Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

7/3/25 She is doing great, really happy with her growth the past 2 weeks. The watertemp is a little to high for my liking but I have no AC and we have to manage with the temps for another few days. It doesnt seem to bother her. Every 10 days I do a res change. Feeding is at 50% strength still and the roots are looking very good. 7/7/25 Aaaaaaand she is taking off. Stem is getting thicc and strong and the roots are healthy and shiny white. 7/10/25 Doing very well! Lots of new growth. Glnna flip in a week or two.

As we continue to thread on this amazing journey together, here’s to week 8. 🥂 Our lady has stopped stretching and started bulking. The smell each time I pick her up is insane! A real Tropicana tree 😍 She’s drinking more and I can see a slight change in bud color. Before harvest I’m aiming for amber trichomes and yellowing leaves so I’m getting my jeweler’s loop ready 🔎 This run has been pretty informative, I’m grateful for the skill and knowledge learned along the way. Week 9 should be interesting, let’s go 💚

So far I've had two plants pop out from the 8 seeds I threw in the soil (2-30 gallon pots). A ninth seed was germinated later in the season. These are seeds I obtained from the Grease Monkey OG clone I grew last year. I don't mind getting a few seeds from the bees pollinating my plants. I can't say how good that strain is; I recommend it to everyone. I'm happy to have some cross-pollinated offspring. The soil is mostly FFOF, Happy Frog, Roots Organics, some worm castings, worms and whatever has been living in the soil. I recycle my soil and just add more stuff when necessary. I'll try and keep updates this season.

6.4.25: FastBuds Mystery Seed #1: She has been topped twice and is looking pretty strong 💪 She has grown vertically, and leaves are always praying. Possibly too much light, so I have turned the dimmer down to about 90%. There are slight bleached tips on a couple of top leaves. I'm hoping to do the same LST with garden wire here very soon. Overall, the plant has nice big, fat leaves. Seemingly lush colour and vigorously growing since the double toppings. Very nice plant so far. 👌 13.4.25: This week has been so busy in the garden! I forgot to take any notes, so I'll see what I can do from memory! 😅 14.4.25: I have been super busy with all the other harvests in the past several days, so this is a little late. FastBuds Mystery seed #1 has been topped twice and the growth has been thick and lush. I watered several times this week, and I used Ecothrive Biosys with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I watered about 2 litres to each plant. I have been using wire, clips, and Bio stretch fabric plant ties to LST the plant. The plant has reached the 8 Gallon pot perimeter. The plant is in the first week of flower. I'm hoping to keep the canopy even with my RQS Northern Lights grow as I need to be able to compare the plants accurately for the experiments. I did snap off a branch, again the day after I said I'd be very careful 😖 The plant is very resilient though, and you wouldn't know anything happened at all, minus one of the first tops is missing. Thankfully I topped twice, so I still have 5 tops. Training Techniques used this week are LST and defoliation. I watered on 13th and 14th with the following solution; 4 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 8 ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 1/2 Teaspoon Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. PPM: 1000. 2 litres were given on two consecutive days. I watered in a top dress, which I will add what I used here, but it was another mess up, I'm sure you'll be surprised to hear 😅 Top dress: 4 gallons containing approximately: 50% Canna Terra Mix soil 25% Worm Castings 23% Perlite 2% Organic Dry Amendments, which were; ☆ Ecothrive Life Cycle ☆ Ecothrive Charge ☆ Diatomaceous Earth ☆ Ground Cinnamon ☆ RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules I used the top dress amount for established plants for a pot size of 30L / 8 Gallons. I'm not keen on the soil. I was supposed to get Canna Coco but I got sent Canna Terra in error. It was overdue for a top dress and I had nothing else to use. I don't like it in comparison. Great week, more growth and the girl scout cookies is looking f*cking frosty! The Purple Lemonade is packing on the weight. The Zkittlez is almost ready and the Orange Sherbet is definitely getting there slowly. 01/08/18 - I fed them all 1 litre each, one of them seems to be praying up but the other two Seem a little bit droopy still. 02/08/18 - #3 is praying like usual and the other two are getting better Day by day I’m going to be giving them another feeding tomorrow, I have seen roots stretching out to the sides of the pots so I might saturate the whole pot. 04/08/18 - horrible sight today looks like rusty cracks in some leaves , not got a clue what this. 05/08/18 - browning has continued since last night and it’s all on the new leafs not the older ones. i fed them without any calmag , so I think it could be a deficiency of some sort (cal/mag).the mad thing is, it’s only two of the girls, one of them is completely fine nice green leaves not yellow marks that turn orange/brown. It definitely has nothing to do with my ph or all three girls would be showing some symptoms seeing as they all get fed with the same soloution.✌️🏻 07/08/18 - everything’s cleared up their was slight nute burn in the process but everything seems a lot better so I decided to start LST. all the new leaves are the colour they should be with no nute burns or calcium deficiency 🙏🏻

Day 19-26 (May 10th - May 17th) (Day 21) Stretch is almost over and the plants still look like they’re in veg. I’m seeing almost zero trichomes and when compared to my other room it’s laughable. At least the sites are starting to fill in a little. One plant is super leggy and stretchy. I’m guessing it’s Jack Herer but won’t know until late flower or harvest. The plant in the far left corner has great structure and thick pistil clumps. I’m guessing it’s either blueberry or the white og. Blueberry has a pretty distinct smell so differentiating all the strains won’t be that hard actually. (Day 24) I’ve been rearranging the plants once in a while just to get all sides exposed to some decent light. I never realized how much I value my LED until this run. The only way I would ever use another hps for flower is if it was one of those 1000w DE lights that all the commercial grows use. Sites are starting to fill in quite a bit now. Trichomes are still non existent though. Even on the archive genetics which is really surprising. (Day 25) Pots somewhat dried out finally. Tomorrow I’m going to leach everything with another 2 liters each and top dress with 15ml of nature’s pride bloom, 10ml of Destiny launch and 5ml of kelp meal. I’m starting to see minor N tox on some of the plants so I will probably give them a full gallon. This tent is largely experimental so I’m going to fuck with these plants pretty heavy to iron out some theories and try some new techniques. (Day 26) When I was watering today I noticed that slurricane, Puro loco and guava cake all hermed. The archives just got too stressed out in early veg I think. When I dug up both plants they were still being choked out by the sponge aerogarden plugs. Puro Loco was leading by far in the trichome department too. The guava cake was from a hermed bagseed so it’s not surprising at all but that kind of pisses me off about the “elite” Archive genetics, especially if you paid 200$ for a 10 pack. Then again, it was still my error and not their genetics. Luckily I didn’t pay a dime for them. Running those was a complete waste of time and space. With proper environment and no seedling stress I’m sure I could have grown some amazing looking stuff. All the European and Canadian genes look fine though. I’m sure they would have filled out a lot more if they weren’t being choked out by hermies. No signs of bananas anywhere else. Hopefully the 4 slurricanes I have outdoor this year will pull through without herming.

Buds are starting to really stack up. Especially on the blue Cookies. The zombie kush plants are also looking really good but the size and also the color isn't as nice. The one blue Cookies plant that is turning purple tho is throwing me off because the blue Cookies plant doesn't turn purple. From what I can see from crop king is that platinum cookies and purple kush are the only ones that turn purple like this so I'm not sure if it's just a genetic freak or a different strain. The platinum og plants tho still look worse for wear and not getting much better. Hopefully they end with something tho. Well that's all for now so happy growing.

We are at week 3 now. A lot of development, i have not used liquid nutes this week, it is raining a lot so no water needed, thus no liquid nutrients. I have top feed of dry nutrients mix, basically a mixture of a super soil recipe that usually is used within to make a hot soil: I mix all tue ingredients together and use it gradually about 40g as a powder, in the top of the soil. - Azomite 500g - Natural fosfate 500g - Biochar 1kg - Bokashi 1kg -Kelp meal 500g -Mamona meal 1kg -chicken meal 1kg -Potassium silicate 500g -Gypsum farm 500g -Diatomaceous earth 500g Mix all keep it in a soil bag, this pure mix and use it once every month. The companion plants have emerged and will protect the soil humidity mainly.
