Lemon Cake week 18 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring the ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. Thanks for the visits, likes and comments, I appreciate all the plant love💚. This week has been one of great gains in both size and vegetation we have seen a vertical leap in two plants that is astronomical almost 4 inches in a week! Had to do some pruning to expose new bud and a little bit of low stress training on to plants to see if we can expose light to the underside and perhaps get a little more love out of our lower buds The stalk size on almost all of these plants is almost as big as your thumb but on one it is actually relatively skinny that is the one we’re doing the low stress training on we just started the low stress training and it is taking very well to it One of these plants is extremely dark in color on the vegetation and has typically about 11 fingers per leaf! Not sure what that means yet

Well week 2 is here and gone. the dark devils are not as big as the red poisons but that doesn't mean much at the moment. we still got lots of weeks to go and the wicking buckets look like they are doing their job. I am going to let the dark devils dry out a bit before I refill the reservoir. to see if the water is too much for that strain as it is the first time growing it. so, looking good so far, they are healthy for now no signs of hunger just water when needed at this point and look for signs of lock out or feeding issues cheers ya'all,

Day 77) 12/9 End of another week. Phone is fixed and pics are back. Day 74,75,76 there were no pics due to f'ked up phone but day 77 now has pics. This girl is doing well and still growing taller but I can tell she's at the end of her stretch. Flowers are smelling very sweet like berry and a hint of pine and candy and just sticky as hell. Buds are elongating up and down the stem with a nice 12-15 inch length but buds are forming and fattening slowly, could be the sativa side of her. Still drinking a gallon a water 💦 a day with nutes. Daily temps and humidity fluctuations may be a cause of slow bud growth and it may be my fault for trying too hard to keep environment inside tent and outside tent to the exact same but in reality according to natural science and popular findings it's evident that a swing in these conditions of not much more than 10 degrees/percent is expected between light and dark (silly me!) So I will let nature take its course but will be very watchful. Hope u all are still watching and taking a peek now and again. Happy Growing and Happy Harvesting

4/9/25 This plant is beyond frosty. Stacking up super nicely. Seems like she will yeild quite a bit. My only gripe is that she has like no smell at all. Using the foil as a soil cover is working quite nicely. the top soil is getting filled with roots quite well. Top dressed 1tsp of Bloom 1tsp microbe charge 1tsp bloom

Giorno 2 bene ragazzi ho già notato che le ragazze si stanno allungando, sono in forma e non vedo l'ora di vederle a fine settimana. Giorno 3 annaffiata con 2,5L di acqua Giorno 4 defogliazione e lollipop, dopo una settimana circa ho tolto la fasciatura dalla spaccatura del ramo centrale, che cambiamento!

Gorilla Zkittles going down friday looks awesome! Gelato is gonna get one more time nutes and then to flush till day 70. Pretty happy with these.. Gelato smells like blueberries and GoZKi has that fruity dank smell nice 😋

This strain was a lot of fun to grow, Training was easy, it responded well and rolled with the punches, She was CalMag hungry as that as my only noted deficiency. She was chopped at day 69, would have been 70 but I had mothers day plans with the Ol' lady. The wet weight is everything but the bigger fan leaves (larf galore) I had so much trim. I love the smell I loved growing it, but I do not like how airy the buds turned out, I use quality LEDs and have a white widow in another journal that grew along side it under the same conditions, even the same trainings to the point where there structured extremely similarly, and the White Widow is ROCK SOLID. BUT with that being said, the trichome production was very nice, the sugar leaves will leave me with a lot of hash (half the buds were considered larf but were so sticky and covered in trichomes) and the smell is very sweet, berries and a hint of lemonaid and must. Keep in mind this is a taste after just a couple days of drying a sample bud and no cure. Overall its definitely smokable ill probably give some out but I would rather keep the airy stuff for me to smoke/process because I love it all. I am currently taking the week as a T-break so I can give everyone here a proper smoke report, including myself. Dry bud weight is only 51g BUT all the trim did get me a couple of grams, probably 3 of some incredible hash, The Hash taste like blueberry pie and a glass of lemonaid, the flower is similar but with a bit of a musky punch, the high hit me straight in the head and had me laughing at myself for getting so stoned, literally all i wanted was that pie and lemonaid that's all that I had on my mind. after a bit it mellowed out into a nice relaxing sativa feel, I wasn't nearly as full of energy but I was by no means tired either.
