Hey Friends, end of week 8 from seed :) Many new things have occurred this week Plant 1 is beginning to mature, its not growing in height as much as before but now its getting thicker and looking stronger. I am slowing increasing the amount of nutrition, I don't want to burn them at this stage. I noticed some of the leaf stems were turning red, so I decreased the light and its turning back to green. Did some defoliation this week to give more room to the smaller leaves. Plant was getting taller and was too close to the grow Light so I installed some netting inside the tent and it helped control the height for now, if it gets taller ill purchase a bigger grow tent 😩 Looking forward in seeing some bud formation in week 9, will keep you guys posted. [DAY 36] - 6/7/2022 - 29°/30° and 60% RH average; - TS 1000 set at 75% = 112 watts and 45cm away - After bending the plant has returned to about 38cm in height; - EC 0.9 / 1 - PH remains fixed at 6.4, no matter how much PH down I put in the solution, it will always return to 6.4 after few hours; ------------------------------------ SCROG TIME AND DEFOLIATION IN SEVERAL TIMES ------------------------------------ - 8 PM - Lights on and scrog net mounted. The scrog net is about 25 cm (10 inches) from the clay and I have tried (at my best) to space the individual branches in the various outer squares of the net. In the next few days I will try to better fill the free squares to try to fill the scrog net completely. - 6 HOURS LATER - I was very rude due my inexperience. Despite that, plant seems already recovered, it is drinking and the branches are already bending to seek the light. [DAY 37] - 7/7/2022 - Just removed some leaves under the canopy who won't get light. I did defoliation in different times due I wanted no stress the plant too much, I hope it was a good idea. [DAY 38] - 8/7/2022 - More defoliation - Bent branches through the net; - Added peppermint oil on the lid to prevent insects from getting into the tent; - Today temperature is cooler, which is why I decided to keep the light off for only an hour. I took the opportunity to give the plant more light after the stress of the last three days to allow it to recover faster. It will go to sleep directly tomorrow at 5 pm until 9 pm, as usual. [DAY 39] - 9/7/2022 - Mounted the carbon filter; - Tried to fix the scrog but I broke a branch; [DAY 40] - 10/7/2022 - Today I tried to lower the net but it is harder than I thought. By now the branches are stuck in the net and I was able to do very little. - I probably made it worse, Before the branches seemed to me better spaced and now I'm afraid of forcing my hand too much, I risk getting even worse. For a couple of days I leave the plant alone, it's not growing so much; - EC 1.1; PH 6.2-6.4; Still drinking about 2 l/day; - TS 1000 set at 75% = 112 watts and 45cm away from the center of the net. The branches on the sides are going up and slowly approaching the lamp, but I don't move it higher because I want a strong light to arrive in the center to allow the lower branches to rise and reach the others. We hope well - I am worried that I've stressed the plant too much, there are numerous branches (even recent ones) with a color tending to red / purple. I hope she recovers well and will try to stress her to a minimum in the next few days. For the first time I had to take care of the plant directly, handling the branches and defoliating. Surely someone more experienced would have done a much better job than mine. Get back soon HULK [DAY 41] - 11/07/2022 - EC 1.3; PH 6.4 - Temp. 28° / RH: 50%; - Today I started raising the EC from 1.1 to 1.3 and the plant reacted well. I used the solution prepared 2 days ago with: demineralized water EC 0 / 0.4 g/L SILICATE / CAL-MAG up to 0.35 / A + B + HYDRO BOOSTER + 1/2 dose of BLOOM STIMULATOR for a total of = EC 1.3. Having to add 2 liters to the DWC, I raised the EC of the made solution from 1.3 to 1.7 with the only addition of CAL-MAG => TOTAL EC IN DWC = 1.3. The plant seems to react well, after 6 hours the water level has dropped and the EC dropped from 1.3 to 1.2. The plant shows to be hungry, especially for CAL-MAG. Over the next few days, I will keep EC levels well monitored and act accordingly. - TS 1000 set at 75% = 112 watts and 45cm away from the center of the net. The branches on the sides still are going up and slowly approaching the lamp. I start to see very few leaves with yellow tips, if it continues like this, I move the lamp 5 centimeters away from the center; - For the moment I stop with the defoliation for 10/15 days, on the advice of @SwissKush [DAY 42] - 12/07/2022 No update. I'm fine, don't worry.

Heavy defoliation taking place this week as I am trying to expose the bud sites to more lights. I am taking out most major fan leaves and leaves that are blocking bug sights. I also somewhat lilipopped these plants to remove the larfy bud sites that we being produced at the bottom of the plant to focus more top bud site growth.

This week they climbed about 7 inches. I’m in love with these girls. They’re a lot of fun to watch. They’re so uniform and wholesome I can’t stop staring at them. I just watered yesterday with just 6.3 ph water. I realized I was using too much veg fert. so I kept that out of my feeding for this week. I thought it said tbs instead of tsp so I was using way too much. They seem happy though so I think I’m ok. Other than that, I’m excited to see how much they grow this week.

23.08 These girls with co2 and so much light exploded in growth and are really packed in the tent. Never had such density. I will defoliate hard after this week and hope it will turn out fine. Fingers crossed cause the yield can be huge.

Been a smooth week. The Gelat.OG is looking happy. She is in the back corner. Gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. Been plucking a few leaves here and there to keep light to all of the branches. Just going to keep spreading her out as she grows. Will switch them to flower in a week.

1/22 Week 4! Folded in some CalMag temporarily for a slight def showing up in Jool, foliar of same on all. Recovering nicely from topping will decide on 2cd later Jool recovered her normal color in just a few hours after feedings. Can pull the Cal-Mag for a while. Thought of increasing nuets a tad to 10ml but no need to rush just may have to hit them with Cal-Mag once in a while. Time to hit the roots again 10ml/gal Kangaroots one feed only 1/25 Leaving in a small amount - 2ml/gal - of Cal-Mag with CocoTek more for peace of mind than anything else Keeping them small till I have a place to flower then... then we pour it on. 1/27 Continuing to walk the line between keeping them healthy and keeping the size down - working ok so far Growing nicely although some concern found on Zhaan, feeding pattern on just the two tops shown, no where else. Nothing seen , sticky trap put up will check often for further. Not grabbing the Soap just yet see if anything else pokes up 1/28 Sticky trap clean so no flying critters Think hes right about strange leaves but I want to add I may have done some of this during topping. Just from what I see Bit of a conundrum the plants are near-ish to the size we wanted to flower them at BUT there is no room at the Inn, (sativas...) so we have one path to getting this done. Keeping them as small as we can without risking defs for another week then beginning the flowering in the veg tent Moya while the sativa finishes in 2 weeks. Thats one week of flower in the small tent at best, not sure about that. I swear two tents and one is a 4x4 and still space problems... good to have that problem too 😃 That's the plan but we know there is about a ton of crap that will go wrong like that sativa taking longer. Re-eval in a week Feeding remains as before 1/29 Pic and vid to end week no further issues and the tent is now full. Good problem to have but its convinced us that flowering in Moya is problematic Raised lights to 24" to see if they will go up instead of out for a while. Defol the bottom end of the plants just a bit in attempt to encourage some vertical growth with that as well.
