For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. The plants all look healthy going thru this first budding phase we are almost done with week 2 of flower which will end on wednsday. I bought some pot elevators, and tied apart a few tops growing closer together. All plants tops look even except the first split plant which has a few stretchers, Not to bad tho. I feed 2 times a week and the rest straight distilled water which reads 6.5 ph. Assuming my coco's natural ph balance is wearing slime starting week 3, I'm going to ph to 6.2.

Saturday 16-11-24 , Flowering day # 53 week 8. Harvest day! Cut branches off plants & hung the 2 front plants off the light. Put scrog net back in with a large flyscreen laying on top, & spread branches from the back plant over it. This allows complete air flow around the buds. Running a single oscillating fan beneath pointing to the bottom. Temperature is around 24°C & RH is 55%

Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. Alright, bad news ladies and gents, I got the bud rot. It’s been humid as hell here and I think the buds were way to dense and not drying. I noticed it by inspecting the buds. As bud rot rots from the inside out, I noticed a few “out of place” leaves on the buds that were brown. From my experience with late season bud rot last year I knew right away. I peeled open the bud and sure enough rot. I looked around a bit more and found it in a few more places, I decided right away to take the large buds, and leave some on the plant to mature. The big green behind the garage, I also found some on one bud, I cut and tossed it. The purple one has no rot yet, I think because of the spacing between the bud sites, it’s not dense. Anyway here is a partial harvest, and some bud rot pics. I’m letting them finish, I’ll just keep an eye on them. Pray for dry weather for me. Cheers.

Transplant day!!!! Transplanted my 5 Purple lemonade ladies from solo cups, to 5 gallon grow bags! Today is day 14 and they had a fantastic root system. (Attached a photo). I am running FFOF this run, with 20% perlite added to the mix. I will not be running any nutes until probably week 5, as fox farms comes ready to go. This will be my first run with Ocean forest. My normal medium is Cocoloco by bushdoctor. I top dressed these girls with around 2 inches of cocoloco from a previous grow, to keep the gnats and bugs down. They dont mess with the cocoloco, I'm in Hope's that the couple inches of that on top will help with this also. They will veg under a 4ft, 8 bulb T5 Light.

Stem rubs are light lemon cake. Some have no taste. 3 are pretty big, 1 no smell nothing special. One is unwinding twisted root but has tight nodes lots of new growth but no stem rub. They all nice n hairy good immunity some are very fast and nice smell! Culled the two shortest ones after snell n node test they were just nothing special. Down to 3 with one lanky one small nodes but hairy n good smell gonna give her a week n see.

Well, they got their first topping midway through last week. Waited a few days then gave them a bit more stress with a container change. Probably should have waited a few more days before moving them but they seem to have bounced back well. Started the transition to flowering and will go ahead and give them a quick defoliation and trim again starting next week. That will be the end of clipping and such.

Doing good after the transfer to a bigger medium. No nutrients for 2 weeks since the soil is very rich in nutrients.

Day 67 and the last one is ready. The smell is incredible and the trichomes are crazy. Love this strain and gonna grow it again

Week 19, day 6. Second week after switching to 12/12 lighting. Nr 1 is 155 cm tall from top of soil and Nr 2 is 171 cm. All video and pics is taken when the girls have hade 11.5 h of no lights and just got watered. The stretch on these girls was incredible the past 2 weeks after switching to 12/12 lighting. So fare this has gone smooth as silk and no problems at all despite temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius for the last 45 days. I have manage the heat by having between 85-95 % of RH in the room all the time. And this genetics from DinaFem seeds is awesome, i hope i will get a massive harvest of strong indica medicine.
