Hi Growmies Eight weeks into our cultivation journey, Epic Buzz has shown a resilience and robustness that exemplifies the best of indoor growing. The transition from vegetative to flowering is a critical time, and our plant is meeting it with a vitality that bodes well for the coming bloom. Here’s what’s happening: The root system of Epic Buzz is nothing short of spectacular, having completely filled and begun to overflow the confines of the net pot. Such vigorous root growth is a sure sign of a healthy and thriving plant. Since being topped, the Epic Buzz has recovered admirably, pushing out a lush canopy of large fan leaves and new growth sites. This process is crucial for maximizing yield and ensuring even light distribution across future bud sites. The plant has been moved under the Sanlight Q4V2 and has had its light cycle switched to 12/12 to initiate flowering. This change marks the beginning of a new phase of growth, one that will see the plant mature and start to form buds. The plant has been diligently cared for with a feeding regime tailored for this stage of growth, with a high dosage of Orca and Canna Boost to fortify its vigor as it transitions into flowering. With the Biscotti strain nearing the end of its cycle, Epic Buzz will soon have a dedicated space to expand and flourish. The next move will be into a tent where it can truly shine as it enters the full flowering phase. The journey with Epic Buzz continues to be a source of pride and excitement. As we move into the flowering stage, each new development brings anticipation for what's to come. Arrosage plutôt léger cette semaine (tout les deux jours), après le sur arrosage et l'excès de nutriments de la semaine dernière elles se sont très bien remises. La dernière est toujours en retard, elle continue sa croissance donc pas d'inquiétude ! On entre dans une période de canicule (35/40°C) donc le climatiseur tourne à fond, j'arrive à limiter la température à 26/27 max et environ 24 de moyenne. L'humidité est un peu difficile à maîtriser malgres le déshumidificateur, en moyenne 57,7% mais il chauffe, donc il faut trouver le juste milieu. Pour le moment tout va bien, j'attends de voir la suite ☀️

Well, This week wasn't so great. Turns out that when the cat got into the Euphoria patch she snapped some stems. They were still being supported by the surrounding soil so I didn't notice it right away, as I didn't want to investigate too thoroughly and risk causing more harm to the delicate seedlings. When they began to droop in the next few days I knew. I suppose if I hadn't stressed them so much they may have recovered. But at the same time, It's survival of the fittest here. I'm an outdoor grower, and to be brutally honest I don't have the time to be fawning over every finicky seedling. I need strong plants, and none of the other seedlings were stressed out by the overfeeding. There's a part of me that feels like it wasn't meant to be. I said a few nice words before they went into the compost. So I'm down to one, and you know what? That's ok! This is why I got a 3 pack, in case something happened, and you know what? It did. I'd feel like a real dumb@$$ if I'd only ordered 1 seed. $h!t happens, your brain fog messes up the dilution ratio on the fertilizer and your nosy cat acts like a twat. It's life. And I still have other plants. So, this remaining seedling didn't get any nutes this week, just a flush when she aired out a bit more and then re-potted in Coast of Maine Bar Harbor blend potting soil. I color coordinated pots and strains so Euphoria got the bright yellow. We had a couple cold, drizzly days when they stayed inside under the lights and on the heatmat which Ive set down to 70F. Will probably get pinched next week.

Height growth has stopped completely on plants 2, 3, and 4. Plant 1 is now at 22inches and most main tops breaching the trellis. Picked up some Full Tilt from FloraFlex to start throwing at them this week as they begin flush and start to finish out. Still running 3 grams per gallon(0.6 tsp per gallon or about 1 tbls per 5 gallons) of the B1&B2 from FloraFlex. This week I will begin cranking the tsw2000 from 75% slowly to 100% over the week and try to finish these girls out under the full 310 watts. Today I put it at 80% resulting in the highest tops on plant 4 around 500-550PPFD while the tops on 2 and 3 are receiving about 350 and plant 2 is receiving about 250. Will continue to increase the intensity and monitor their response. Hopefully in the next week or so we will start to see some color change and perhaps that runt will show us what she's been hiding. This diary follows Frosted Guava Auto 10A, one of the most compact ladies in the room and, without question, one of the most beautifully structured plants we’ve seen so far. Growing under exactly the same environmental conditions as every other cultivar in this project allows us to appreciate something fascinating: genetics truly have their own personalities. While some plants race upwards searching for the light, Guava has chosen a completely different strategy. She builds. Every node arrives tightly stacked. Every branch develops with purpose. Every new leaf seems larger than the last. Rather than stretching, she is constructing the foundation of what promises to become an incredibly dense canopy. Sometimes the strongest plants aren’t the tallest ones. ⸻ 🌿 Growing Conditions As with every plant inside the 8×8 Adventure, Guava Auto benefits from a carefully controlled environment designed to provide consistency throughout every stage of development. Weekly Feeding * Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L * Power Roots — 1 ml/L * Pure Zym — 1 ml/L * Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L * pH Plus — when required * Lemon Kick — when required The emphasis remains on supporting vigorous root expansion while encouraging steady vegetative growth without forcing excessive vertical stretch. Healthy roots build healthy harvests. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Development This has been one of my favourite plants to watch this week. From the very beginning she displayed extremely tight internodal spacing, giving her a naturally compact appearance. Instead of reaching upward, she concentrated on strengthening her central stem while producing large, healthy fan leaves that quickly shaded the lower growth. That was the perfect opportunity to introduce gentle leaf tucking together with a small amount of low-stress training. The transformation over only a few days was remarkable. Branches that had previously been hidden beneath the canopy suddenly found the light. The centre of the plant opened beautifully. Airflow improved. Future flowering sites became visible almost immediately. By the final photographs of the week, Guava looked like an entirely different plant. Still compact—but now balanced, open and full of potential. Her architecture is becoming exactly what you hope to see before the transition into flowering. ⸻ 🌿 Training Progress One of the biggest advantages of documenting these plants individually is seeing how small adjustments influence their development. This week wasn’t about bending the plant dramatically. It was about working with her natural shape. A few carefully positioned leaves were tucked away. The canopy opened naturally. The lower branches responded almost immediately by accelerating their growth toward the light. Nothing aggressive. Nothing forced. Just gentle guidance allowing the plant to express its own structure. Sometimes the simplest techniques produce the biggest improvements. ⸻ 📸 Behind This Week’s Photos The camera really tells the story this week. Early images highlight a beautifully thick central stem with exceptionally short internodal spacing—a strong indication of healthy growth and excellent light intensity. As the week progresses, the overhead shots begin revealing something even more exciting: symmetry. Every branch appears evenly distributed around the main stem, while the large fan leaves frame the developing centre almost perfectly. The close-up photographs of the canopy are especially rewarding. Hidden shoots are beginning to emerge from every node, quietly preparing to become future flowering branches. It’s one of those weeks where growth isn’t measured by height. It’s measured by potential. ⸻ 🌱 Looking Ahead The coming week should be very exciting for Guava Auto. With the canopy now opened through gentle LST and leaf tucking, I expect the secondary branches to accelerate rapidly and begin competing with the main stem. Rather than producing one dominant leader, she already hints at becoming a naturally bushy plant capable of supporting multiple flowering sites across an even canopy. If she continues developing at this pace, she may become one of the most productive compact plants in the entire room. She isn’t trying to be the tallest. week 6, i removed all the Internodes on the 5.5(I will mark the photos which is which) and lst on the 3 gallon pot(now four main colas). Temperature is the current temp outside, I do it by day just cause. There was a big storm and my plants loved it surprisingly, so tomorrow I’m going to drench the 3 gallon,which is dry again, in water to see if any more surge in growth happens. 3 gallon shows heavy prefñower I guess with pistils and the 5 gallon is alright

Day 8/3. (8 for Jack and 3 for Lemon) - HELP! Jack started having problems. Someone tell me why this is happening? After the transplant, I poured 100 ml of water. 100 ppm, pH 5.6. Added Root stim, 1 drop per liter. Tonight watered light solution (GHE): micro- 0.5 ml/l, gro- 0.5 ml/l, bloom- 0.5 ml/l, diamond nectar 0.5 ml/l. 380 ppm, pH 5.8. Volume- 200 ml. Watering divide twice. Morning and afternoon. Added to coco perlite. Proportion 1/4. - Lemon is fine. I didn't do anything with lemon Day 9/4. - Jack feels better. The problem has stopped and growth continues. I think this problem was due to overflow. - For Lemon prepared his first solution (BioBizz): gro- 0.5 ml/l, bloom- 0.5 ml/l, diamond nectar(ghe)- 0.5 ml/l, microbiological fertilizer- 1 ml/l. 330 ppm, pH 5.8. Volume- 100 ml. - Both plants are sprayed with a solution of BioBizz. Day 10/5. - Jack is fine. Did not do anything - Lemon is fine. Did not do anything - Both plants are sprayed with a solution of BioBizz. Day 11/6. - Jack Solution: micro- 0,8 ml/l, gro- 0.8 ml/l, bloom- 0.8 ml/l, diamond nectar- 0.8 ml/l. 550 ppm, pH 5.8. Vol- 200 ml. Watering divide twice. Morning and afternoon. - Lemon solution: as in the last watering. - Both plants are sprayed with a solution of BioBizz. I start to remove cups from them so that they get used to low humidity.

Flush at day 51. 10 days and I cut

Both plants grow with a nice healthy green color and develop well. Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barabara Bud) plant # 2 is a little taller than plant #1 at this time, but both show nice side-branching and overall growth. They love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are well protected inside the Secret Jardin grow tent.

27/8 Topped her at the 4th node and took away some of the fan leaves to give more light. 2ltr feed with RJ/SM/ST to alleviate stress of topping and defoliation. Watering every 3 days. 28/7 LST'd. With the small grow space i'm forced to keep her height down, Hopefully will see an even canopy.

The plants are doing really good! I made a first light defoliation beginning of the week and continued the LST day by day. So far I broke no branch. I planned to switch to 12h/12h schedule beginning of next week but the plants grew too big already so I decided to switch a bit earlier. Plants heights at the end of the week : ------------------------------------------- Gorilla Cookies : 40cm Purple Lemonade : 32cm Wedding Cheesecake : 44cm

This week had some growth but it has definitely slowed but the smell has gotten more potent. At the end of this week I will be harvesting this beauty. I will post weight and pics when I do. I will be flushing the plant the night before than harvesting the flower.

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.
