Entering bulk phase now, gave them another round of microorganisms and molasses, they wouldn't have needed it. Looking great with just water (not even pH correction). Feels a bit wrong, coming from salts, but the plants are happy.. Weird top on the AGO, looks stunted, like it topped itself. Minor Thrips damage, but nothing to worry about at this stage. I will be gone for 10 days and someone else is looking after the plants 😬 so next update will have to wait until I come back.

Malgré les erreurs commises la culture suit son cours, cependant je pensais commencer mes deux semaines de rinçage mais étant ma première culture, j’ai préféré observer l’avancer des trichomes à l’aide de microscope et lentille macro se fixant sur son smartphone, la prise en main étant plus aisé, j’ai pu me rendre compte que la majorité était translucide, j’ai donc décidé de faire une semaine d’engrais supplémentaires. Ce qui est plaisant, c’est de travailler près de ces filles, on plaque de partout et l’odeur, je vous raconte pas...

So, another diary and another grow! I have made quite a few changes this time to try and mitigate some of the issues I ran into on the last grow as follows: 🌱 Changed my extraction to an 8 inch Sytemair Vector EC fan, it is 3 times more powerful than the previous fan, but will nearly never be turned up much past 50% and only uses 23w at 55%. 🌱 Reduced plants back down to 4 from 6, am hoping this will help me get in there a little easier later on in the grow. 🌱 Installed an under canopy Honeywell fan to help circulate lower canopy during the entire grow. 🌱 Currently waiting for my preorder of 3 x Migro Array 240w lights, best in class efficacy and buys me an extra 1.5ft in vertical grow space as they only need to be hung 6 inches from canopy. 🌱 DWC now has the brain bucket outside the grow room to allow me to make amendments during lights out. 🌱 After last Botrytis outbreak everything has been thoroughly cleaned with bleach followed by 70/30 ISO. 🌱 Various Hygrometers dotted around the room now with 24hr high low displays That’s about all I can think of for now, happy growing all! 😎

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. Den Mädels gehts super und die Buds entwickeln sich immer weiter und werden größer und größer. Die Bud der RS 11 hat auffällig lange Härchen - sieht beeindruckend aus. Temperatur noch bei 23-25C und die LF habe ich etwas runtergedreht und auf 50-55% gestellt. 2.5L Wasser mit Hesi Bio-Bloom bekommen sie alle 3 Tage, mit einem Ph-Wert Zwischen 5.5-6.0. Die Lumatek 200W Pro ist nun 30cm entfernt und auf 100% gedimmt. ----------- Wir sind am Tag 62 angekommen. Den Mädels gehts super! Temperatur noch bei 23-25C und die LF habe ich etwas runtergedreht und auf 50-55% gestellt. 2.5L Wasser mit Hesi Bio-Bloom bekommen sie alle 3 Tage, mit einem Ph-Wert Zwischen 5.5-6.0. Ze Chem Bang is growing great. I did a solution change on her mid week. I also hst her today and did some defoliation. She has some frosty Cola sites in the making. Everything is looking good at the moment. The buds are becoming every day bigger and hairy and some trichomes starting to develop quite nice. the Smell is not so strong at the moment perfectly manageable by the carbon filter. I'm still struggling with some nutes and ph stress but the plant seems to keep growing. I'm gonna flush with 20 l at 1.2 EC and ph 6.6 and letting her dry for 5 days and then ill give her a boost of 1.8ec so that lots of oxygen goes to the roots.

As you can see, she is getting thicker as days go by! Looking to harvest her in 2 weeks! Minor light burn on the top cola, but other then that no deficiencies at all.

Shes putting on some serious weight The smell is insane its one of my favorites Very candy like, almost rainbow candy not a single whif of earthyness or lemons just pure candy I water her now twice ever 12 hours because of the 25celcius now, and soon 33. The EC goes up a lot in summer always, so more waterings or even just pure rainwater to drop it lower

**** HAARVEST ZOE **** Nice Strain , My little Zoe really made all the mistakes you could possibly make. No matter when I give light or want water or fertilizer. It grows and grows and grows, the main thing is that there is light. It was one of my free seeds from Zamnesia. So far all seeds have germinated. I store my seeds in a dark, airtight container at 6°C. Tastes kind of sweet after curing. Greenhouse Feeding is a really easy fertilizer to use. I used the BioEnhancer again and again. My little Zoe thanked me. The BioGrow was used as topdressing and is doing its job. The BioBloom also does its job at the right time. And that's really great and easy if you don't have an autoflower. Of course there is a corresponding product. But I was happy to get anything here at all. Legalization has wiped out the market. But for next time I have an appropriate soluble fertilizer for fast-flowering plants. It doesn't work for 8 weeks :)) I use a Sanlight Evo 3-60 1.5 with Bluetooth dimmer. There's nothing to complain about there. Set daily cycle via app. Helpful if the weather or environment is so bad that you have to regulate the light intensity. 33g after 5 days dry . 24.5 °C to 22°C with 50%-60% . curing in a vaccum box at 18°C . It looks like I'm drying too long. // It tastes a bit crunchy. Day 79: trim , slow vacuum box to cure 22°C and 61%rH . Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis stretch 15 centimètres (Stretch explanations more) EXPOSURE TO LIGHT One of the main culprits in abnormal stretching of cannabis plants is the lack of light. Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common.
