previously, all my seedlings have almost stretched. this time i put the cm led lights 2 inches away from the seedling, and it seems to have induced self-fimming and divided into 5 or more branches. despite looking at many timelapse videos of germinating seedlings, i have not seen behavior similar to that of my little girl. besides that, it was a pretty uneventful week. i mixed and changed nutrients once testing the doser - still feeding at 1ec, pH 5.9. I had one leak, i think the hpa nozzle was shooting water from the side as i was not sitting correctly on the grommet - i must figure a way around this. i did not build the garden master controller yet with high-pressure sensors, hopefully soon.

Going to start flushing the shorter plant but keeping the taller on feeds for at least another week.

Going well, they are all drinking consistent, feeding them a pretty high dose at the moment, around 2.2ec, signs of burning and spotting int he leaves, think that might be few issues with A

Ok so I chopped her.... I had too.... as I found rot in Blue Gelato, I knew she could have some... and I was right. Sometimes I hate being right... lately more often than not. But on a good note. She really only had a little 2 or 3 buds I don't remember... Trimmed lightly and hung to dry... I have to run a dehumidifier due to all the rain.. I have only been getting 10 hrs of sun total, I realised now.. normally i use supplemental light in the winter and i grow autos usually. But I'm always changing crap... and forgetting what I should do when... so really fuck it.. I will keep flowering with 10 hrs of light. I will have to figure something out soon if I'm going to grow outside this year..

All the ladies bounced back from the little stress at the transition. They are all charging. On 9.11 I’ve increased the light from 600 to 660w. We will see tomorrow how they handle it.

Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

January 31st - Day 120 from seed. I flushed twice with flawless finish over the past 8 days, and harvest day finally arrived for this freak show CBD Cheese Pheno. When I started this grow I had no idea a phenotype from an auto-flower strain could take 120 days from start to finish. That said I'm not complaining about the extra time because she turned out beautifully. Massive, dense, sticky, and aromatic flowers. Thanks for following along. This specimen had already resented the topping, I think. She didn't show much effort to become more branched and was already pre-flowering in week 2. Normally, I wouldn't top an automatic of the Red Family from Sweet Seeds from experience. Somehow they had problems more often, when I did. When they were fully grown, they were usually very productive and healthy. She simply had too weak nerves. But that's ok. My nerves are also pretty down. Due to the loss of my beloved Quimaria - I miss my sweet cat girl insanely. That's why I didn't want to interrupt this passage with the good old Secret Jardin to set up the Homebox. Too many beautiful memories stick to this tent, because my ladybug always sat at the edge of the bed, when I did my gardening. For me, this also means a kind of farewell.
