Laughing Budda - Barney's Farm (outdoor)

The_Doctor_Green The seedlings adapted quite well to the transplant, and this week a little growth could be seen. They were watered with mycorrhizae at 1ml per liter of water.

The_Doctor_Green I transplanted this plant again into a larger pot (3 liters), watered it with mycorrhizae, and for now, it looks good. I'm still thinking about whether to move it to soil permanently later on because doing that requires more dedication and care. For those who were following the diaries of the Amnesia and OG Kush, I want to let you know that last week some bugs attacked the seedlings and completely destroyed them. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

The_Doctor_Green This week, as I explained in the other diary, I had some issues, but that's another story. Here, the plant is doing well, although its growth is slow; it measures 23 cm as of today, 12/20/23. It was watered with water and the organic fertilizer BS, which provides some beneficial bacteria for the soil, root system, and also works as a natural fungicide.

The_Doctor_Green As I mentioned in the other diary, I was absent for a few days, so I haven't updated it. It has grown very little, but in the coming days, I will plant it in the ground. Happy 2024 to everyone!!🤞🤞🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏

The_Doctor_Green This week I transplanted to an 18-liter pot for sure. The plant itself hasn't developed many roots, so I guess it stayed small for that reason. In the coming days, I'll water with mycorrhizae to see if it improves.

The_Doctor_Green The plant is growing well and has successfully overcome the transplant; it grew 11 cm from one week to the next, the leaves look nice, it was watered with mycorrhizae 1ml per liter and 2ml per liter of black gold from Namaste, to complement a little more at this stage. We'll see what happens later on.

The_Doctor_Green It has only grown 4 cm more compared to last week. I've noticed that the pre-flowers have started to appear, so flowering will begin soon.. I watered with black gold and organic power 2ml and 1ml per liter respectively.

The_Doctor_Green I'm recording this week as the first week of flowering since it's easy to see where the buds are going to grow! I hope they are big!!🤞🤞🤞😁😁😁🚀🚀🚀🤪🤪🤪. 2nd week of flowering as of 09/02/24, the future buds are already visible as they grow, it's a fast-flowering strain the grower told me, and you can see the difference with the other diary. (In the other diary, you can see that the buds don't even have a shape😅) This week I did a foliar spray with neem oil to prevent pests. In the soil, I watered with mycorrhizae 1ml per liter of water, I increased the water dosage from 1.8l to 3 liters, so that the same watering drains and I can measure the pH and EC. The drainage pH was 6.3 and the EC was 1100ppm. This week I also removed some lower leaves and twigs that weren't worth developing.

The_Doctor_Green This week the soil drainage gave me very high values, with EC at 3700 and pH at 8.3. In the previous waterings, the pH was 6.3 and the EC was 1500, so for the next watering, I will do it only with water to see if it normalizes. The plant is also growing in optimal visual conditions, with the buds developing healthily. I hope it continues like this.

The_Doctor_Green Hello everyone! This week the laughing budda is starting to show its fruity citrus smell, a delight that I can't wait to enjoy, it smells like orange, the buds are increasing in size and according to the breeder, this phenotype has only been in flowering for 65 days, so we are already halfway there😅🚀🤞😁

The_Doctor_Green Some large leaves are starting to turn yellow, which indicates that the "end" is near... in my personal opinion, the buds could use a bit more fattening up, but we'll see what happens in the next 3 days.

The_Doctor_Green This week it has rained a lot (from Monday to Thursday) and the pot feels heavy, I hope the sun comes out soon and no fungi appear. I've watered just with trichoderma to combat future fungi. According to the calendar, it has 2 weeks left...

The_Doctor_Green This week there was a lot of humidity due to heavy rains.. so the plant hasn't been watered since on 03/26/24 I will be pruning the plant.

The_Doctor_Green On 03/26/24, I harvested the Laughing Buddha. In the coming weeks, I will upload its yield. The plant was quite resinous and had some very noticeable citrus notes, to the point where I wanted to chew the buds before smoking them 😅😅.

The_Doctor_Green As I mentioned earlier, I jarred the laughing budda (only 40 grams 😬😅), but I’m focusing on the positive, which was discovering a variety with delicious orange, citrus notes. The buds were quite resinous, to the point of sticking to the scissors. By using organic products, I didn’t manage to get those big, compact buds for the photos. Maybe I didn’t use the products correctly since I didn’t have a guideline. But anyway, in summary, the laughing budda is 100% recommended 👌
