Bit more eventful of a week this one. Just going about my normal business when I was checking them over making sure all sex organs were female. Noticed that something seemed amiss. I took me a bit to figure out why one of my girls hermie’d, but a bit of thinking back brought something to the forefront. I had not had the 3rd and 4th pieces of shelving, and since I had the shelving upside down, I had to balance them on the edge with a piece of wood. I had rearranged my plants after watering, and did not make sure each one was steady, when I went to open my tent on probably day 27 or 28, i saw one of my babies had fallen off the shelf and was crushed up against the wall of the tent at a 45 degree angle! I was like NOOOO sunflower not you!!! So at least I know why the darn thing did what it did. I removed it from the others as soon as I noticed. Wanting to see the root structure I chopped it at the base of its stalk. The whole pot had very healthy roots so that was good to see. Was still having trouble with the plants seeming to reject the cal-mag and other nutes I was giving it. Only had pool ph strips. Yakno, the ones that only have a range down to 6.2….. More on that next week.

Esta semana creció bastante la Jack orange ya tiene bien marcados los nodos y las nuevas ramas, vamos a empezar con podas de bajos y un poco de defolición, cuando las ramas ya esten un poco más grandes vamos a empezar a entrenarla con amarres y cropping!! Vamos a ir viendo las siguientes semanas como vienen!!

well, it's exactly 12 weeks :) and my house is full of lemon aroma :) the girl endured really difficult growth, but she coped with everything perfectly :) who followed the growth, you saw that she grew on the balcony for 10 weeks, and she spent the last 2 in the grow tent :) 500 gr wet weight !!!!:) , before putting it in the ground I expected less than 10 g dry yield :D then this growth turned out super well, if it wasn't for my vacation I would have let it grow for about 2 weeks I think. but everything is still very good, I'll go home, fix it and do a smoke review :).

Hi fellow growers, another week and a half has passed so this diary update is a bit over due. As i said in my last update that i was growing on 24 hours of light and thinking about switching them to 18-6, right after writing last weeks diary i made the switch to 18-6 and left it for the past week and a half and that made a huge difference in growth the plants where nice and bushy from the 24 hours of light and they are now stretching towards the light just like we want to see yesterday i made the switch to 12-12 so the next update will be in flowering fase. The day before i made the switch to 18-6 we topped the plants and did a little defoliation but that is hardley noticable in the pictures i added because the new fan leaves developed quick and now they are nice and bushy again, enough leaf surface to take in a lot of light. I think i will be taking out my scrog net somewhere in the next week or so to train them a little but no full on scrog. lighting is now on full power 330 watts full spectrum but is still hanging on 50 cm above the canopy. I give them a little more water every day they get half a liter with hy-pro nutes and rootbastic (the amount added is in the nutes section above) That is all for now. Cheers, Nibameca

The germination went very well. After 72 hours, has the seed sprouted. And after sowing the seed in the little pot, it took just 24 hours for it to sprout. It’s going to be another balcony grow. Things are goin on as they should the girls are getting more bushy than tall which is what I wanted but everything is on cruise control. Only watering when soil is dry and I’m about to start giving them silica on a routine basis in low doses just for added nutrient uptake. I don't think I could have got 6 of these in my grow space they need a lot of room and airflow. nice strain looking forward to testing the strength.in my TCHECK METER. 18.2% THCa. lesson learned on pruning airflow and RH all very important I caught the bud rot right away I will keep a close eye on the dry and cure for mold. fingers crossed I will not have it. going to do a sulfur burn in tent and garage to reset for next grow. 000
