So far my confidence in this next go around is very high! 😃☀️ Putting the seeds straight into a jiffy pellet is the way I am going to proceed with germination going forward. You are just adding extra variables to what should be a simple equation (seed in sterile medium + warmth + moisture = seedling) unlike with the paper towel method, where you need to transfer them to the medium. But this is just one opinion of a rookie grower.

I deliberately sent my 2 ladies into flower 2 months earlier. roughly the 12/12h rule. Sometimes it was 10 hours in the sun, but sometimes 12 hours. In my region it will soon be rainy and cold. I'm toying with the idea of harvesting them before I catch mold or something else. The trichomes are all milky. About 15-20% amber colored.

Fruity Pebbles autoflower growing in the Blue Planet is going huge. I am pretty sire I had 2 different phenom types growing. She is starting to bulk and has lots of bud sites to fill. Everything is going well at the moment. Today the Blue Cheese Pheno 1 became the first time rinsed, and now only gets 0.4 Ec water for the next 10 days ca :-). Everyone else needs a while. otherwise there is not much to report this week. We are in flower ! Trainwreck is doing great, the defoliation delivered the shape I wanted like always, simple training but can change the plant shape a lot. The flower stretch went super well, I think she will stretch a bit more but should be almost done. I cleaned the lower branches completely to avoid any problems down below, better airflow and less risk for Pm etc. Still not using any nutrients, all living soil from Sonnenerde.

Not an awful week, not great though. I seem to have developed a fungus gnat issue, albeit small as of yet I'm taking appropriate measures to get rid of them. First I drenched all the pots with a 1:4 peroxide:water mixture(1l total liquid) and let the soil dry out over a few days(it was already fairly dry). Once that dried I added nematodes to each pot. I've given the nematodes 4 days so far and I'm adding defender mites(stratiolaelaps scimitus) to the soil tomorrow. I have yellow traps everywhere as well. I'm also getting rid of my wood chips(most of them) for the rest of this grow for a faster drying time on my soil. I'm really happy how the freak has been turning out. I'm super excited to try it! Haven't posted in a bit been busy with life, I am harvesting the Grape God tonight, I am going to push my other plant another week. Have 2 going in the new Autopots system. New larger tent and new Mammoth light are going up after the holiday. Will be posting more soon as I will be running some more testers. Threw up the other plant as when I post video it rejects any pictures..?

Helllllo! Fuck that storm! Almost had no power, luckily... and I mean LUCKILY, the power stayed on, but dayyyum was it nasty. Had issues with 1 plant not getting enough light... so I got another 600w. The 450w is great, for 1 plant. No longer a problem, but had some leggy ladies on 1 plant due to this issue. Buds are forming nicely, but non-the-less, MOAR LIGHTS. Advanced Nutrients is fuckin' ridiculous. I can't say enough good things. Just keep up with the diary, it's gonna get nusto pretty soon. 8/19: One of my AK-47 seeds all just showed their taproot. She's been put in her jiffy pellets and I will be creating another diary shortly. The rest is on cruise control bayyybayyyy! ***At this stage, being my first grow, I finally visualized what and why the "Scrog Method" works. It's fucking insane how you can build a canopy to bush out and be so top-friendly. I'll be sure to use this method... eventually! It was just a nice "lightbulb" moment of understanding reality vs. research.
