Nachdem die Pflanze fast getötet wurde, durch vergessenes gießen, hat sie sich jetzt nach dem topping erholt und wächst jetzt enorm buschig. Ich habe den Moment gleich genutzt, um sie etwas in die Breite zu trainieren und sie hat ungefähr drei Wochen an Wachstum verloren.

Aug 9: Now done three weeks of flowering for Tropicana Cookies EV. She is the youngest plant but also the tallest and looking quite happy. Got the UV led lights from AC Infinity going for the first time. Used these last year and they seem to work. UV lights stimulates trichome production and makes up for weak sunlight this far north. Aug 12: has stretched again but the bud sites are filling nicely. Pistils have started to turn pink. This plant is looking very happy and will likely be a big producer. Added another top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom. It has been about two weeks at least since the last round, and this will be the final round. Stopped using molasses about two weeks ago. Great for growing but I don’t want to be smoking sugar. Use during veg stage but only 2-3 weeks into flowering.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Hey Growers! The girls have officially packed their bags and moved into a much fancier place. The new setup comes loaded with perks: an automated controller that keeps the environment dialed in 24/7, managing every device so the VPD stays exactly where it should be (because apparently plants are picky like that). Drainage? Automated. Irrigation? Also automated. Basically, the grow room is now smarter than most of us on a Monday morning. Thanks to multi-frequency fertirrigation, the girls are getting up to 6 daily watering cycles, keeping the substrate pH stable and nutrient-ready at all times. Less babysitting for me, more thriving for them: a deal I'm very happy to sign. Now, onto the Mental Rainbows, and things are finally looking up. After slightly bumping up the Calmag base to 0.6 EC and doubling the daily watering frequency, something seems to have clicked. The new growth is no longer twisted and curled, and honestly, that's enough to give me hope. Now that I'm pushing irrigation up to 6 times a day, I can only expect things to keep improving. A few of the smaller, slimmer plants don't seem to have developed a main cola: their internodes are all growing at roughly the same pace. So while I'll be topping the bigger, more advanced girls that do have a clear main shoot, I might skip the topping on the slimmer ones and let them take their time catching up in height instead. No point rushing what doesn't need rushing. That said, even though these plants had a bit of a rocky start (likely due to a slightly more delicate genetics), I'm still very confident in them. As proven in my last run, plants that struggled early on ended up delivering even better results than the ones that looked bulletproof from day one. So, as they say: never judge a book by its cover, or in this case, by its baby seedling! 🌱 Tips, tricks, and roasts are always welcome. Happy growing everyone!

Everything has remained the same for these three girls. I have been alternating with two feedings and then just water. They are really blowing up at this point and I am just loving how they are going to fill this tent. There is one plant I haven’t topped that still has eight mains because I didn’t think she likes the dose of nutrients but it’s still the same height and recuperating just fine. No purple yet, maybe never. But still beautiful and smelling very good. Very good harvest coming. Buds getting fat. Given that the soil is organic with a wide variety of amendments I decided not to keep fertilizing with liquid fertilizer.

She's going g great lost her smell in a proper set up my mini set up she stunck but any way she's in flower so few more weeks and I can enjoy her smoke peace

dia 61. lst realizado nuevamente. alimentandose con 16ml/L de NPK y una cda/5L de melaza. en una semana le meto red scrog. pienso darle unos 20 dias más de vege como minimo.

Decidi optar por 15 dias de flush, comecei no dia 60 de floração regando com aproximadamente 10 litros de água com pH 6.7-6.8 @ cada 3 ou 4 dias (regando somente até sair embaixo e encher o prato). Essa semana foi uma das mais lindas de acompanhar, eu achei incrível o quanto ela engordou desde o primeiro dia de flush e eu ainda vou deixar crescer mais uma semana. Terminamos portanto essa semana no dia 67 de flora e eu vou deixar até dia 75. Meu objetivo são 200 gramas trimadas secas. Mas 150g já passa de 1g/w e isso já será uma vitória pra mim.

Como siempre una planta de fast buds se destaca, brillaba de tantos tricomas que tenía. Tal como dice la descripción de la variedad es una planta con la distancia internodal alta y de poca producción, pero te devuelve un producto helado y con mucho olor.
