In my opinion, the harvest was quite good for a first grow. The buds are now in jars with humidity control packs and hygrometers, curing in the dark. Several weeks have passed, and I've already had the chance to try them. I have to say that I quite like the taste, and when smoking, I don't experience any harshness or other negative effects; instead, it feels rather mild and pleasant. The effect is good—not what I'm used to, but very pleasant and calming. I'm already looking forward to the next grow.

This week, my Titans are sleeping in a cooler dark room until harvest. So for your viewing pleasure, I've loaded some videos made of the Titans during there time with me. I'm wondering what to serve at my Queens Tea Party... I made some butterscotch pistachio bars and modified the recipe for less sugar. 😋 We experimented with topping the bars with black cherry spread, orange marmalade and a mango jelly. All are very tasty as the bit of sour/tart enhances the butterscotch sweet. A few solar eclipse pics.

Day 53: In this last week I moved all the plants again and removed the leaves and branches for the last time. Twenty or twenty-five days at the most for the first harvest, and I can already draw up a final report on the genetics of this strain. On eight plants of Gorilla four showed a predominance indica with a large central cola and less ramifications. Two plants are much more bushy have a sativa predominance with longer buds and have branched out a lot. For the last two unfortunately has dominated the photoperiodic genetics and their flowering is considerably late, so as to be overcome by the two cheeses that are in bloom more advanced. However, the pistils have popped up and started to bloom, so the autoflowering genetic part is present. I am a patient grower anyway, so I will wait for them to complete their cycle even if I have to wait about three months. In these days I have added to my secret garden four other varieties: 1 Purple Glam Kush and 1 Sweet Tooth Auto by Bulk Seeds, 1 Critical Rapid by Barney's Farm and 1 Northern Lights x Blueberry by i49 Seeds. New dedicated journals on arrival 😉

Week 7 is done and that overdrive really packed more buds on her colas, spot where you could kinda see through got filled with more buds and that is neat ! Everyday she seems fatter and fatter, the trichomes are filling up slowly and developing everywhere. If you point a led flashlight at her she will sparkles more than santa Christmas tree I was right about her phenotypes regarding bud development, instead of lots of golf balls sized buds i will get 6 colas jammed pack with lovely buds. Her structure is really strong and she now drinks a lot more than she used too. She put on very nice colours under the right atmospheric conditions and the smell is getting more and more sweet as time passes Overall this cultivar is what you would expect of a blueberry in any way, from the size, the odour , the buds and leaves structure too . Where she Surprised me is in the redish/purple she shows . Dont get me wrong i have seen purple blueberry but not with that red shade in it . I am looking forward to harvest and will starts looking at trichomes with my lens more often, id say another week of full nutrients and a week of flush combined with a 48h of darkness prior to harvest Until then fellow growers, keep growing and take it easy 👊🏻

Little bit of defoliation today just to allow light to hit as much as possible,.. day 21 from breaking soil, all look healthy, started a proper nutrient feed today also, still toying with the idea of topping or just some lst, not sure yet, will see how they look next week,.. stay tuned 😀

I deliberately sent my 2 ladies into flower 2 months earlier. roughly the 12/12h rule. Sometimes it was 10 hours in the sun, but sometimes 12 hours. In my region it will soon be rainy and cold. I'm toying with the idea of harvesting them before I catch mold or something else. The trichomes are all milky. About 15-20% amber colored.

Nice fade coming. Looks kinda alien like and not the traditional buds. Maybe the light is too strong?

Looking good late updating this week creeping the p and l as mid flower comes. Other than that this week coming in will see a light defoliation to help fatten bud sights

Today was the day! Both girls have been chopped at day 55 of flower. Reason being is after 2 days of plain water **(I’m aware this is a short flush, but nutes were tapered down in the week leading up to this, then with plain non pH’d water there was 6 fertigations, 4l per plant per time over the last 48 hours - the runoff has been coming out plain 0.3EC tap water, same as the inflow).** The trichomes that we’re only cloudy on top had began to change over to amber and the lowers that were clear became milky after having plain water so I pulled them down for peak potency. Maybe could have had a couple days more but not the end of the world I am still very happy so far with the result from what I can see so far. I have just removed the largest fan leaves off and separated into branches or more like clusters of tops on branches. In a couple days I will probably remove a little more leaves or if they are drying evenly and nicely I will just remove them when I dry trim. They are now hung inside the tent, aiming for 18-20°C temps & set to 50% RH, hooked up to a Inkbird Humidity Controller and a dehumidifier. Hoping these will take a week to ten days to dry so the flavour and smell is not lost. Both Phenos of this strain have come out in beautiful colours under the torch on video, I can’t wait to see them both when their dry and all trimmed up in all their glory. This OGgelato is a champ! Not the heaviest producer, but its been a real pleasure and was easy to grow. No matter what nutrients I throw at her, or aggressive pruning, she bounces right back. This week I found bud rot on one of my other plants in the greenhouse but this plant has so far been resistant and is healthy. I thinned the canopy and defoliated out quite a bit to create more air flow. I now have fans on 24/7 and sprayed with a mycorrizhal fungicide that suppresses botrytis. Also this week I have stopped pulling the tarp on and off each night (for total darkness) because it seemed to trap in too much humidity at night. The humidity outside has been 80-90% for over a week! And the rain was so heavy all last week. This week is slightly warmer with less rain so hoping we can make it. The trichomes are starting to get milky. I imagine I have 1-2 weeks left but am not sure. This has been a pleasurable experience for sure, but this is stressful right now! The smell is so strong you can smell it on my block. You can see *everything* from the alleyway adjacent to the greenhouse. I'm worried about mold and thiefs and can not wait for this to be dried and in jars!

-07.04.2025 Today is the day. After a thorough examination of the trichomes, I decided to harvest one of the two Royal Critical Automatic. After a total of eleven weeks. The wet weight of the flowers of Royal Critical #1 = 81 grams, The second Royal Critical Automatic was harvested 3 days later on 10.04.2025. The wet weight of flower of the second Royal Critical #2 = 90grams. The flowers are now hung out to dry and will be weighed again in 7days. -16.04.2025 After 9 days the Royal Critical Automatics are dry. The branches broke directly when bent with a nice cracking sound. The dry weight of both plants together is 41g. The flowers were stored in jars for curing with a humidity packet from IntegraTM and a hydrometer. Total Time: 1879,36h Total Energy: 326,30kWh 1kWh: 0,30€ Energy Cost total: 97,89€ 💚

Plants are looking good so far, added about 2ml/gal to the reservoir this week and plants responded well. They are all keeping short and stocky so far and should be able to start LST training in a few days I think. I also turned up the light to 750w and the air temps are now hovering between 24c-25c. Water temps are creeping up though in the 21c range, gonna wrap the buckets tonight in foil insulation and build a water cooler for this setup soon as well. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

*****Week 14 growth – March 13 to 19, 2021 – Week 6 flower ****** Feeding has ended this week and we are in flush mode now. The girls have just started to slow down their drinking and pistols are changing colour, buds are swelling, they are getting ready to finish. Added the UV and IR light bars in this week. Started the week with just one bar and then both in place by end of week. Each bar has 10 x 730nm, 10 x 395nm, 6 x 660nm pulling 30 watts each. Trichome enhancers!! Working with the new light this run I have certainly pushed them with more light intensity than they should have received, broke 1100 PAR for a bit. This has also started to cause some foxtails to begin rather than staying compact and swelling the buds. Know for next time……always changes to make 😊 Little more detail….. Mar 13/21, Day 36 - Feed day with full line of Innovating Plant Products but at ¾ strength. - Keeping up the feeding but thinking about nitrogen levels and working on reducing. - feeding with grow – 0.5, micro – 1.5, bloom – 2.5, ult B – 0.5, carbs – 0.75, B Storm – 2, S Storm – 3, Terp – 3, Jet Fuel – 1.5, Rezin 1 - 1300ppm and 6.2pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 3L - Added in the first UV bar today Mar 14/21, Day 37 - Seeing lots of swelling these days from the girls. - Microbe feeding today…….possibly last round of microbes. - Plain tap water with Recharge @ ½ tsp/gal and Natures Candy @ 1.5ml - 400ppm and 6.1pH - 3L all around today…..very little run off. Mar 15/21, Day 38 - Another feed day today. Last week of feed so pushing them a little more. No Grow added! Last couple of feeds with CalMag as well, seeing some magnesium issues so giving last dose. - feeding with micro – 1.5, bloom – 2.5, ult B – 0.5, carbs – 1, B Storm – 2.5, S Storm – 3, Terp – 3, Jet Fuel – 1.5, MagNifiCal – 1.5ml - 1175ppm and 6.0pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 3L - Mar 16/21, Day 39 - Just giving the basic building blocks at this stage. Most of the supplements not added this feeding. - feeding with Grow – 0.5, micro – 1.5, bloom – 2, carbs – 1, Rezin – 1.5ml, MagNifiCal – 0.5ml - 875ppm and 6.0pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 2.5L Mar 17/21, Day 40 - Last Feed Day……calling it at day 40 this run!!!!! - 4L of feed water left from yesterday so added in 12L of RO water to keep the ppm down. - Left over plus Rezin @ 2ml, Overdrive @ 2ml (its hard to let go of your routines…I have been using Overdrive for so long……it feels wrong to not be using it this run….snuck in a couple ml😊) - 485ppm and 6.0pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 2.5L - Light power pushed back up to 525 watts……..keeping the intensity up to hit the lower bud sites….will see what happens to the uppers. Mar 18/21, Day 41 - Starting flush but not hitting the pots with 12 gallons of water each type of flush! Will just drop the ppm down to nothing and use RO water……planning on having close to 3 weeks to flush….second guessing that I really have that long though so may actually end up adding a flushing agent to the girls…..decide in the next 4 days so can leave plain water time if I do. - Watering with Enzymes @ 2ml…….clean up the roots and help them get more of the ppm out of the media. - 100ppm and 5.9pH……..missed the pH but not adding both up and down, ran with this. - Light power pulled back down 480 watts Mar 19/21, Day 42 - Dry out day today. Will be letting the pots get dryer now before adding more moisture. - Leaving them for today though. Give flushing agent in next 2 days if going to. - Work down the light intensity more in next couple of days as well. - UV lights going now for 3 hours per day on both fixtures at the middle of the light schedule.
