Week 2 of flower is in the books and all 3 girls are looking extremely healthy. Perfect time to start packing on the weight. There are tons if bud sites that will get tons of light due to all the defoliation I've done. I've never defiliated plants this much before and I'm curious to see the difference in bud production below the canopy level. I love trying new things and experimenting with these plants. Always coming up with new ideas on how to do things and making things easier along the way. Can't wait to see how much I'll get off all 3 and see the difference in phenotypes.

Day 16 : trichomes are starting to really show on newer leaves Day 18 : starting to smell really good & stretch is continuing. Cultivar might stretch more then average. Day 20 : Still stretching, nodal spacing is ok.

it's always a pleasure to do business with Barney's Farm!!! They have never let me down even once!! Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine!😋

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Start of week 6 of flower and the smell is incredible the buds are really starting to fatten up I had to tie a couple side branches to the main stem to keep from snapping can’t wait to see how big they get this week going to let them go for another week or 2 before I start the flush still shooting out white hairs (Update) One of the plants is starting to put out some purple colors same environment and strain different appearance (Update) the two biggest plants are maturing faster then the others trichromes are milky a little amber was going to start flush week 9 but I started these two already If you like leave a like 👍

Hemp papers, normal, clipper signed royal queen seed, a magazine I can't wait to read, nutrients, stickers, a complete catalog with the new genetics, a Zamnesia booklet, 5 seeds Honey Cream fast flowering, a door joint (which I have photographed several times, I already love it, my walking joint will no longer suffer from the long walks in my pocket waiting to be consumed), grinder, fabric vase that I really like at the sight, and the starter kit for germination. Due to the current lack of space to germinate, I dipped 2 seeds in water, (I started with one but it seemed to suffer from loneliness: D). I can't wait for them to start growing, I'm very excited to be able to participate in a contest. The Fruity Donutz are doing great! Still stretching but not as much as last week. I turned on the airco in the growroom at a constant 21 degrees to keep the temperature under 25 in the GTools. Heat can also cause the plant to stretch more, and it has another advantage because it helps to keep the humidity down. The Sanlight is now fully raised to the ceiling and the plants have enough space to build those colas. Removing the suspension cords all together and just attaching the clips to the ceiling was a great solution. Silly that I never thought of this before. Now I don't have to supercrop! Supercropping is HST for the plant, but also High Stress for the grower (at least for me 😅). Not much more to say at this point, but I will post more pics of the developing buds later this week ✌️. This week I slightly defoliated the Two mandarin Punch. The dehumidifier is now always ON and the humidity is always around 50% but I cannot go lower. I poor 2l of tap water during each watering for the 26l pots and 1,5l for the 10l pot. After one week of 12h of light, the two photoperiod have started to stretch and the two auto are still stretching a lot and begin the flowering phase. Plants heights at the end of the week: Honey Melon Haze : 70cm (+20) O.G. Kush : 48cm (+4) Mandarin Punch #1 : 76cm (+22) Mandarin Punch #2 : 71cm (+19)

These Durban girls(hopefully) are showing off…So green and full of life…I hope to at least get 1 male to continue this strain. Time will tell.
