I started germination of 3 Sweet Zkittlez beans on 29/12/2020 (now sweet zenzation). I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Sweet Zkittlez. I've only grown this one out once. Did her up in a 1 gallon SOG grow. It had a very impressive main cola. With quality bud structre and trichome production. The plant had a very luring sexy odor. I was very satisfied with the results. The variety got extra hungry for both p and k mid flower. A little bit needier but definitely worth the extra attention. Very excited to see the results in a full size plant. Giving thus a variety a chance to show me full swing.

Underfed these girls a bit and they had a late defoliation but they seem to have done okay

Week 9 ongoing Banana Kush 74 cm Black Domina 54 cm Cheese 51 cm Blue Berry 58 cm Finally stopped from going up, only 1-2 cm in the last week. The smell is starting to get strong. The buds are looking better by day. More photos at the end of the week.

Der erste Outdoor Run wird mit dem Frühling eingeläutet💪🏻 Hoffentlich spielt das Wetter mit und lässt die Ladys gut wachsen. 3 von 4 Samen sind gekeimt. Der zweite StrawberryBanana der nicht gekeimt ist, wurde jetzt nochmal in ein Glas mit Wasser. Wenn der Samen nach 24h immernoch nicht keimt, kommt er weg. Aber diese Chance soll er noch bekommen💪🏻🍀. Die GorillaAuto ist auch noch nicht ganz übern Berg, ich bin aber guter Dinge. Als Ersatz für die StrawberryBanana wurde eine LemonCherryCookies nachgelegt. Drücken wir ihr die Daumen. Die wird dann ein eigene Story bekommen. Die Ladys werden die ersten ca 2 Wochen in relativ kontrollierter Umgebung angezogen. Wenn es in die Endtöpfe geht, geht es für die Ladys nach draußen. Erst etwas im Sonne/Schatten Mix und wenn sie sich dann an die Sonne gewöhnt haben, sollen sie möglichst viel Sonne bekommen und werden minimal verstellt. Zwischen 3 und 4 Tagen nach dem Setzen der Samen haben die Ladys das Licht der Welt erblickt. Möge die erste Woche beginnen🍀💪🏻

well this lady has been a gem too work with , she really stretched out at flower growing from a rose into too a sun flower lol but not quiet as tall as her sister the cali snow , she has been no trouble at all so far no deficiency's at all , also her bud structure is forming nicely and again not too far behind the cali snow , but both plants have almost identical structures too each other until you rub your fingers on those sugar leaves and they tell you they are doing there own thing by the lush sent they leave you sniffing your fingers in delight , the cali snow has much more of a friuty smell than the GSC but they both smell delicious thats for sure

Hello Growmies, I'm thrilled to update you on the plant's progress! In the last week, she has beautifully filled out the scrog. Just yesterday, I flipped her into the flowering stage. This means I'll slowly increase her feeding, although I don't plan to go too heavy on the nutrients since she seems to prefer a lighter touch. She's quite particular about her nutrients, requiring me to change the reservoir every five days. If I delay, she shows signs of distress on her leaves, but these issues resolve immediately after I refresh the reservoir. While she's stretching in the preflower stage, I'll continue to guide her growth into the empty areas of the scrog screen. Esta semana fue divertida, tocó hacer el topping y el LST. Con respecto al primero, creo que podría haber esperado más tiempo ya que las ramas laterales del tercer nudo estaban muy chicas, pero estoy buscando estresar lo menos posible a la planta así que decidí hacerlo el día 40. Espere dos días a que la plante se recupere y las ramas comiencen a crecer e hice el LST. Hice un vídeo del topping + LST. Con respecto a los inputs, los primeros días de esta semana llovió mucho y las plantas se encuentran bajo un techo mínimo por lo que algo de agua las regó. El día del topping regué con FPJ y el día del LST regué con Compost tea + Melaza orgánica. Esto ha sido todo por ahora... Cualquier sugerencia es bienvenida! Buenos cultivos!😃

Now it resembles yoghurt or slightly sour milk crossed with fruit. Not an unpleasent smell by any means just unusual. I'm not needing to feed a lot as the soil seems to be providing most of her nutritional needs. Graft is finally flowering :) The plant is flowering different parts at different rates As you can see there is less nitrogen for the plant to use. Nevertheless it is still growing leaves everywhere! Main cola is stacking nicely 👍🏽 I canny wai laddy I jus canny doooo it :)

It has been a week of snap snap snap! let's call it accidental toppings - yes - multiple. The OG Kush seems to be quite fragile compared to other strains I've grown. Continued LST has resulted in me snapping off the end of the main stem and another major branch. Both days within switching the light regime. Now I have to fill up the net using lateral branches. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period (32hrs) prior to switching light regime at the beginning of the week - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Light green spots and other spots noted on big fan leaves, possibly a calcium or other deficiency. Spots are lighter shade, irregular though some are circular. End up turning bronze colour dust. No pests have been spotted during extensive inspections. The problem remains to older leaves only and doesn't seem to be affecting any new growth. I also think I may have some Nitrogen toxicity due to my CalMag solution having a NPK ratio of 6-0-0. Getting some low N solution this week so hopefully that will address any impact on the flowering stage. The plant still seems to be strong, forming strong branches and massive fan leaves. Growth is being tucked under the net to fill it up. Pruned a few stems and leaves from below the canopy which may never see the light of day. Run-off EC still remains below target. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. Light period is during the night time to better maintain heat/humidity conditions during light off period (which happens during daytime). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes ; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 (gives me great control over the environment) - ventilation fans - aquarium heater for nutrients solution (for winter use only) - small oil heater (for winter use only) - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots (as final pots) and 3.5L general plastic pots (for seedling stage) - Canna Coco substrate mixed with 40% perlite - GHE Flora Trio as base nutrients and various additives - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy, the other at the roots level - these allow for external monitoring and recording) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some strain info from Royal Queen Seeds ; An amazing mix of genetics background - Its true genetics are unknown. Some say OG Kush is a mix of ChemDawg with a Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush. Others say that it’s just a special cutting of ChemDawg from the early 90s. The most obvious trait of OG Kush is its strong, unique, very dank, slightly citrus aroma, almost like fuel or strong detergent. The flavour of OG Kush is equally as strong and dank, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Strong mental and physical high - OG Kush is an extremely strong cannabis strain, with most experienced smokers listing it as one of their favourites. The effect is as strong physically as it is mentally. Though its effect is like an Sativa, the strain's genetics are mostly Indica. The effect is as strong and complex as the flavour. OG Kush takes around 8 weeks to flower and on average the yield is 500 grams per plant.

Week started 27/09 Still losing lots of leaves per day (due to yellowing). #3 doesn't have anymore fan leaves and some bud leaves are looking droopy. I'm hoping they will make it through to harvest without the need to spray Neem. Getting some Nematodes this week to put into the soil in case it turns out I have root aphids. The indoor setup was complete this week and the plants are now growing indoors full time. Still having problems maintaining heat in the tent without the humidity rising very high. I'm stopping the extraction fan at various intervals to raise the temp of the room but the humidity levels shoot towards 90% with the lights on. #1 30/09 - 25ml/5L Flores at pH6.3. 03/10 - 25ml/5L Flores and PK 13/14 at pH6.5 #2 28/09 - 25ml/5L Flores at pH6.1. Runoff measured at pH5.9, EC 1.11ms 03/10 - 25ml/5L Flores and PK 13/14 at pH6.5 - developing some nice colas. #3 30/09 - 25ml/5L Flores at pH6.3. 03/10 - 25ml/5L Flores and PK 13/14 at pH6.5 - whilst it has lost a majority of its leaves, there is a nice cola forming at the top. #4 30/09 - 25ml/5L Flores at pH6.3. 03/10 - 25ml/5L Flores and PK 13/14 at pH6.5 The White Widow looks like will be ready in a couple of weeks. That was the last feed.

The stench coming off this plant is unbelievable. When I open the tent, the smell slaps me in the face and instantly fills the room with funky sweet goodness. 😆 RQS says this strain takes 9 weeks of flower but she had a major defoliation during early bloom so we’ll see. 73 Day 10 Weeks to Harvest

Casey's Rollex OG grew well. She finished in 7 weeks of flowering. Which was super fast. I fid run a little longer as it never looked ripe then, but started fox tailing as well. So it was a confusing finish the bud has a good citrus and earthy aroma. Really frosty. I have a feeling this will be a strong couch lock experience once done.
