Hello Diary, It's the end of the first week of vegetation on my little farm. I'm a little late in updating the diary, but I'll try to change that in the future. Vegetation officially starts when the plants get at least 4 leaves, in the case of White Widow it's the same as with her roommates. It's the same case for all three plants, 9 days from when I planted the seeds in the ground, or 5 days from when the plants sprouted. As you can see from the photos, White Widow is making great progress from day one. Although initially one leaf was trapped by the seed coat, which can be seen in the photos, one is more developed than the other. You can see a drastic difference every day, I put photos on the 1st day of vegetation and the 7th day of vegetation and the difference is obvious in those seven days. White Widow - Day 1. - 2.5 cm White Widow - Day 7. - 6 cm Conditions on the farm are not ideal. The summer heat is still unbearable, affecting the temperature in the apartment. When I add Migro Aray 4 to that, the temperature sometimes reaches 32 degrees. I don't see for now that it has a bad effect on the plants, but I would like it if the temperature were lower. The lights are now set at 35 cm from the plants and are dimmed at 40% of their power. The regime is 18/6 from the first day of vegetation. Watering is every three days. I prepare about 4 liters of water, add 1 ml/L Calcium and Magnesium supplement and this week I started adding Bio Grow Fertilizer, a new product from RQS. After all, I lower the pH to 6.0. and with that amount I water all three plants on the farm. Here's a quick recap of the week. 25/07/2024 - Day 1. The official start of the vegetation. Hey yall, Temps were high, but under control now. My girls were droopy despite having moist soil. After a good compost tea they bounced right back. Pistol hairs are showing, haven't grown this specific cultivar before so the bud structure is a but different than others I am familiar with. Let's see what she does moving forward. I am not a super fan of these genetics. Already have new seeds I am ready to start once these ladies are done. Over all the Strawberry Diesel from Beaver Seeds is not a noob grow, you need to have your grow dialed in. And really be careful with PM. I am keeping humidity as low as I cam while still maintaining a decent VPD. Challenges with this strain definitely turns me off. Looking forward to a new cultivar, already have some genetics from Michigan, those cats are really something else, they are hellbent on being better than the West coast. And they are in my humble opinion 😌 ☺️ Pure Michigan looks good, also Honey Sticks Genetics out of Maine is killing it, their Bananaconda 4 tested over 40% total cannabinoids. They want like 3k per cut, so that won't be my next, but looking forward to new genetics nonetheless. Anyways made some new ferments, remember to use equal parts organic sugar, Jaggery is best, that is the closest form of sugar to the sugar cane plant. Cover with paper towel, 2 to 3 days later let gravity give you all that juice, don't squeeze it to get more. Keep that juice in the fridge, that is your food. Then add water to the solids and keep at room temperature for 3 months to make a vinegar. That is your cleanser. Dam we got some frosty ladies developing here! Crazy sweet, jelly berry candy aromas busting out the tent. Had to lower the one light because of issue with power setting. The canopy is a bit of mess, but its expected when growing 7 different phenos. The plants also couldve gone into flower about week earlier. We just installed UVB bulbs for the last weeks, cannot wait to see what that does! Happy days, check yall next week.

One of the plants has a slight pie dough smell, but still very minimal smell when I open the tent. EDIT: the smell is actually making it passed my carbon filter, and I am not sure why it is only 1 of the 2 plants giving off the heavy smell as well. The chunkier/darker colour one is the one that smells real heavy, smells really creamy/doughy. UV/IR has been on for the past few weeks, and will stay on until the end. The plants have gone through a bunch of issues so far, and are still going strong. Gave a tablespoon of power bloom to each, on day 31.

End week 9 Changed the nutrient solution and plucked a couple fan leaves along the way. They look happy and healthy and I'm letting them take over this 5x6 space I usually put 6 ladies in. Excited for the outcome of these plants.

Week2 of flowering and this baby is really stretching. She’s the tallest one in the tent 🏕️. And the smell of mango is great. I had to cut a lot of fan leaves off her for more light penetration. Lot of bud sites, can’t wait to see how she fills out.😎

Fast Buds White Widow is a strain that is easy to grow she can handle some stress if you have issues. She makes a massive bud on the main stem mine was 80 grams freshly trimmed!! She doesn't stretch much if your growing in a confined space. I'll repost what the total is dried and cured and smoke report as well. Smoke Report Update she's Earthy, Piney, with sweat citrus flavors, smooth pull, earthy, piney up front then then that sweat citrus when you exhale, really clean and smooth enjoyably smoke hits you quickly and then mellows out she has the ability to change your motivation level but not put you on the couch the rest of the day or night for the most part!!! 70% Indica 30% sativa. The total weight of the grow of 535 grams wet weight, when dried out to it was a total of 178 grams dry. That's a loss of 67% of the weight. She's a plant with thricomes that cover the fat, stinky, and sticky buds. I didn't have any problems with her. She can take some nuts for a autoflower as she never showed any signs of nutrition stress. Easy grow, strong plant, dense sticky buds, she smells sweat with a earthy note. I would recommend to any grower new grower you really can't mess her up, advanced grower she will give you a great harvest.
