Whats Up from Down Under growmies?!! Another update- And its been a week thats for sure. I noticed a few spots of bud rot on some of the Zkittlez main colas- after that rain last week- so being week 7 in flower heading on into week 8, I decided to chop the affected buds and a few around them. After sniping out the mold, its hung up drying now. After speed drying a few nugs to see, it was obvious she wants a week more to put on a bit more weight, she dries out to weight next to nothing but damm is she clean as a whistle!! Very fresh and sweet smell, and taste with a racy head high thats on the short lived side. That also suggests she needs at least a week more if not 10 days. But what can ya do? Its a few Oz easy if it kept its weight. Quite enjoying the smoke though so cant complain. Id be annoyed if it was for sale as it weighs next to nothing, but its not. I ran it super light on nutes the whole way, and prob stopped bloom nutes a week too soon looking back, so light weight is to be expected in early bud. A dose of humiboosta this week was given to help release any remaining nutes in the soil and give the plant a boost in carb production for its last week or so. Hash plant is looking good considering its issues, its fought off mold on its own it seems, I snipped off a few buds that had issues, but all in all its doing well for a runt I fed even less than the others. Colas are looking very fox tailed but also filling in quite well despite that, will be interesting to see what the final buds look like. Gave a final dose of light Bloom nutes and Humaboosta for her last two weeks or so. Project Sour lemon D got a heavy dose of bloom nutes as she basically wasnt fed until I saw the buds were actually buds and not bananas. So second proper feeding since she started flower a few weeks back. And decided to do this weeks diary in the Twilight light, as I noticed the Zkittlez had a Visitor that was settling in for the night to do some hunting, so added a few pics and a vid of him/her also. Some trichomes are clear others are turning cloudy , still no Amber. I'll lower the feed from now with a view to harvesting in the next week to ten days .

She's 2weeks into flowering at this point. I decided to stop giving her the 'Power roots' nutrients and start giving her 'Green Sensation' because I calculated that she only has 6 weeks untill harvest. I want to stop giving her extra nutrients after 4weeks from now so she has 2weeks to get a propper flush. she look healty and strong. For so far i'm really happy about this Power flower seed i got! She’s a bit of a mess after changing res for a flush , will need to sort out something easier next time . Also wish I had scrog to make better use of this little light , Day 83 started a flush , will part harvest in a few days as I’m going away, buds could be better they are somewhat sticky pistils look ready , Ordered a loupe a little late . has been a good learning experience, Notes - don’t over do nutes early - change res more frequently - try lollipop and use a scrog - invest in a higher watt light for yield and tighter bud , - don’t grow near summer heat major issue , autumn and spring more ideal

Hey now, hope everyone is well, this week went pretty good, both Glueberry OG Autos sprouted, and look good for a week in. They are currently in Pro-Mix seedling starter mixed with perlite but will be transferred to Coco Coir/Perlite as soon as their roots fill up the solo cups. I have grown seedlings in Coco Coir many times but I prefer to start them in ProMix because as there are no nutes in coco, you have to start with tiny quantities of nutes and work them up each feeding, and seedlings can be very finicky to EC/PH etc., and some strains can even be much more so than others. With Pro Mix, there is enough nutes for the first several weeks so I just give them water with a plastic syringe every 2nd or 3rd day. I have found that starting seedlings in Coir doesn't really produce a big advantage (at least for me) but her time in Coir will come. A couple things I also do is make sure to go by container weight above all else to know when to water. It is very easy to overwater seedlings and drown them, as I did when I first started. The other thing is I just lightly water around the very edge of the cup, to prevent drowning the roots, and also to force them to work their way out to the edges of the container instead of straight to the bottom. I started prepping a few bricks coco for this grow last night, I am re-using the coir from my last grow. I flushed it down to .4 EC and I currently have it soaking in a Cal Mag solution of 2.0 EC. I will let it soak for a few days then flush it again back down to around .4 EC. This is important to prevent cal mag deficiency down the road. To flush I just use a garden hose and a couple of saw horses with a 2X4 running through the handles of some fabric pots filled with my coir. It makes it easy to flush, and also easy to catch runoff underneath and measure the EC. I inspected and tested 2 of my drainage system this afternoon as I always test them outside with a few gallons of water before I set them up in the tent. Not much to do this week but hand water them every couple days, and hopefully by next update one of them will be ready or damn near ready for her final home which will be a 5.4 Gallon Airpot. I will be giving the other away to a friend to see what he can do with it. Once in her final home she will get fed 4x per day, and the runoff will go to my tomatoe plants outside which will also be in coir. I am super excited to crank this Medic Grow Spectrum X up and see what she can do. I am currently running her at 30% which is about 230 watts. I will be adding more seedlings to the tent here shortly to try and fill her up, but I started with the longest autoflowers and am trying to time them so they are all ripe within a relatively close time frame. The plants under the gravitas are all clones as when vegging and building a new vegging room the plants got a bit too big too flower underneath gavita. The nicest plants have been put under the LEDs and the rest clones cut and place under the gavitas in a sea of green method. Hydros at the back. Corner as well. A little mold in the room hope it doesn’t affect the flowers, I trimmed a load and placed an extra two fans in as well as a dehumidifier, hopefully this helps

This strain gave us no problems, very simple to grow! The plants both stayed small and bushy until flower, then they took off. We will be back to adjust the weight and add more comments. 8/14/21 - The buds are done curing and it’s 🔥 Smooth and flavorful 💨 We finally smoked it and couldn’t finish a joint lol. It’s a lot stronger than we anticipated. I love indica strains and this is now one of my favorites. Next up we have 2 Lemon Kush and 2 Gelato growing outdoors as a side project in between indoor LED grows. Blueberry from seedsman was so simple to grow. We messed up on a few things but we got plenty of nice buds and made 2lbs of butter for edibles. -FIN-

All 18 CANNALOPE HAZE plants from DNA-GENETICS continued thru week 6 to develop their BEAUTIFUL flower crowns. The plants on the right under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED-Lamps from SANlight are in general a little more uniform (all have almost the same height). The plants on the left side under the Lumatek PRO 600W are developing well, but some are smaller and some are taller. The production of flower seems to be on PAR now between the two sides, but thats hard to judge only by looking at them. In the end the weight will tell, who produced more flower. 😃 I still give only PURE tab-water, without any PH correction, since the BIOTABS nutrients are adjusting the ph-value and work for the FULL-CYCLE, its unbelievably easy and convenient, I LOVE IT! 😎 The Ambient Q240+ from HOMEBOX is now nicely filled by the plants and they continue to grow well. 😁 The Lumatek is still running at 100% at a distance of 50 cm from the top of the plants. The two SANlights at 60 cm distance were so strong (first signs of light bleaching) that I decreased the power by dimming them to 80% during week 6. I am curious to see how the test goes on further...

Day 50 - Decided to veg for one more week. Plants currently 70cm x 70cm wide and 33cm tall, hoping to get to 40cm at end of week. Fixed issue with the low extration rate. Found the filter had become blocked from the humidifier. Have moved it to the opposite side of tent. Hopefully this prevents it from happening again. Day 53 - Have been have Ph issue again due to algae. Plant hasnt been drinking much and growth seems very slow. Day 55 - Defoliated whole plant. Roots have some slime on them. Peroxide flushed with plain water for 12hrs maintained around 150ppm. All slime appears to be gone.

Getting bigger and bigger, I’m expecting big yields off the ScrOGed plant. The plant in the big tent is beginning to fatten up, especially the bud that was pollinated... both are still shooting new pistils everyday. The mother plant was cut around day 70 but I’m thinking these could go further than that, only time will tell!

Got a couple more days until day 56 (week 8) but just wanted to add a few things from this week. The flush is coming along nicely and getting some really nice colors to come out, Really excited for the finish. Just uploaded the day 56 pictures, shes looking beautiful!

Starting off strong this week 💪😎 the left plant is looking so good and also the buds on the left plant are so nice and big 😋 the right plant is showing yellowing but that is fine because she will be turned into bubblehash anyways 😏 happy growing all!😎💚✌️

Very happy I went Original Sensible Seeds beens this grow. 🤩 All 3 autos from some special american line, and o boy , they don't disappoint.🔥 Bangers genetics 👏🏻 all trees are good size with super thick stalks and loads of fat buds. Another big defoliation been done this week, removed around 2 kg of leaves.All frosty with great smell. I like it a lot 💚

March 9th. I nearly forgot the Update from the " Eggs" These Plants are growing in less than 10 g of Soil Feeding/ watering daily . They are diving into the Feedingsolution Its alittle tricky to keep them happy but , I feel it works Flowers are stacking and Leaves are fading alittle everything asign for Final Weeks Those Runtz smell like Heaven I still have alot of Fun with those Grows

This little one gallon girl is pushing along nicely. I'm shocked that aside from the yellowing leaves, which I believe was just a bit of a nitrogen deficiency, she seems to be the healthiest of all of my plants. My other 3 autos have had low soil pH issues recently, which has caused a nutrient buildup in my root system, but I think this girl has been blessed with that extra bit of runoff, and from also being watered daily, giving the roots no time to dry out. Loving the structure of these colas though, they're really filling out, and a lot more time to go! Excited to see what she'll bring to the scale :D
