The plants look nice and healthy but they are not going to be monster plants. I gave the plant which is ahead in development some low dose nutrients this week to try and prolong its flowering a bit. I also defoliated a little bit as the fan leaves were blocking light access to some of the buds. Not sure whether it was a mistake.. let’s see 😀 I increased the light intensity to ca 640 umol/m2/s and raised the lights a bit to provide more even light to the canopy. The trichomes are already cloudy so I estimate that I can harvest in ca. 2 weeks. Hope the buds will still fatten up a bit.

Week 7 of flower in the books and the Kush is in the home stretch. Pistils are all turning orange and buds are getting thick and resinous. She's got a nice citrusy smell and the colas are all swaying in the breeze. Shout out to Seedsman for these stable genetics. No deficiencies or issues that I had to fix along the way. Really happy I still have a couple more seeds left over.

Week 20/5 - 26/5

Yesterday I discovered that, in order to change my timer, I didn't put the clock back onto it. Now they had 3 hours more light on the third day of flowering. Exactly the kind of oopsies this grow really doesn't need. But it happened and all back on a normal schedule, but I hope the OHS en GG4 aren't affected by it too much... One accidental re-vegging is more than enough for a year. Also, these sensitive strains can hermie on me for lesser reasons so from now on I'll be checking for male signs daily. The XTraKush is performing as advertised, with enormous stretch, these plants can go 10 ft up according to the breeder. So I'm tying them down and managing this to fill out the space. With all the stuff going on, this 'underdog' strain might even prove most resilient, when all is said and done. They seem to respond really well to the SP-3000 light and If you are in the market for a new light, consider this option from Mars Hydro. Thank you @MarsHydroLED for letting me try it, it is a dream of a light. I compared it to my old light again and PAR values are not even in the same ballpark. Day 43_________________________ - Decided to make the 12/12 shift due to my Caramelino growing enough to risk light burn if it doubles in size during flower. I have the light as high as I can safely put it in my tent with fans constantly on above the lights, and still only have 33” of space from the top leaves. - That being said, lots of LST will be used to fan out instead of up. - Flushed out the system completely this time. Before I would drain enough for the water pump to suck in air, but this time I filled with 50 gal of pH’ed water. Then I measured PPM. I stopped when the remainder of the water was 250PPM. Just a little richer than my tap water. Should have been doing this the entire time. Probably wouldn’t have had the nute burn spots that I was getting when I was 1400-1500 after half a week of the plant eating and drinking. Now is sitting just above 1000. I feel the plants will appreciate the break from over-nuting. Day 48______________________________ - plants are all loving the lower PPM numbers and pushing through the trellis net. - Plants are all drinking about 5 gallons every 3 or 4 days. Replenishing with pH’ed water when I notice a significant drop. - Two main shoots are becoming a pain to try to keep at the same level of all the others. LOTS of LST.

Everything on the readings seem well. Plant two seems to be having some kinda nutrition issue. I'm not sure what it is on the first set it leaves. Plant one is seeming to be super strong, healthy, and green. Gonna just keep watching the water levels and ph and keep on trucking.

Whats up everybody cheers to another week of growth for everyone! This week the ladies buds started showing signs of progress. You can see them produce more and more resin every day thanks to the cold weather its really easy to keep a pretty dry environment. Can’t wait to do my final defo next week! Until then stay green!

Day 49 Flip day! Just flipped them to 12/12 took loads of leaves off. Let's see if I've guessed the sex right then 😏 I think I've got 3 fems but people still tell me I want know until I've flipped 🤷‍♂️🏼 Update: Day 50 and day 1 of flower looking very happy will give a nice feed when soil dries out. Lights are now maxed out and on Day 51, day 2 of flower I'm sure all 3 are definitely fems will keep eye on them next few days 👀 Update again: Day 53, Day 4 of flower and they looking beautiful 😍

this plant is in Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil and will get straight de chlorinated tap water til week two veg.
