My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. While the sativa variety of cannabis is widely known for producing more of a mental, cerebral high, and indica has a reputation for contributing more toward its physical high, other factors are more important to consider: THC is the compound given most of the credit for that head high, with CBD takes the credit for marijuana's many proven medicinal benefits, which range vastly from relieving pain, anxiety, migraines, fibromyalgia and even mad cow disease to easing many of the most deleterious symptoms of AIDS, diabetes, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. There are other strains with very little THC and more CBD than Painkiller XL , but rare are such splendid balances. Producers of this strain say it produces a considerable amount of pain relief, with a mild, relieving mental euphoria. With a flowering time of eight weeks, the Painkiller XL seed can produce 525 to 575 grams per plant indoors. Inside, the dried yield is 400 to 450 grams per plant. The new pH-meter showed 8.1 in my regular tapwater, way too high. So now the buds has started to grow again, they were purple earlier and now since she got water and nutes with right pH-level, the buds are turning back to green. And I also added some more nutes to her menu, 2018-02-03 Added some pics of the grow room after I cleaned the floor and putting the girls back in, and also added a video of the reality of a grower having some problems with too high pH-level. Since I'm still a novice growing cannabis I learn new things everyday, and hopefully the next round will be more or less perfect - perfection needs practice.

This is the final week right before the harvest. I am very pleased with the results. I am also glad that Spider Mite problems ceased once and for all with the harvest :)

Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.

So we are 8 weeks +1 day here now, around 8 days into flush and 6 days away from chop. I’m guna cut these at 9weeks so they will probably get another 2/3 heavy waters and then 48hours of darkness. Really starting to pack on weight now I had to support all branches as much as I could with bamboo and garden ties. I sampled a bud I took when I first started flush at around 7 weeks and it was so smooth and creamy. Real nice fruity and zesty taste to it. Smelled of fresh lemons with a hint of grapefruit. High wasn’t heavy as expected being so early but certainly felt a relaxation effect 1 hour after smoke so really excited for finished product. Just counting down the days now!!

Lets start new experiment Try to minimize effort and No1 will get Bionova...only 2 different bottles...at veg only one No2 will get the full range from CANNA Of course both will get some calmag, too. Nutrients support will start at week one...with low ec 0.7 -0.8...will need destiled water as well

Bueno, en el inicio de la fase de floración, hemos cambiado la solución nutritiva con ml x ltr , metí la red scrog y he notado que esta cepa se estresa con facilidad, tras el cambio de agua y nutrientes y la red quedaron full stress, poverine... Empiezan el fotoperiodo con mucho olor a vegetal y esto me hace temer que tendrán mucho olor los futuros cogollos... esperemos tener suerte también en este cultivo. Estoy muy contento, no pensé que gracias a ZOE SPACECAKE me iba a apasionar tanto cultivar el cannabis.

Blue dream begins her flushing! She's got about 5 % trichomes and a very nice fruity citrus smell. Buds are decent size and the plant looks happy. Very excited to smoke this round 2 run of Blue Dream. It's the final countdown to harvest! Thanks for taking a look at my grow! 👽🌳

Did the final defoliation to reveal all the buds to the light, flowers are getting super dense and a lot bigger, trichomes are starting to appear. Not an intensive smell but still deeply fruity, she is really good looking and calyxes are turning red and purple.

I have transplanted into Dutch buckets. Filled with perlite. And all are now in the Greenhouse. Doing great. These are watered 4 times a day for 1 minute. She is doing great after the transplant.

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time.
