Week 5 topping and clean up and used top for a clone

Such a great week! One of the best weeks is seeing the colas start to develop. Makes me happy to be a grower!! This week I was playing around a little with my temps/humidity, trying to get a better understanding of VPD. I'm sure most growers on here have or are currently battling Rh fluctuations inside their grow tent. As plants age, especially during flower, they release moisture into the air causing Rh levels to increase. Also every time you feed you are adding water (moisture) into the air which in late stages typically you feed/water 1G plus each time per plant. That is a lot of water! Depending on your setup you may not be able to keep your Rh down in the mid-high 50s. With most VPD charts there are "sweet" spot ranges to keep your temps/humidity levels at for the right VPD. So in the end I have raised my temps up to 28-30 C and my humidity is now 58-65%. After adjusting my levels, I noticed a HUGE improvement in plant production and how healthier each plant looked. The Purple Kush was having deficiency issues and with it being only a week away from the start leeching (flushing), I kept feeding it as normal. Buds were looking really nice compared to the previous Purple Kush. The Moby Dick's were also starting to show signs of deficiencies. My guess is to be Potassium (P) or Phosphorous (K) deficiency but It didn't play around with the nutrients. At the end of this week, according to the Remo feeding charts, week 5 is an increase in nutrients so I just let them go. My feedings are pretty much consistent each week which is about 5 feeds each plant. I do the lift technique and when I can lift the pot with little to no effort I feed.

Had some humidity issues been watering with spring water until I get something to filter the tap water Jan.8th amnesia haze 1 got bit taller so I did some more LST

Well as the strain that was completely making my grow room stink I'm glad she is down finally . Anyone looking for some stinky buds and a girl who can give you nice compact buds and a good amount look no further .I'm going to run these girls again sometime soon as they were just so dam good at taking what ever I threw at them ..They had no nutrient burn or lockout issues , they lived high humidity and never showed stress . They could go with out water for an extended time and recover no problem . Unfortunately, one of the two seedlings succumbed to the intense sunlight exposure of a single day and exhibited classic signs of stress and stem damage, succumbing within the first week. With only one seedling remaining, I decided to proceed by faithfully following the established nutrient schedule. Here are the nutrients administered: May 8th: 250ml of water 0.5ml of RootJuice 0.5ml of BioHeaven 0.5ml of Activera EC: 450 nS pH: 6.5 May 10th: 350ml of water 1ml of RootJuice 1ml of FishMix 1ml of BioHeaven 1ml of Activera EC: 850 nS pH: 6.5

Nov 10 - Day 80 - Finally she's starting to fatten up more, will try to go 90 days with this one NOV 10 - DAY 82 - Will flush her tonight and see how she fares, hoping to double her size in a few weeks

FINAL WEEK? Feb 28th - pH 6.0, PPM 400, 0.8 EC, Temp 77f, Humidity 50% - What changed! 3 gals, hoping this to be the final week. The trichomes look good, just want to ensure all are sufficiently done and ripe. Mar 1st - pH 6.3, PPM 400, 0.8 EC, Temp 81f, Humidity 70% - Adjusted pH from 5.0, added water to adjust PPM from 550. Mar 2nd - pH 6.4, PPM 420, 0.8 EC, Temp 80f, Humidity 55% - Adjusted pH from 5.4, added water to adjust PPM from 550. Mar 3rd - pH 6.4, PPM 460, 0.9 EC, Temp 77f, Humidity 62% - No adjustments. Mar 4th - pH 6.2, PPM 460, 0.9 EC, Temp 83f, Humidity 80% - Adjusted pH from 5.7, VPD is ass, no idea on how to change or fix it. I have 2 intakes and one exhaust, the room the cabinet is in is not high in humidity, just the 1.5x2.5 cabinet. :/ I have tried a dehumidifier, but in the end, it didn't collect anything after a few days, so truly at a loss, I've also tried defoliation, but I'm always afraid of doing too much, I mean I guess it's the last week/week and a half so it shouldn't be too bad to cut leaves off but damn, what about the earliest stages, shits going to be tough to dial in... Mar 5th - pH 6.3, PPM 430, 0.9 EC, Temp 85f, Humidity 70% - Adjusted pH from 5.7, seeing more purple on the buds, maybe I'll go another week just to see if any more color comes out. Gorilla Zkittles going down friday looks awesome! Gelato is gonna get one more time nutes and then to flush till day 70. Pretty happy with these.. Gelato smells like blueberries and GoZKi has that fruity dank smell nice 😋

Still fighting with pH. It was 5.5 when I add the plants, but when I check a few hours later, it's already above 6.5 Days 2: I trimmed the bottom fan leaves from Purple Kush to keep them off the ground. I also topped Purple Maroc. pH was still below 6 Day 4: Veg is gone wild..... I have been shoving the large fan leaves on the Autos underneath other branches to allow light in. Red Purps may get topped yet again. Day 6:. Switched autos to bloom nutrients. Added Purpanator to them. pH set to 5.5. Topped bottom and mid branches of Red Purps to keep canopy more even. Day 7: replaced CO2 generator.

Not a bad week, nothing much happening, topped the plants and made some more dry PH down as I don't like using the liquid Phosphoric acid down as I don't use it fast enough and its going bad. Starting to discolor and tun yellow from clear. The acorbic acid is also ageing and going yellow, will need to replace it soon. ran the ph down mix through and sieve to grind it all down to around the same particle size for the chucks. Also added in a desiccate packet into the container to help with moisture issues. Over all the plants are good. Some issues with the transplant but not going to react to it. just going to let it sort its self out. defiantly some N tox, seems to always happen with Gaia Green 4-4-4 the N content is just too available while the rest is slower release. Would like it if their N in the formula was a bit more slow release over all. most of it is fast. Some of them showing some other issues as well but just have to wait it out. they are also going back into veg from my mess up on the lights. Thought they where on 16/8 but was really 12/12 from a week or so ago. the CBG seeds from GTR are doing the best. handling the extra N with good strides and nice growth on them. Topping plants was fine, took some pics of their tops. tried to get em all around the same height. looks good to me. Herbs doing well too. the basil is getting nice and deep rich green. can smell it heavy if the plant is brushed at all. Will need to keep pinching off their tops to make a tasty little plant. The catnip is going to explode in size I have a feeling. Its only one seed in that whole pot. Taste so good crushed into some cola. Nice minty flavor but not too offensive/sharp like other common mints such as pepermint or spearmint, its softer and almost creamy. highly recommend. fresh not dired.
