added once I try the buds and write up a smoke review but for now I'll just leave a video of the grow and a picture. Compared to powerplant, LSD is very slow to get going. By the end of week 2 of flower i expect more established bud-sites, however i have been told that LSD will get busier towards the later stage of flowering. We shall see. But in terms of plant health, there are no deficiencies (not that you get any with NFT), very uniform nodal spacing - no stretch, very large stems at the bottom and the root mass is exactly what i expect. The temperature has now dropped to 14c at ''night time'' so ive had to introduce a small heater to keep the temps up whilst theyre asleep.

Here we go, 32 days vegg now it’s time to flower. All plants are happy and healthy most plants are short hopefully that’s from the grape ape side of the family because we want to see some colors.Since they are short we will introduce co2 at the start of flower instead of introducing it at the end of stretch to make up for the short stature of the plants.

My Skunk Apple Run plant is still a bit young, but I can see those buds starting to form. It's a bit of a slow starter, with buds popping up all over the place instead of a nice even line. We'll see if adjusting the light cycle or its food might help it along. I'll keep you posted on any changes. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Week 2 Flower – Gelonade Run (Week 6 from Seed) The Gelonade girls are stepping gracefully into flower, evolving beautifully despite a very busy week on my end. Fewer photos this round, but I did capture a full-room video and some detailed shots of their stunning leaves, because even if time is short, the magic in the tent keeps on shining. Growth & Morphology Both phenos are showing their character. Gelonade #1 is vigorous and balanced, while Gelonade #2 is still carrying that special leaf mutation we talked about, leaves that open like a hand folding back into itself. I couldn’t resist photographing them again. They’re not just leaves, they’re little works of art. This week also saw the first defoliation of some of those big solar panels, just enough to keep airflow moving while still letting the girls power themselves. They took it in stride, no stress, only progression. Nutrient Program – Experiment in Motion The recipe shifted this week as we build momentum into flower. Start Booster is now replaced by Top Booster, and alongside Aptus staples (Regulator + CalMag Boost), I introduced a Plagron trio at 1 ml/L each: • Power Buds – to push flower initiation • Sugar Royal – to stimulate metabolism and resin potential • Green Sensation – a trusted all-in-one bloom enhancer The All-In-One Liquid remains on pause since the super soil and pellets are still carrying base NPK. Improvising? Yes. But with intention. I’ve had excellent results before with Plagron, and now I’m curious to see how their boosters synergize with Aptus. Environmental Conditions Temperatures are running a bit high (peaking at 34°C on hot days) and humidity has reached 60–70% at times. That pushes VPD to around 1.89 – not textbook perfect, but the Gelonades are adapting with grace. The TrolMaster WCS Substrate Sensor has been a game-changer here: it gives me live readouts of soil EC, moisture, and balance, all piped into the Tent-X brain. Watering is happening when moisture drops around 19–20%, promoting healthy wet/dry cycles and deeper root activity. Lighting & Room Setup The room is alive with tech. • Future of Grow Black Series 600 • ThinkGrow Model 1s • Lumatek Zeus 465w Compact Pro (newly added!) All tied into the TrolMaster ecosystem, letting me control light, extraction, sensors, and environment as one living system. Looking Back, Looking Forward From a seed to now the Gelonades have been nothing but joy. Strong roots, vigorous structure, and personalities shining through. Flower initiation is just beginning, so no dramatic bud sites yet, but the stretch and structural shift are in full swing. Next week, I expect clear signs of pre-flowers stacking in. And because life in the garden always connects back to nature: this week I also captured a photo of a bee pollinating a flower outdoors. Bees are the true keepers of fertility on Earth, and just like them, we as growers are here to assist life in expressing itself fully. A great heavy yielding strain. An awesome smoke. Loved the purple at the end and the taste is great too. Got a cerebral high with no strong negative effects.

Hi everybody this week went okay I noticed she looks a bit hungry so I've risen the PPM to 800 . Ph at6.8 . I had done a second lot of defoliation to enable light to the bud sites. She smells amazing has a very complex terpene profile when I smell her she smells like cookie dough on my fingers then after a few seconds it starts to smell like lemon sherbert then after that I can smell pink grapefruit . It's amazing it's another reason why I germinated another gorilla cookies but in coco. Well that's it for this week thank you for looking at my diary will be update every week.
