I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring yhe ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. buds starting to get shape and trichs coming in nice. the blueberry muffin has such a unique berry pastry smell. no dank weed smell at all. the khalifa mintz x (bcc x jealousy) is still pretty gassy, with stronger fruit profiles on both strains now that the buds are starting to get fuller. update in a bother 2-3 weeks lol.

Still in the HPS tent but now they are under the LED again and doing pretty well as the roots are filling the pots out they are eating faster. Did a couple foliar feeds with the Growzyme at less than 1 ML/Gal which they seem to like. Hoping to get a little more vertical growth before they kick into flower. Also been doing some bottom feeding which I have been experimenting with a little bit. It seems to increase rate of growth and the plants seem a little happier when I do a few feeds like that in a row. Nice plants 2 totally different phenotypes, as one was already harvested, and the other isn't even half way of flowering after 10 weeks. Nice trichome production, great fresh and fruity smell, this plant is a pleasure to smoke in the end of the day. Dried her upside down hanging in a tent I have for the purpose, at 25c, 30%RH - Only removed fan leaves, no manicuring, been doing that as I smoke, noticed the bud lasts longer and with a better smell and you end up saving loads of time. Really happy with this smoke, smells like proper weed. Maybe was the best time I dried and cure(ing). Only problem is that I'm smoking more as it's so tasty ahaha. Good stuff, thumbs up! PS - I'll start looking for the "original" Zkittlez to try out and check the differences between them. Update: 12 April 2021 - Chopped down Plant #2 So, finally Saturday I chopped her down. She looked now ready and delicious, although I only notice yesterday how many seeds she has allover the place. She hermied in front of me without noticing, not good at all and need to start looking much better and in detail into the plants. Feel like an idiot now. Anyways, it was a full week! Emptied the grinder collector and pressed it down a little, makes a very nice smoke, light but pleasant, the kind of stuff it keep you going all day without the dumb effect. From all trimming made the bubble hash. Got a little too green as the 220micron bag's stitches slightly opened letting some contaminants in the final mix, hence the green color. This was a hit. in opposition to the grinder stuff, this sent me straight to the moon, really heavy stone effect, even thinking was hard. Reminded me those afghan/ moroccan balls we used to get back in the early 2000's. The weed itself it's still drying so the smoke report will be updated in there. 715g of fresh cut plant is good, let's see the potency and the seeds. Might turn it all into bubble hash, if I see it'll be an hassle to remove seeds. On an earlier bud I've cut and dried, smoked it and you can see pure white ashes in the bong. Ain't that a beauty?

Patiently waiting for these girls to begin their final descent! Gonna be some monster plants! Momster buds!!! Steady on my nutrient schedule this week and she made some big gains!!!

Each 1L jar has exactly 28g, it took a long time to sort through this. I think I left them hanging for maybe 6-12 hours too long as the RH in a lot of the jars are below 55% (target is 62%). Some remedial action was taken, and I cut off small pieces of the main stem or trunk from the left over carcasses which has successfully brought the RH back up over 60%. The hash I made from dry ice and 160 micron bubble bags is on a whole other level, I have added a video close up of the pucks I made with a pollen press, almost 0 leaf matter! - This actually might be my new favourite way of smoking weed, hash on the common market is low quality and full of plant matter. I ran her low on EC for the entire grow, using the Botanicare KIND range. Max EC was about 1.8 - but averaged between 1.2 and 1.6 throughout most of the flowering cycle. This grow beats the hell out of my first, and I hope it wasn't just a lucky fluke! I ran the same lights, 2 x 315w Euro Style CMH fixtures. Sadly I don’t have pictures from the final bloom stage because she produced much bigger colas then on the Red Bull pictures at the end right now before the Harvest,a good yielder and good for both experts and new Growmies

Day 43: Smells ultra-strong in tent. I didn't know plants could smell like they are at this stage!👍 Found out I was under dosing the h2o2. Upped the dose and am now hoping for the best Day 45: Bud development is strong!!💪 Can't wait to see how hard the plant will let me push cola size.

Day 58 Update: Watered both plants with 3/4gal until runoff. Water was dosed with Terpinator at 15ml/gal. I will start the flush on Plant #1 next watering. Added a stake and a plant yoyo to Plant #2 to support the heavier branches. Day 62 Update: Starting flush on Plant #1. Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Plant #2's water was dosed with 3/4tsp of Big Bloom, 1/4tsp of Grow Big, and 1/4tsp of Tiger Bloom. Plant #1's water is just plain pH balanced water. I will start watering every 3 days now. I will start the flush on Plant #2 after one more nutrient watering.

This was an explosive growth week, usually always is for me between week 3 & 4 is where I see the outcome of the early LST at week 3 which in most cases I doubt myself still to this day. If you look at day 15 she looks like she’s been through some weird transformation. Now here we are exactly the outcome I was expecting. By the formation and structure of this beauty, I can already say she will be a beast. I’ve now LST all other tops and will ensure to keep an even canopy with regards to height and remove foliage that inhibits lower sites from receiving adequate lighting. I prefer having 80% top tier AAA grade cannabis by using this technic (will requires lollipopping and removing lower nods in 2 weeks time) then having bigger yields but more popcorn buds, less density etc. Week 5 will see the introduction of Liquid Weight (natural sugars) to aid with the flower formation, essential carbohydrates the plant needs for good bud development. Pre-flowers have started but I will maintain Veg nutrients for now and switch the Bloom once the flowering is more prominent.

I’ve been dealing with an undiagnosed issue presenting with discoloured leaves. The buds however do not seem bothered as they develop happily or at least they appear to. On day 77 of WW I noticed cloudy trichomes! This is strange however as they are only in week 6 of flower. Not sure how long the cloudy to amber transition is but crop king notes an 8 week flower while growers report 8-10 weeks.

Critical purple #1 is all that remains in this grow. Prob another week. Today she is 85 days old and in week 7 of flower. Here's her schedule 4 the week... 11/21/21 Watered critical purple #1 1ml ph down Ph 6.38 180 Ppm Solution temp 72.4°f 11/25/21 Watered critical purple #1 1ml ph down Ph 6.39 182 Ppm Solution temp 73.6°f So for some reason I put two plants for each strain but tits only letting me log one so I will be adding up and doing both plants in a lump sum so my harvest weights will change.
