9 days drying. Trimming was easy. Four weeks curing. Yummy.

Tastes like lemonade with a power kick to it of something else dank! She smokes great she’s a bit dry to the touch but I think that was down to that high heat phase I had to deal with! But great smoke has me energetic at first then KAPOW kick ass time! Firstly the colors omg so amazing purple from the get go and when the buds develop and dried they’re even more vivid, with hints of pink and orange coming through! Through the grow I had some rust looking spots come up on the lower leaves! Couldn’t identify the problem even fed her with cal mag and kept an eye on PH but no clear findings?! Later down the line I had the heat rise to 34-36 and made her foxtail a little but still got very dense buds out of her mainly the size of a jam jar! The main cola was a little bigger but very leafy had to do a mega wet trim! But will trim again after a few days of curing! Will definitely be growing again! She would of been a bigger beast if I topped her! And if the heat didn’t kick in then she would of developed better too! Fastbuds have amazing genetics I’ll be sure to be doing up a few more! She tastes like lemonade and that’s straight After dry (5days brown bags at 20c humidity 40%) I can tell some more fruits are to come through during cure as I tasted some tropical burst kick in at some point so excited to see what the result is in a month!

First 35 days of flower. Will slowly decrease the feedings for the next 4 weeks and then chop. Smells great with purple hues in the leaves and buds. Every seed has had different physical characteristics but they all seem to have a similar gassy smell.

Week one of flower in the books I watered Monday with grow nutrients !! Then watered late in the week with phd water and molasses now I’ve switched to my bloom nutes as of this morning I did find that my ph meter is off glad I found the problem early on in flower could’ve been bad later on Oan in another 5 days I’ll do one more defoliation after that I won’t bother them again till harvest !!! Another 2 weeks into flower and Candy Cream Go Fast from Kannabia is blowing past all expectations and delivering a very quick (auto like flower period) but with strong female results. The way it's at to maturing these past 2 weeks is amazing. I've not been able to give my plants the greatest of care at the moment. But with Xpert Nutrients and Kannabia it's a combo that is very hard to get wrong. I'm getting a lovely finish (fade) and terpine profiles (smells) are astounding and uber sticky. All these Nutrients above were given separately over a 2 week period with water feeds in between each, 2 master bloom & calmag + Enzymes/root were used often too. Ph to 6.5-7 Ppm for bloom stayed 4-450ppm. Light lollipopping was done last week. Needed to allow air to flow through the un lst'ed branches and too much bud. I wish I'd given my plants more care. But, last 2 months have not been good. Crypto market has me in a real bind atm and having to actually work is killing me. Must be in the 6th week of flowering going into the 7th. theres a total of 8 branches all same length exept the 2 in the middle. 10weeks from seed here This is by far the best strain i ever grown. Not just because of the legendary Og Kush x Bluberry x Gorilla Glue #4 cross. The smell, the leaves, the branches, and the space between every node and how big everything is. This is just insane the smell is legendary. This strain deserves so much more awards

All and all the plant was great but I would probably not grow again. It had a much slower flower time and really struggled.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Es el resultado del cruce de 2 variedades me gustan bastante, por lo que se imaginarán lo expectante que estaba por este nuevo ciclo. Me gustó y disfruté mucho viendo el desarrollo de esta planta, esta vez no quise entrenarla (LST, topping) para ver como se desarrollaba y la verdad no me decepcionó, quizás hubiera esperado más producción pero sin duda que la calidad de las flores vale totalmente la pena en desmedro del rendimiento. Flores compactas y poco aireadas completamente repleta de resina dulce y muy frutal. Totalmente recomendable para los que disfrutan de humos dulces, frutales, cremosos y con notas a frutos secos, ¡un lujo! Gracias a Sweet Seeds por darme la oportunidad de cultivar estas 3 novedades que la verdad son unas maravillas que sin duda volveré a cultivar. Será hasta la próxima, buenos humos!

Built a new small veg setup for my clones that I took off my Blue Dream... likely running other strains next time but I wanted to test my cloning setup, and ended up with 100% success rate on them. Every plant is happy and growing well! I'll be pushing my nutes to the top of the recommended feeding chart to try and get as much out of the plants as I can.
