Great exhibition of purple colours, furtermore i harvested vast amounts of nettle for my homemade: Nettles, bonemeal, 300°c baked clay and charcoal mix. Ich habe die Triebe mit Erdnägeln nach unten gedrückt, damit die Pflanze nun besser in die Breite wachsen kann. Ich denke, das die Pflanze nun noche eine Woche in der Vegetativen Phase bleibt und dann in die Blüte übergeleitet wird, da es sich um eine reine Sativa handelt. Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Even with the heat she has given me quite a big yield and that's with lack of watering and also training badly so I could have got a better yield if I have had paid more attention to her so until next time ✌️ out my fellow Growmies

All 4 plants are coming along very nicely. The Jammy Dodgers #2 plants are about a week old now and looking well.

Smaller plant, most likely due to space. Big visible trichomes, buds forming good, just a smaller stature. It is however a trichome machine! Fan leaves, leaf stem, the branches, it's crazy. Never seen this.

So, guys.. This is her first month blooming. 4 complete weeks has passed. Here we are for 2 more. For me a good number of buds and they are as dense as I thought they would be by this time. I think everything is under control despite some foxtails cuz the heat. Loving the experience.

From today, the girl is turning 12-12:) she is really different from the ones I have already had to grow:) she is small, but has quite a lot of branches, weak, and I cut off the hidden branches so as not to save the plant's energy in vain:) beautiful girl looks healthy, drinks 3 liters every second day :) good luck to everyone:).

***** Week 6 Veg - January 9/21 to 15/21 ***** This week the girls saw lots of change! They have seen a light change and now they have been transplanted and topped. Push the girls harder and see how they react😃 They have been in very good shape and healthy so they have been reacting well to the stress. This girl has been a strong growers from the start and its not stopping yet. She is staying a nice bushy shape but not growing as tall as the other girls and that is a little concerning going into a SCROG situation. She is pushing some big fan leaves😎👍 Topped all of the ETS girls and left them with 4 sets of branches on each. If the lowest set of branches were tiny, I have stripped them off already. Not sure if I am going to SCROG or not.....I don’t really want to but it is the best way to fill the canopy and test out the light spread......will see. They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 9/21, Day 36 Veg - Transplant day today!!!!!! She went into a 5 gal pot - Root mass was much better than in the solo cups......not as strong as Gorilla Girl for comparison but just about perfect and didn’t need to prune them. - 1.5L watering of the pots after transplant with CalMag @ 2ml, Microbial Mass @ 3ml, Piranha @ 2ml (effectively microbes, fungi and CalMag watering) Jan 10/21, Day 37 Veg - 1.5L Feed with full strength week 2 nutrients - added CalMag @ 1ml as well. New coco in the pots that have not been buffered so added a little more. - 1,300ppm and 5.9pH.......feeling it might be a little high.....target was 1150ppm. - no run off water from the pots. Didn’t want to “soak” the pots, jet wet them. - New light in the tent today. 650watt but dialled down so the girls have roughly 10,500 LUX, drawing 135 watts - Topped the girls today as well😃 - left 4 sets of branches on each girl. Topped them up high on the node above to help avoid splitting the main stem. Jan 11/21, Day 38 Veg - Dry out day - girls reacting well to the high ppm feed from yesterday. Jan 12/21, Day 39 Veg - 1.5L watering with CalMag @ 1ml - 200ppm and 5.9pH Jan 13/21, Day 40 Veg - Dry out day Jan 14/21, Day 41 Veg - 2L watering with CalMag @ 2ml - 250ppm and 5.9pH (actually added 1ml of Micro as pH was a little high) - IPM spray tonight with Lost Coast Plant Therapy @ 3ml/L. Done at lights out. - This product been working well and nothing has been a set back so not going to stop now😃👍 Jan 15/21, Day 42 Veg - Dry out day. - Girls doing well. Still have some strong purple in the fan leaves coming off the main stem.

102.5g dry, top nug 13.3gs dry. Absolute beast of a plant especially as a freebie, had a good bit of fun with this one and it’s nice seeing improvement through each plant.

Ran into some Calcium/Phosphorus trouble !? First deficiency in the grow. Topped up with new nutrient solution, added some CalMag and Universol Yellow 12/32/12. Raised PH to 6.1 and EC to 1850. Added 100ml 12% H2O2 to make sure no PH trouble occurs. Switched the Carbon filter around so that I can lift my light a little more. Orion F1 is getting really frosty ~2 more weeks? The Northern Lights take some more time.

Amazing Colours! As you can see the colours on this plant at the end of its run are absolutely amazing. The buds didnt out as dense as I had hoped but I think thats just this pheno and we are busy hunting a denser pheno atm. what a great strain to grow though. no problems during the cycle of the plant and the colours make it so rewarding to grow! I would definitely recommend this strain to people who like fruity and colourful plants. Barneys never disappoints really;)

I like to defoliate well just before flower especially lower parts to expose bud sites so light gets trough and some larger top leaves but not too many so I don't shock the plant too much
