This week they just got CaliMagic with daily waterings until runoff. Nutes will start at quarter strength tonight. If righty doesn't start catching up I may scrap her and focus all the energy on lefty. Thanks for looking!
2 weeks from seed. Off to a slow start but no big deal. I started off in to big of a container. I've heard some have success starting in their final home but I think next time I will transplant at least once from a solo cup. However, we are still green and growing daily so that's all that matters. Lefty is still a day or so ahead of Righty but both seem happy. My runoff is a little high around 6.7 so I've been watering at 5.5 to avoid having to flush. I read this is a safe alternative to flushing, watering daily at a low end Ph will lower runoff over a couple of weeks without stressing the plant.
A lot of growth this week! I was getting worried there for awhile but not anymore. At this rate we should be ready to top tomorrow or Monday. I will say anyone new to hydro, grow in Coco first, then move on to DWC or something along those lines. I went with DWC first and made it to harvest just fine but I made plenty of mistakes that I'm sure hurt my final yields. Coco is much more forgiving and requires very little maintenance. Thanks for looking!
Not much to report. Pics are 4 days from the topping. They seem to be responding well. Hopefully in another week the 2 mains will be long enough to feed into the trellis and I will switch to flower. Thanks for looking!
Unfortunately I had to scrap the SCRoG this week. These girls are just to different from each other for me to be confident in a SCRoG attempt. Lefty is short, thick, and bushy. Righty is really stretching out with longer stems. However I still have what I know and love, LST. As you can see they are still in that awkward stage of LST just waiting for the stretch. This morning marks the first full day of 12/12 so the stretch isn't far off. Thanks for looking!
Righty is obviously the shining star but both girls filled out great this week. I do have one question, how long after the switch will I see pistils emerge from the calyxes? This is my first run with a photo. Thanks for looking!
So Righty is still the better of the 2. Really starting to flower and letting the lowers shine. Lefty on the other hand does not have that vigorous growth and everything low on her was just going to be popcorn so I took her down to 8 mains. I don't want her wasting energy on larf bud. It's crazy how different they are growing under the exact same conditions. Runoff is 1 point different, Lefty:5.9 Righty:6.0, so I think it's just the way she was meant to grow.
Buds really started coming in on both girls this week. Righty is still miles ahead of Lefty but Lefty is already starting frost up so I'm thinking I'll still get good quality out of her. It looked like Righty was fitting to start the stretch this morning compared to when I saw her last night so expect a whole different plant next week. Thanks for looking!
Lefty is just a bonus plant at this point but Righty put on some serious size in nugs over the past week. It's suppose to be a fast flowering strain so I'm expecting her to really fatten up over the next couple weeks. Thanks for looking!
Things are going smooth. Buds are starting g to fatten up. Unfortunately, I go on vacation the second week in February so I'm hoping they'll be in the window within 3 weeks so I can dry and jar them before I leave.
Things are going smooth. Buds are still stacking up. I added another Viparspectra par600 last night so I'm hoping that will finish these ladies up nicely. I only have another 3 weeks before I'm going to be forced to harvest before leaving town, so hopefully I'll be in the early part of the window.
Another week just fattening up. Runoff dipped a little low this week causing some yellowing but its been handled. That 2nd led did take the temps up around 6-8 degrees. I'm waiting on the lowers to mature on the larger girl before I start the flush probably around Wednesday. The other looks a lot farther behind and I don't know why.
Harvested the second plant. She was smaller bud her buds were STACKED. She is 164g wet so let's hope for an oz. UPDATE: 1.4oz out of the smaller plant for a total of 3.5 oz for the whole grow. Thanks for following along everyone!
