One of the targets for that grow is to keep the height of the plant as low as possible, because i only have about 80 cm from the bottom of the box to the LED lights as available space for the plant, so i thought i will a give that LST a try. Additionally i slowly started incresing the power of the LED to 60%. By now (a few weeks later) I already know that i started the LST a little bit early, but the plant was reacting well and kept growing. Furthermore I added a cheap webcam to my setup to create some timelapse videos. It's not a high res camera, but I still find it very interesting to watch that plant grow in timelapse 😁

É stato il mio primo ciclo di coltivazione e purtroppo ho fatto molti errori che mi serviranno da esperienza. Ho sbagliato inizialmente la distanza della lampada e le piccole si sono allungate troppo, poi ho iniziato LST forse troppo presto e non sono riuscito a orientare bene i rami per farle crescere tutte alla stessa altezza infatti alcuni fiori sono proprio piccolo rispetto ad altri, altro errore quello di non misurare il PH e questo mi ha portato ad avere inizialmente carenze di fosforo e potassio per poi continuare con calcio. Ho sbagliato le dosi di fertilizzanti che dal prossimo ciclo alzerò per provare ad avere risultati maggiori in termini di quantità e infine come ultimo errore riconosco di aver iniziato il flush troppo presto (17 giorni di flush) quando avrei potuto dargli almeno ancora un’altra irrigata di fertilizzanti per far gonfiare i fiori. Nonostante tutto sono contento ed é stato molto divertente e istruttivo, ora le piante stanno seccando e poi le passerò in concia per provare finalmente il sapore. Ho fatto una pesata a umido solo di una pianta perché tutte e due insieme non ci stavano ma credo sia sballata come misurazione quindi peserò direttamente a secco. A secco sono risultati puliti 68g, ho fatto una concia di 3 settimane e il sapore é davvero buono. Sballo da divano, molto potente come effetto. Sono molto soddisfatto

My First diary. First time growing Fastberry bay Fastbuds. Hyped af. Hope for a big plant. Maybe you'd Like to follow this grow.

Another week and not much has changed. This lady is very picky with feedings. Been having trouble keeping her happy the last week now. She has started to frost up a bit which is nice to see. I have to say I am a little confused as to how this is a Fast Version. She is the slowest flowering plant I have and she was billed as being the quickest?? 🤔 She is starting to smell a little now and the smell is quite sweet 😁 Hopefully I can dial his lady in in the coming week. I’m thinking I want to retry this girl indoor and see if I can control her better inside. I think my main issue was pot size this time and a late transplant. But 🤞 I can still get it to the finish line. 😎🍿 I am considering trying to move her out of the greenhouse this weekend. We will see if I can wiggle her out the small door lol.

This week: air bubbles, air bubbles, and AIR BUBBLES, that's why my growth has been weak lol. AAAAAND I wasn't giving them space between the net pots from the water! VERY IMPORTANT NEW DWC-ers lol Sooo this week I was just letting them be. Until I realize I was messing up, everything in the book EXCEPT those 2 things I state above. I just received my new air pump today as am writing this (everything is installed) very pleased with the new pump. But I gotta replace those airstones they seem clogged up (yes I did wash em, warm water and a firm toothbrush) But I've been checking everything down to my pH that's it's constant at 5.8 My PPM is the same when they drink so let's see the difference a week from now. I do start to see lil pistols coming out on the 1st plants I think shes done veggin let's see next week. hey entering week 8 flowering, the smell is low but really nice. still struggling with plants height, i had to supper crop the bigger one as i said, then another one, and today again the last one; anyway plants look healthy and happy so i am too. day 59 update. I had to bend it over again the same two branches because the plant still try to get upper and upper.

It’s a nice grow so far in terms of expectations reality on the seed breeders. Great stuff again. I had a real germination nightmare this time around though - lots of strains failing at seedling so the numbers and strains became more 😂. So the tents are mixed up again to auto on one side and photoperiod on the other. In this tent as well as Afghan and a red gorilla - there is sweet zensation , banana krumble and red hot cookies and a peyote skittlez. Water in using ro solely through the grow. There has been one issue. I tried a “pro” substrate from biocanna this time and I have those little fleas. Really annoying and my aphids are late so kind of annoying - takes the pleasure off a bit. Any good organic solutions let me know please on comments

Great week, very fast plant to grow, will be ready in 9 weeks. Big plants , smell super strong. Smells exactly like turpentine and diesel. Really dark purple, Camara doesn't do justice, thanks everyone

Week 7 Oct 26 - strong growth this week. They grew from 18.5" to 28" last week. I' m letting them grow into the light and today the middle plant is at 18" from the light. started adding there flowering nutes this week. I started using Terpinator last grow (in photo -used on chem dog left, not used on right on chem dog from previous grow grow). it really seems to work

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here: 1:. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. Easily a 2 week savings in time pre-flower🤟😎😳. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. The mainline training didn’t take long in DWC - roughly 4 weeks of veg. And she was ready for the flip. We only extended it a further 2 weeks to keep pace with another grow in the same space. Otherwise, I would’ve cut the veg. Time back to 4 weeks which would’ve made the behemoth of a root ball a little more manageable. We also iceballed the res. With frozen water bottles twice a day throughout the grow. Just to keep temps down and avoid any potential issues. Whether or not there’s a better, more efficient way to get these kinds of results remains to be seen. We’re still trying to strike that balance between faster veg. Times and maximized yields. If anything, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the hermie issue at the end had something to do with the root ball binding on itself due to size. The true culprit was an unanticipated light leak but still - The ball could’ve been 2/3 the size and likely have produced similar results🤷‍♂️. I’m giving the method a slim 4 because it was a great success but too long a veg. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Regardless of the final number, we had hoped that the yield would’ve been bigger. She’s a beauty of a plant but didn’t really puff out as much as we were hoping for. At least not a mainline on a 6 week veg. At 5.125oz we’re obviously not complaining and the colours in late flower were some of the best ever seen😎👌😎👌. What she did yield was frosty, dense and surprisingly stinky AF. I see no discernible difference in the quality of the terp. Profile vs. Any of our previous organic soil grows. For those who tout this as an advantage in soil media, I say get urself a bucket and a bubbler, then we’ll talk. Hydro is just straight up awesome: 1:. 4 palm trees on the yield - any haul north of 5oz is a great addition to the cellar: 1:😎: 1:😎. Props - many thanks as always to the gd folks who made the platform available for us all. Big pound to all those at the boof party. Got a bunch of outdoor and couple clones to tend to now. This diary should have been updated a long time ago but the lack of time and mine reluctance to actually go back to the time of harvest, I did delete most of photographs of the harvest in rage as it was not a nice memory for me, here is why. So the last update i made to the diary was on 19 September and already then i knew something was brewing because we had a week long rain spell and it did not look like it was about to stop at that and the weather forecast showed a month more of rain. Without that rain and high RH i would probably give them girls one more week under the SE 7000 :/ The weather forecast was unfortunately right, so all in all we had around six week of relentless rain...outside it was from 90 to 95% RH in my house it was mostly 85%RH and in my grow room which is located in a basement i had from 60 to 63%RH with lights and dehumidifier on and around 70% with lights off. And that was a killer for my tightly packt grow room. What i did was to open all the walls from the grow room at dark time and had two big external fans blowing air at my plants but it did not help much... My first observation of bud rot was on 24 of September while making photographs of the beautiful buds. That week i lost to bud rot 4 bud stems, after the chop while drying i found another 5 infected stems, and by final trim just before jaring them i removed one more. So all together i lost to bud rot 10 bud stems, four of them were really big ones. I had made some pictures of the buds with bud rot and of the buds hangin in drying room but they did not survive my dark mood :( Sot thats the reason i got only few photographs to show for it. The final weighing was actually not as bad and lightened my mood a bit, that and that that i did not found any more mold on my cured Killer Kush :) So the dry weight after curing was 720 gram of dry bud I still till today did not make # from all the trimmings...but the trimmings are properly dried and waiting for bubble bugs in my freezer. After this learning experience i decided to add at least one more 30W air mixing internal fan, and i did get to know one of my relatives possess a 300W dehumidifier so next time i will be better prepared. Maintenance wise i will try to defoliate and lollipop my plants more aggressively to let in more air penetration.
