5-24-20: Lower leafs are falling off from lack of light. Almost panicked and doused her with nutrients but thought twice. Remembered what happened last time with last plant, and results were N burn. Shes looking nice and healthy overall. Good covering of trichomes and only small bump was a calcium deficiency that showed in about 4 or 5 leafs. Disappeared as fast as i noticed it and didnt take any action because no other leafs were affected and havent noticed a change since.

Dia 134 y semana 6 de floración,ultimo dia de vida de las plantas. Este año ha sido un poco raro las plantas han crecido como monstruos tuvieron un crecimiento espectacular un tallo muy grande y junto con sus ramas flexibles y muy resistentes. Pero al llegar el engorde de floración no se porque les falto el empujon final para hinchar el cogollo, tiene muy buena pinta , mucha resina y muy fuerte buen olor pero me esperaba mas en la fase final. Cortamos ya que tambien habian orugas y no terminaba de eliminarlas por completo, la semana que viene era entera de lluvias así que decidi cortar un poco mas temprano para poder prevenir cualquier mal mayor, hay mucha gente que le gusta cortar antes de tiempo ya que el efecto es muy diferente, este año probaremos que tal.

So I was in week 2 with the Cream Mandarin when I realized I was not happy with her growth for what I want her to do, and it was totally my fault, and not the Breeder, so I decided to re-start as to represent Sweet Seeds properly as they have sent me pretty much whatever I have requested. I was attempting to start seeds in coco coir, which was very tough to satisfy the coco with Cal-mag and not burn the seedlings in the process. So I started using ProMix seedling starter and have been very happy with it so far. The other issue I ran into was satisfying the humidity levels for my seedlings, and also keeping my flowering auto happy. So, my final decision was to purchase a small 2x2 tent to double as a seedling tent and a drying tent. I hooked up a little 4 inch exhaust fan, put a heat mat on the floor, a small fan, and a Spider Farmer SF1000, a hydrometer, and a humidifier which is keeping it around 70% RH even with the little exhaust fan running 24/7. The toughest part of learning to grow Cannabis for me has been days 3-17. Once I get there I seem to be good. If anyone has any tips please hit me up. Thanks for stopping by, be safe, and Blaze On!

First week of flower has come and gone. Had a slight PH problem in the ladies that with a little help from some growmies we got it fixed just before they started the stretch faze. Now I've done a small defol just to get rid of some bigger fan leafs blocking the lower growth. And cut out anything that was hindered from the dominant branches.. she should get one last defol in two weeks. And will be starting the PK regiment after next week.

Had major struggles with humidity due to cold front, but got it in somewhat better ranges. My planet of the grapes started wilted/ drooping mid week [other strains were fine]. Did some research and it turned out they needed more water.[ I normally water every other day, feed every second feed and I top dressed before flipping].I fed them, got the humidity back in acceptable ranges. I also gave them some tea [molasses, banana peels, Gaia green bloom,all purpose and worm castings] They seem to be happier. Very eager to defoliate at end of this week been taking few leaves here and there but nothing crazy. Decided to build a suspended 2ply scrog net seems to be working great. Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. No more than 3 leaves removed per plant, per day to avoid stress. ______________________________________ Can't wait to start upgrading the quality of my journals and to hear you all's feedback! Sorry for being so hectic the past week or so if anyone has been keeping up with this 😂 For the time being, I'm currently running all three sets of my plants in my 4x4 tent. It's running all three of my fans, both lights and has the carbon filter system and humidifier hooked up to it as well. I basically have the other 4x2 just sitting as a shell for the moment. Either planning to save it for climate control when curing the first harvest or sell it to invest in another Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED or equivalent and possibly another 4x4 tent. I have started a grow chart that's still a little sketchy but if nothing else having it here hells me keep up with it that much better. The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! I hope you enjoy the diary anyway in spite of the fact. I'm loving the look of the buds and everything seems to be going great. Only a few months to go! 😎

Harvest day, you’d think I’d be excited and I was until last night. I’ve had to have my oldest Cat put down due to health reason 😿 I almost can’t be bothered to do this update, but here I am 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ it’s only one more entry. I harvested this plant at day 58 of flower, it feels like she matured and finished quite fast, always a good trait. Her buds are rock solid to the touch and almost wet with trichomes, if that makes sense?! I took some pictures just prior to harvesting her. She’s now hanging on a peg hanger in my drying tent, cut into individual branches. She took barely any time all all to trim, she’s got a high bud to leaf ratio and everything I cut off will be dried, frozen and sifted to make Rosin. No waste at all. I aim to dry between 10-14 days, I generally keep the RH around 55% and the temp fluctuates around 18*C. She’s been an easy plant to grow and I’d recommend these genetics, In House have really outdone themselves with this one! I don’t usually do this, but I’m dedicating this grow to my late Cat Poochim. (I’ve added some pictures of him) I got him when he was a little kitten and I was just a teenager, 20 years later and I’ve had to say goodbye to a very old friend 🖤

A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.

Performed some light lst and topped all plants, then feed some recharge. They bounced back pretty fast they didn’t show no signs of stress so that’s a good thing. I’m give them one more week in the 1 gallons and then transplant to 3 gallon Keep up this grow is epic

Unfortunately, the situation forced me to start induction and flowering earlier, but the girl is so strong that she is doing great ! She caught up with her friends without any problems, I think she will catch up without any problems.

Kweekverslag Week 3: Serious Happiness van Serious Seeds Datum: 18 maart 2025 Kweekomgeving: Binnenkweek, LED-verlichting, temperatuur 21°C, luchtvochtigheid 51% Welkom bij ons kweekverslag van week 3, waarin we de voortgang van onze Serious Happiness van Serious Seeds volgen. Deze hybride strain, bekend om zijn gelukkige en opbeurende effecten, maakt het kweken tot een waar genoegen. Groei en ontwikkeling: In de derde week zien we duidelijk dat onze planten goed reageren op de verzorging die ze tot nu toe hebben gekregen. De stelen zijn stevig en de bladeren vertonen een mooie, gezonde groene kleur. Er is een aanzienlijke toename in hoogte, met een gemiddelde groei van 10 cm deze week. We hebben de planten goed afgebroken om de ruimte te geven voor zijtakken, wat de komende weken zal bijdragen aan een vollere plant. Voeding: Deze week hebben we onze voedingsschema's aangepast, met een focus op stikstofrijke meststoffen om de vegetatieve groei te bevorderen. De planten lijken goed te reageren op de voeding; we zien een sterke groei en grote bladeren, wat een teken is van een gezonde fotosynthese. Licht en omgeving: De LED-verlichting is ingesteld op een cyclus van 18 uur licht en 6 uur duisternis. Deze instelling blijft optimaal voor de vegetatieve fase. De ventilatie is consistent, en we zorgen ervoor dat de luchtvochtigheid binnen het ideale bereik blijft – niet te hoog, om schimmelvorming te voorkomen. Kijk vooruit: Met een goede basis in week 3 kijken we vol vertrouwen naar de komende weken. We bereiden ons voor op de overgang naar de bloeifase, wat betekent dat we binnenkort onze lichtcyclus zullen aanpassen en wat veranderingen in voeding zullen aanbrengen. We verwachten dat de planten zich in de volgende weken verder ontwikkelen en hopelijk ons zullen belonen met prachtige toppen. Conclusie: Serious Happiness heeft zijn naam zeker waar gemaakt tot nu toe. Het kweken van deze strain is een fijne ervaring, en we zijn enthousiast om te zien hoe ze zich verder zal ontwikkelen.
