Our Rainbow Sherbet has started to flower, the main lining here worked really well. Unlike the other plants I cut at the second internode to create the mainfold. This is a smart choice because autoflowering plants flower more or less at the 5th / 6th internode, if you have to do topping it is better to start as soon as possible to delay flowering as much as possible. Another reason for topping / mainfold at the second internode is that the plant is lower and you can work the mini brunches much better. In fact here we managed to create a T-minlining. In the sense that the mini brunches form a perfect 90 degree T with the main stem which is not easy at all. To do this you have to use the arches with the wire it is much more complicated and the cut at the second internode helps a lot. So topping at the second internode, mainfold and then continue for another three internodes and topping again. You can decide to cut something along the way I left perhaps too much stuff here. However, for better or worse, everything that can see a fair amount of light enough to flower well is left. The plant is a specimen with a medium internodal distance and I managed to work it reasonably well. We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start card that maintains the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer now is Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a little swollen, do not start immediately. Es läuft alles gerade wie ich es mir vorstelle. Einziges Problem sind zu viele Triebe aufgrund des Toppings insbesondere bei der London Marker, dadurch wird es natürlich eng. Ich habe deshalb auch während der Blüte schon beschnitten . Ich versuche mich jetzt nochmal mindestens 7 Tage zusammenzureißen und einfach wachsen zu lassen, bevor radikal entlaubt wird.

Tag 56: Die Shogun ist der 1. Blütewoche um 18cm gewachsen, 20cm bleiben mir noch für die Lampe 😬 Ansonsten waren die letzten Tag sehr heiß draußen, und somit stieg die Temperatur bei meinen Pflanzen insgesamt um 2°C, das scheint sie aber nicht zu stören 😀 Tag 57: pünktlich nach 1 Woche Blüte konnte ich bei beiden Pflanzen (Shogun u. Triple G) ein dezenten Duft wahrnehmen. Heute ist es nochmal richtig heiß geworden, die Nacht Temperatur lag im Schnitt bei 26 °C und Tags bei 27 °C 😱, aber auch das scheint sie bisher nicht zu stören.😎 Tag 60: Es ist eine wahre Freude der Shogun beim gedeihen zuzuschauen 😍 Sie hat sehr kurze Nodien Abstände voll mit Blütenansätzen, alle Arme wachsen kerzengerade und sind super fest, was ich von der Triple G aktuell in meiner 2. Ein schönes Wuchsbild verreint mit einer starken Indica Dominanz. Nach dem ausselektieren und dem anwachsen im neuen Topf, ging es letzte Woche noch an dass Toping der Pflanze. Dieser Genotyp entwickelt sich eher nahe liegend am Hauptstamm, was wir vom Wuchsverhalten aber eher nicht wünschen. Daher wird dieser Typ einfach für den Taste gegrowt. Wir sind mega gespannt, wie sich die Pflanzen weiter entwickeln. Nach der nächsten Woche Erholung wird noch ein Topping folgen. Mental rainbow f1 has been developing well the bid site are bulking up noticeably whilst just started seeing the production of thrichomes on the main bud sites while at the smaller side branches are not that far behind the main ones

It's been a beautiful plant to grow, I thought she was gonna be a little bigger, however she has produced an amazing quality flowers, very sticky, terpy and stinky, the citric aroma it's absolutely wonderful just because of that I could grow her again and again. You definitely need to try this strain if you lovd weed.💚🌱🤤

September 25 > Harvest at dawn for the big girl. The usual routine... except I shot a time-lapse video this time to play with the camera I won last year. Clipped the top buds first - then the base. Took me 2 hours to wash all that -rinse - repeat. ---------------------------------------- Well this was an interesting summer with this pair of girls. I learned that I don't really need a container larger than 10 gallons in order to grow very large plants (in my neck of the woods anyway). Now when I say large I mean how much space they take up on my patio. I'm allowed to grow 6 legally but 4 eats up pretty much the whole patio. And the reality is I don't need to grow plants that large. The outdoor yield will last well into next year for me and everybody I know. So next summer I plan to do much more serious pruning to limit the scope and shape of the girls I grow outdoors. I also learned that I don't need an inverted tomato cage style support if my container is larger than 5 gallons. The Durban I grew last summer was in a 5 gallon container and there's not enough weight in there to keep her grounded. Once up to 10 gallons you won't want to lift the container much and there's enough weight in there to keep things stable. At the moment I've listed 450g as a dry weight for both plants (updated to 458g final). I haven't actually weighed the 2nd plant yet and won't even trim her for about a week or so (I'll be back to update diary). The first girl came in at 235 grams. I got pretty ruthless throwing away small budlets and trim this morning as it took me 4 hours to take this big girl down and wash her up. That's only because I spent half a day yesterday trimming Cream & Cheese and moving Northern Lights around... and it's been over 95 degrees both days... so I'm ready for a rest. Cannabis harvesting is not easy labor. Diary note > There was a software malfunction a week or so back and I was unable to add a new flowering week, whereupon it was determined there was a limit of 26 weeks at that time... so I didn't add any more weeks after that until the harvest week. When I added the harvest week, it appears the malfunction had been corrected because I COULD HAVE added a new flowering week at that time. I think there's only a week missing. Differences can be noted with dates on the photos. If I had a problem this summer it's because I was too anxious to get going after a long winter nursing shoulder surgery and I didn't pay proper attention to the lighting ramifications when the instructions were there for me, and subsequently started too early. Next year I plan for an early crop of auto flowers to keep me occupied until the proper time for a regular crop. --------------------------------------- September 30 > Trimming and processing complete. I really manhandled the big girl with the Trimbag, largely because I knew I was gonna have a pound of herb on my hands (way more than I will personally consume) and I wanted to minimize my hand trimming. So when I say manhandled here, I mean I ran it through the process TWICE, using about 40 rotations/spins each time. It probably would have helped to be a tad drier, but we're entering a cool spell now and we've run out of time. Mother Nature has decided to turn off the heater... which has turned my Purple Berry Kush a nice shade of purple... but that's tomorrow mornings's harvest... <sigh>... anyway... where was I... oh yeah... AMNESIA... <hehe> Trimbag generated trim on 1st pass = 217 g Trimbag generated trim on 2nd pass = 90 g Trim generated by hand after that = 186 g Final bud weight for big girl = 223 g Clearly, comparing weight of trim generated by hand vs by the Trimbag here you can see the result of my "manhandling". Little girl was in a 10 gallon pot and generated 235 g buds and 360 g trim. Big girl was in a 15 gallon pot and generated 223 g buds and 493 g trim. Final total bud weight 458 grams for both plants. Hope anybody following along learned something this summer. I did. 😎 The trick is to not make the same mistake twice. That's kinda why we're all here. Kinda. ✊

kommen in Woche 17/ Blütewoche 5 Vorerst verzeiht uns Bitte das etwas verspätete Update, nur der Geburtstag meiner Partnerin am vergangenen Samstag und ein gestriger Auto-Marathon von gut 600 Km haben es nicht eher zugelassen ;-) Zum Update: Kurz zusammengefasst, wer unser Diaries verfolgt hat weiß, dass wir Anfangs ein nicht entsprechend gutes, Medium, hatten. Auch das späte 2te Umtopfen in neutrale Erde, hat zwar sehr dem neuen Wurzelwerk geholfen und ohne diesem wären wir definitiv nicht so weit wie heute. Da aber eines wichtig ist zu erwähnen, wir haben natürlich beim Umtopfen es nicht geschafft, die Wurzeln komplett von der zu ,,harten Erde, zu befreien bzw. zu Spülen mit Destilliertem Wasser. Da uns wichtiger Dünger kippte fehlte es uns zur entscheidenden Zeit an Zucker, P+K, CalMag. So weit so gut, denn Sie wuchsen wieder. In dem Begriff haben wir mit Sicherheit auch ungewollt Nährstoffe rausgespült. Als es dann in die Blüte bzw. den erhöhten EC- Bereich ging, hat die Mitte des Mediums anfangs stets immer ein höheren EC- Wert wie die Erde die frisch umwachsen wurde. Dies brauchte auch ein paar Tage zum Registrieren dessen. Ein wahrer Balance Akt und Symbiose ist gerade auf dieser Ebene arg wichtig. Wir haben zusätzlich mit Co²- Tabletten gearbeitet, um die Nährstoff-verabeitung anzukurbeln bzw. Überschüsse zu vermeiden und zudem, sehen uns die Damen nur noch kaum. Die allgemeinen Additive werden im Moment zweimal die Woche mit Supermicrobes und ein wenig PK 13/14 unterstützt. Zusätzlich wie geahnt, ist der Sommer da und das nicht zu knapp! Selbst im Garten Gießen, ist eine Herausforderung. Wärme- Hitzestress ist sicherlich auch ein großes Thema. Feingefühl, was die Lampe betrifft, muss noch in Erfahrung gefestigt werden. Daher haben wir auch letzte Woche Dienstag umgestellt auf 600 Watt und selbst dies führen wir wahrscheinlich nur noch bis nächsten Samstag, denn die Temperaturen sollen auf 39 ° C steigen. Durch alle Einflüsse haben wir zwar spät (Gestern Abend) aber definitiv ein paar Blätter verloren. Wir haben die Blätter bewusst stehen lassen, um zu beobachten, ob es sich eindämmt und oder schlimmer wird mit den Mangelerscheinungen. Des Weiteren wenn sie stehen bleiben, werden auch die nicht so guten Blätter am ehesten weiter vergehen, statt neue intakte anzugehen. Am Haupteingang befindet sich auf der linken Seite die Oberzicke von allen Damen^^ Sie leidet am meisten, weil sie zuletzt aber auch den höchsten EC hatte und somit als letztes natürlich mehr Destilliertes Wasser bekam. Man sieht es ihr an, dass es ihr nicht so gut geht wie den anderen. Insgesamt bis auf die Zicke werden allgemein Nährstoffe angenommen und neue akute Mangelerscheinung sind nicht wirklich zuerkennen. Wir befinden uns stets in der Zeit, wo es sehr schnell zu Überschüssen kommen kann, da man versucht die Mängel auszugleichen und unter Berücksichtigung des Nährstofffasses nicht zu viel hineinzugeben ins Medium. Wir die sehr lange gelernt haben nicht mehr groß zu Überdüngen, kommen bei diesem lauf echt ins Schwitzen, da die Damen wirklich viel Nährstoffe brauchen und auch Verbrauchen. Selbst alle 2 Tage nur rein Wasser ist nicht ausreichend. Eines steht fest, diese Strain wird ein Wiederholungs- Strain! Die Schönheit liegt im Auge des Betrachters, insgesamt für diesen lauf sehen sie trotz allem Umständen schön aus. Ehrlich betrachtet, führen wir in diesem lauf doch die längsten Zöpfe von je her. Ob sie auch so voll werden, die Colas (Zöpfe), wird sich zeigen. Im Moment bildet sich eine schöne Budstruktur sowie Calyx aus, sie werden schwerer und breiten sich schön um den Stamm aus. Leichte Farbakzente kann man hier und da mal wahrnehmen. Die ersten Pistols werden braun, die Blütenbildung setzt sich fort. Fast flowering indeed as fast in vegetative stage. Cut this girl in branches and hang upside-down in smaller tent for drying Set RH @ 55% , temperatures not able to control so they will be something around 20-21 in drying tent Second Tropicana will be chopped within a couple off days In this cultivation, I used commercial LED lighting for the first time—the HLG Scorpion Diablo 650w, a beasts of light. It helped the plants beneath it develop exceptionally hard heads without heat-induced stress. The light spectrum is excellent, and the plants under it appear much healthier than those under my old light. They also finished faster, if that has any relevance. After numerous failures and difficulties with the timers I used for pumps and electromagnetic valves, which resulted in interrupted irrigation on several occasions, I believe I’ve resolved those issues. The TrolMaster programmable devices work perfectly in recycling mode. The ability to adjust times in seconds is precisely what I needed! The TCS1 Tent-X brain, equipped with an excellent sensor for temperature, humidity, and light detection, is remarkably accurate with rapid value measurement response—faster than the AC Infinity 69PRO controller. My favorite piece of equipment is the AMP3 sensor with pH and EC probes. It performs exceptionally well—precise and accurate. Integrating it into the system is as easy as a breeze. All equipment and sensors can be added fast to the entire system. Additionally, the humidity control I use with the Corroventa K3HP air dehumidifier works like a charm! Try some small bud, very strong stuff! From first early girl i got 128g net weight Second Tropicana Cookies is on trimming session within couple of days.. 15.05.2024 Second Tropicana Cookies get trimmed. Amazing plant in term of bud density and aromas that it have. Hard and high odor buds. From second girl i got 131g net weight Total dry bud mass from two plants is 260g, Total power consumption for this two girls is around 180w. Total power used in whole tent is 720w at its maximum peak for 8 plants. Next week after leaving it in Grow Bags , first smoke review, can wait ! Overall growing Tropicana Cookies was easy grow with lot of fun. This girls are resilient to everything, from bad weather and less than perfect climate conditions. They except all. Growing two plants i can say that they grow very uniformly, finishing at same height and overall same density, size and shape. Almost like from a cutting. That is what i really like ! In future i gonna to grow this lady's at least one more time but with difference, i will grow them as only strain in same tent. Combining them with Purple Lemonade and Wedding Cheesecake was little bit challenging, i feel that either off three cultivars didn't show the best off them. Main deference was plant height and nutrient requirements. Highly recommended strain for everyone !

Week 11 Jan. 13 - Jan. 19, 2020 Jan. 15, 2020 CS #1 & #2 are coming along nicely. No amber trichomes but wow t the plants are frosty and they have a strong pungent smell. When thr main cola is bent a little sideways it really begins out the smell. The smell is like a gassy, diesel fuel, strong chemically smell. I love it. CS #3 is giving me some problems. The pics might show it. The leaf tips are curling up and thr leaf edges are turning brown. Not sure if I can correct this befor harvest. It's late into flower. I may just ride it out until then. I've topped dress once weekly for the last 4 weeks with kelp, and a blend from roots organic for bloom 4-6-3.

Smooth few days after the defoliations. They seem to be happy. Malted Milk can be very temperamental but I have been catching on to her ways. Still wary with my feedings tho. Want to give all these different nutes and unknown what the results will be? Installed ac units in each room to ensure good temperatures and RH outside the tents. Hoping for another good week!
