Week four of the bonsai mother project. This was the week I targetted to begin removing the sheath and exposing the roots. I plan to begin that process in the coming days. Day 23 - Photographed. I've been watering this girl tap water only, at the moment she has enough nutes in the medium, however I expect this to soon change. Her roots have protruded out of the bottom of the lower pot, as you can see from the video. Day 26 - Removed the sheath and revealed the roots and object they are growing over. I am not unhappy with these roots, I think I can work with them. I had to temporarily add a zip tie to hold her in place. P.S. Follow me on X! @unorthadoxdude

Ran into sulfur and phosphorus deficiency week 7. Added the small scoop beastie blooms and like an 1/8 tsp of silver bullet sulfur terp enhancer. Still running about 9ml per gallon at 5.8 possible hydrogen.. AC motor went out on one of the ac’s, will have it fixed by Wednesday been cooler temps and storms lately so been okay.

Week 2 of flower is in the books and all 3 girls are looking extremely healthy. Perfect time to start packing on the weight. There are tons if bud sites that will get tons of light due to all the defoliation I've done. I've never defiliated plants this much before and I'm curious to see the difference in bud production below the canopy level. I love trying new things and experimenting with these plants. Always coming up with new ideas on how to do things and making things easier along the way. Can't wait to see how much I'll get off all 3 and see the difference in phenotypes.

Flowering Week 6 – Fading Leaves, Persistent Flies The sixth week of flowering brought a mix of progress and persistent problems. The whitefly issue unfortunately hasn’t gone away. I replaced both yellow sticky traps at the end of the week, and within minutes, two new whiteflies were already spotted on the fresh left trap. The old one had four additional flies on the back. This pest pressure remains a concern, but I’ve decided to hold off on further neem oil sprays for now, given how far along we are in flowering. I’ll keep monitoring closely. Nutrient-wise, I stayed cautious this week due to ongoing signs of overfeeding. Leaf tips are still showing yellowing and some burn, especially on the lower leaves. Many leaves have pronounced yellow spots and curled tips — a clear sign of excess nutrients earlier on. To reduce stress, I watered with plain pH-adjusted water (5.5–6.0). Total watering volume was approximately 29 liters This week I also did a second round of lollipopping, focusing on removing all small popcorn buds and lower growth under the net that wouldn’t develop well. Despite the nutrient stress and the ongoing whitefly presence, the plants are still developing well. Buds are getting chunkier, trichome production is visibly increasing, and the overall structure is solid. Still, I’ll be keeping a close eye on both leaf health and pest activity in the coming days. ⸻ TL;DR – Week 6: • New whiteflies still showing up – 7 total seen this week. Both sticky traps replaced. • Additional lollipopping done: removed popcorn buds and shaded growth under SCROG. • Leaf symptoms (tip burn, spotting) persist – watered with plain pH water, once with half HESI dose. • Watered 3x this week: 9.5 L (pH only) • Light stayed at intensity level 7

Fast to flower some decently large nugs! This girl is the only one that survived my "initial torture test" for my sf4000(dimmed to 75% (333watts) in quarter of my 3x3 tent)! She was very resistant to "too much light intensity" as a seedling, and didn't mutate! Once the light was at an ideal height, she started vegging very strong, but 1 week of important time had been lost. She started to flower, and stacked up a bunch of dense buds very nicely! I'm very excited to be growing this strain again next run!-with more training.

Suffered from nute burn and tacoing which i think came from me having light too close and mixed ith high temps outside i think made it 1x worse, did flush and halved nutrients see how they react

...and here I am, at the end of this fantastic journey, with so much knowledge I have got in this process, including regarding myself! Fantastic!! Tag 90: Da die Runtz nun schon deutlich weniger Wasser benötigt und auch schon viele braune Stempel/Stigmen hat, habe ich mich kurzfristig dazu entschlossen schon jetzt keinen Dünger mehr zu geben.

Colas are stacking, trichomes are piling on. This plant is doing over time with the bloom production. Just explosive through all phases. A real strong and hardy genetic all around. Shes got a nice sea of buds brewing up in her 2x2. Fucking sweet. I treated her with Dr zhymes as one of her last preventative sprays. With her explosive massively productive growth comes hunger. She has developed minor pk deficiencies. As I said last week I was upping the feed end of last grow week. Which I did... but it seems it was a touch late for her likeing. When the day to increase came she had minor signs already showing. With her next usual straight water I will also be adding a touch of the pk booster. Getting close to the finish line to be chasing deficiencies... but should be able to ammend the light hunger lol. We shall see. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

So she's grown a lot since last week! The mutation is looking a little crazy still and I attempted LST and messed it up totally. Im sure it'll all work out in the end but I really would like to start widening the plant and use some horizontal space while we're still in veg. This could potentially be my longest grow, in duration. So I'll definitely need to train ASAP anyway. Here is what I did this week. 10.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 5.9 and containing the following nutrients; 💜 1/2 TSP Cal-Mag 💜 1/2 TSP Mega Crop Part A PH: 5 9 PPM: 1510. 10/15 This week saw a few snags. Both gorilla zkittlez girls are showing what looks like a Mg def i.e yellowing between veins and green veins themselves. This isn't the first time they've exhibited these symptoms. Currently the heaviest affected leaves are the lowest fan leaves farthest from the light. Aiming to keep it that way. I think it's pH swinging too low. I need to pay more attention to my feeds but sometimes I don't have the time to pH my water as properly as I should. The reason I say it's that and not a deficiency is because they are also showing signs of over feed (yellow leaf tips) only a one half-strength feed did this. There must be plenty of food left in the pot. I'm thinking the flip is gonna come at the end of the week. I'll clean up some lower foliage tomorrow or Sunday and let them grow the rest of the week. 10 weeks seems like a nice round number to me. Okay. So she stopped packing on weight right after her first real weight gain. Bad salt build up within the soil, ph off from 6.2 to 7.2 run off. Going to add recharge or some compost tea on next grow to help with that. Also, I think I could have gotten away with giving less nutrients. She smells amazing. Smells like trash from a far but as soon as you touch her, her aroma opens up to the fruitiest scent I have ever smelled! Another odd thing which might have to do with genetics. Many of the buds are hanging off to the right side of the stem. Like they have grown to one side of the stem and look like they are about to fall off. Mayne this had something to do with her not getting much bigger than she has? See last few photos and video. About a week or two left. Last feed a few days ago. Water from here on out.

manganese deficency is really eating her up quiet a bit.... defoliateing every 2-3 days because i just have to... wont add anything more so lets see how she goes from here

Hey everyone at week 4 know and wow have these girls grown early this week I applied some LST and all took really well to say it was my first time trying this

Was a easy grow for most part. Most of my efforts were toward the pineapple Express in nitrogen toxicity. But lsd was great. Would love to try it again one day. Thanks for likes and follows.

23.3.25: Hulkberry 💜💚 is sprouted, and now progressing well. It was a slow start, as I did not soak the starter plug and the seed kept drying out. I also added more perlite than usual and so when I was watering the seed, everything was moving with the perlite. Now that we have broken soil, I did need to remove the shell as it had dried out and became stuck. It came off easily enough, and I did not cause any damage to the plant. The extra perlite should be fine now, as we have roots to keep us in place at last, as well as the starter plug. When I get some more coco I will top dress, as the level of the soil has lowered since it was filled due to the extra perlite. That probably won't be soon though. It will probably coincide with the normal top dress schedule. The super soil mix I made was approximately constituted 8 gallons of; ☆ 60% Canna Coco ☆ 30% Perlite ☆ 9% Worm castings ☆ 1% Organic dry amendments. - Ecothrive Life Cycle - Ecothrive Charge - Diatomaceous Earth - Ground Cinnamon - RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules - Great White Mycorrhizal Fungi blend Thanks for hanging out 🍃 ✌️ 💚 🙂
