Week 4 for the strawberry gorilla from fastbuds 420 All good so far, we continue to apply addictives from xpert nutrients and add some more bloom nutrients as some of the girls are demanding a little more bloom nutrients. All good so far and not much more weeks to go, lets see of the girls continue to swollen up a bit more

Plant was chugging in the last couple days as seen in raising EC and lowering PH but I found a single bud with mold in it so I removed it and and harvested on day 76 from sprout. One of the reasons I prefer longer stretched plants compared to small stubby ones is the bud size, they were grown so much in to one another that air flow was very restricted. Values are average of the day. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Normally I allow two days in the paper towel germination. This one after only 24 hours.

Week 8 Into the 9th week now, getting real close. The final feed until flush. It has gotten a little cooler however, temps are still in the high 20's and humidity is 70ish. The Pineapples are shapping up very nicely. I walk up to the solarium and i'm hit by a wall of stinkin bud, it's delicious 😋 These aphids are very persistent however, i'm keeping them down to a minimum and with the time left i'm not concerned. PE1 should be ready on time however, PE2 isn't maturing as quickly and may need a little more but, even though she doesn't have quite the height as her sibling she's getting chubby. The lemonade is a chunky little thing, she looks very dense. I now get a hint of homemade lemonade in there as she's maturing which is very cool. Pistils are browning quite quickly... steady now, mustn't get too excited 😁

Alimentacao das Royal Cheeses (21/07/2021) - usei 3L para as duas: BioGrow - 1,8 ml ; BioHeaven - 2 ml; Activera - 1ml; CalMag - 0,3 ml; E.C = 0,37 /pH = 6,3 - Na próxima semana irei adicionar o BioBloom Alimentação da Royal Gorilla #2 (21/07/2021) - 1,5L BioGrow - 1 ml; BioHeaven - 1ml; Activera - 1ml; CalMag - 0,5 ml; E.C = 0,41 / pH 6,3 Embora o seu desenvolvimento esteja um pouco estranho, ja apareceram os primeiros pistilios. Os ramos da planta parecem fracos quando tentei fazer LST apenas com as maos, por isso nao irei realizar qualquer treino nesta, vou deixar crescer naturalmente para ver no que dá. Another week down look at that canopy 😍 I think the stretch has finished and there’s no need for the second net so it’s come down. Not a lot a work this week a bit of defo and top dressing. Yeah for the first time this grow no a lot to say I guess……. Till next week let get it 💪🏽

Ok just finnished a blunt of this a out an hour ago, and I do not smoke blunts lol But it seems only right too do a real smoked reveiw , So the fbt7 has been dry now for about 2 weeks and in a jar and today was the day too take the first bud too try so I rolled a fat one " fat one in photos lol , So for me the flavour just isn't there yet and am hoping that will come after a cure , So I smoked this all too my self and qiukly , Within a few minutes I went white as a ghost as was twitching the the corner hehehe, This is very strong bud and I would go as far as saying it's probably the strongest bud I've had in years , I am what I would describe as a joker smoker , as I turn my bud into oils and do not smoke it , But any serious cannabis smoker will absolutely love this strain , Well done fast buds and thank you :)

Temps and humidity are getting up there and harder to control. Equipment is working harder to keep cool. Heatwave forecasted for next week:( Got old lights switched out for new Mars TS series:) Ladies might need to be watered everyday soon as they are taking a lot more every other day. Don’t want them to dry out to much. Added some mulch to help with the top layer from drying right out between waterings. Want to keep the top alive and not die off as the sides of the pot also dry up and really only the centre stays healthy between waterings. That’s why I have now decided in future grows that I’ll being going with large pots, like 30-45 gallon and fewer plants, maybe 1-2 and grow longer for bigger roots!

Week 9 - Day 59 (from seed) Tropicana Cookies Auto by Fast Buds Update: Yesterday I watered her with 5ml Plagron Green Sensation and 6ml of Bud Candy in 2 liters of distilled water. No pH adjustment. This should help push the buds a bit more in this final phase. Plant status: She’s stacking up nicely! Buds are really starting to swell and fill out, especially around the main cola. There’s a heavy coating of trichomes — mostly milky with just a few clears left, no amber yet from what I can see. The sugar leaves have a nice frost to them and the aroma is getting stronger each day — very sweet and fruity. Leaves are mostly healthy, although a few of the older fan leaves are starting to fade, which is expected at this stage. No major signs of deficiency or stress. I think she’s entering her final push. Based on trichome development and overall appearance, I’d estimate maybe 10–14 days left. I’ll likely start the flush in 3-4 days unless I see amber trichomes sooner. Any thoughts or feedback are welcome — feel free to check the trichome pics and let me know what you’d do!

These two plants have given me the experience and the desire to do even better! Next genetics I thought I would bring another pure Indica...
