P3: La configuración de las cámaras estáticas (esclavas del armario), estoy usando una GoPro capturando un timelapse desde la parte superior de la planta, y un iPhone para capturar un timelapse frontal. La GoPro está colocada justo debajo de las luces y se calienta demasiado, quitaré esta cámara de esta posición en unas semanas por la seguridad de la cámara y su batería. Con el iPhone estoy usando la app SkyFlow para hacer los timelapses. -----SUMARIO SEMANAL----- Esta es la semana del transplante, lo haré el día 10 ó 1 de Agosto. I'm also minding to create some branch supports with the 3d printer that will be placed on the LST structure, I need to twist my mind a bit with it. -----WEEK SUMMARY----- Another super heat week. While at home i'm at 34~36º in the street things are worse :(. Also humidity fluctuate from 50~65º. At last I removed those ugly & dangerous cables from the branches and used a rubber covered one. For now i only need to fix her in 4 points, 1 per each main branch, as you can see, at about 13 cm of the main branch. Later i will fix her with another 2 points per branch, one in the border of the pot from inside, and the last one also in the pot's border but outside. This week i removed the first horizontal internode on each main branch, and also removed the branch that grows vertically down from the second internode leaving in place the one that grows totally up. At the end of the week i will fix the SCROG mesh, but it's not going to be permanent until later, or maybe not at all due to dark photography, as if i place the mesh i will not be able to move the plant (i need to think about it). For now, I just need it 3 or 4 days to test it as i never placed this 60x60 mesh before, and also i had to cut the central rods for the mesh. About Alice K. she's growing beauty and healthy, some week ago i found a little white spider that i killed, @time (week 7) I didn't noticed any insect signs more. Also remark that she's standing well those temperatures and some days of very low humidity some hours 35% inside the tent. And also the equitative distribution she's developing. Con la estructura, las barras de aluminio de la medida del tiesto y esos cables cubiertos de goma verde, me empieza a encantar el aspecto de la planta 😍 P8 - Tengo la impresión de que las ramas son demasiado endebles y finas para lo que está por venir. A partir de la semana que viene, usaré Rinho Skin para ver si las puedo ayudar con el engorde antes de que llegue el tiempo de floración. También estoy pensando en crear unos soportes para las ramas con al impresora 3D que irían enganchados a la estructura para LST, necesito darle unas cuantas vueltas a esto último. -----SUMARIO SEMANAL----- Otra semana super calurosa. Mientras que en casa estoy entre los 34~36º en las calles la cosa es mucho peor. También la humedad está un poco loca ya que a diario me fluctua en casa del 50~65º. Al final he quitado esos cables feos y peligrosos de las ramas y he usado un cable con goma en condiciones. Por el momento sólo he tenido que atar la planta a 4 puntos, 1 en cada rama que he dejado, como se puede ver a unos 13 cm del tallo principal. Más adelante usaré otros dos puntos de fijado en el borde del tiesto, uno de ellos en la parte interior y otro por fuera del tiesto. Esta semana he quitado el primer nodo de cada rama y también la rama que crece hacia abajo del segundo nodo, dejando la rama que crece totalmente hacia arriba. Al final de la semana colocaré la malla de SCROG, pero no va a ser de manera permanente, por lo menos hasta más adelante. Voy a empezar a hacer fotografías de fondo oscuro, y el tener la red me va a imposibilitar la tarea ya que debo sacar la planta del armario para las sesiones (necesito pensar en ello). De momento la quiero montar 3 o 4 días para probarla ya que nunca la había montado antes y también tenía que cortar las barras horizontales para la malla. Sobre Alice K. está creciendo super bonita y sana, hace un par de semanas encontré y maté una arañita blanca (Requiescat In Pace), a día de hoy (semana 7) no he visto más signos de insectos. También debo remarcar lo equitativamente que está creciendo y lo bien que soporta las altas temperaturas y la escasa humedad, hay alguna vez que he mirado el higrómetro y estaba al 35% dentro del armario. P1 ~ P5 - I designed this mobile support structure with GoPro attachment system, it supports a mobile in one of the tent's vertical support bars while it records a full timelapse. If anyone has a 3d printer and feels lazy to design it just ask for it, I can send a blender file or an STL, Cheers!. P7 & P8: First night shoots, this was a quick test with the new acquired lights just opened. P16: Second night shoot test, just a bit better than the first try. P20: As you can see the horizontal branches are too slim, I started this week with Rhino Skin support to see if it helps, but what is going to really help is time I guess. P21 ~P27: At last some decent shots, I need to improve the illumination and the way I use the lights, but well... I'm a beginner and have a lot to learn. Finally I bought some lights and a background system to learn to make dark background photos, I purchased a normal bg system @amazon with 3 x 2x3 m backgrounds and the support system, it's too big for my living room haha!, also purchased a pair of LumeCubes with all the accessories, they are super versatile lights and awesome for my needings, I'm sure that there are similar performance lights even equal, much much more cheap, but I liked these for various reasons, if anyone is interested just ask me. Along the week I didn't have much time to full test the lights, I was only able to perform some quick tests. Along the weekend I expent some more time, and something is begin to came out of my camera ;). As you can see on timelapse video, at the end of the week the plant is already fixed to the final 12 points as I told last week, and is already covering all the horizontal space available in the tent. At time I'm not going to make more prunes or toppings as I like the structure she's getting. I still feel that the horizontal branches that are going to support the plant are too slim, so I'm planning some more weeks of growing, until I see them enough strong to support themselves. This was a terrible mess. Until this week I've been watering with very high PH without knowing it. The PH meter I was using was not well calibrated and I thought so, before yesterday (Week 7) I recovered my PH tester and when I measured I was impressed because I have been watering at PH 7 ~ 8, while I thought I was using PH 5.8. Luckily, things have not going ugly, 💯 for the AK. About temperature and humidity, this is the last week of imbalance in my cultivation system since it is strongly linked to outside. As September enters, immediately the temperature and humidity stabilize itself inside my tents, so it's time to run the 90x90 one ;). This week I also applied a foliar irrigation with a bit of organic insecticide "Tec-Forte", just for prevention. I killed a white Spider 2 or 3 weeks ago and also observed som insect white spots in one leaf, after that I did 2 foliar irrigations along last weeks with B.A.C. "Plant Vitality Plus", "Foliar Spray" & "Pro Active", and I haven't seen any more sign. So this is going to be my last foliar with that extra preventive, to keep things clean of unwanted life. -----WATERING CALENDAR----- 28/08/19 (Day 37) - 3,000 ml with all week nutrients @ 1 E.C. P1 ~ P5 - Este diseñado este soporte de móvil con acople tipo GoPro, aguanta un móvil en una de las barras del armario mientras este graba un vídeo timelapse de varios días, horas o lo que sea. Si alguien tiene una impresora 3D y se siente vago para diseñarlo que me pida el modelo, lo puedo enviar en un archivo de Blender o en formato STL. P7 & P8: Primera prueba nocturna, probando las luces recién abiertas. P16: Segunda prueba nocturna, un poquito mejor que la primera prueba. P20: Como se puede observar las ramas horizontales son demasiado delgadas, esta semana empezaré a usar RhinoSkin a ver si ayuda, pero lo que va a ayudar es el tiempo me temo. Eso es lo que salió de photoshop y las fotos P26 y P27 -----SMUARIO SEMANAL----- No sé si es normal durante el crecimiento, pero Alice K. ha empezado a oler por todo mi piso, es increíble como huele sin tener aún ni una flor ni un pistilo. No puedo ni imaginarme lo que va a acabar oliendo. Al fin esta semana me he decidido a comprar unas luces y un fondo para aprender a hacer fotos con fondo negro, el fondo he comprado uno normalito de 2 x 3 m, aunque me queda muy grande en el salón de casa, de luces me he comprado una pareja de lumecubes con los accesorios, son una luces super versátiles y excelentes para mis necesidades, seguro que hay cosas de rendimiento parecido o igual y mucho más baratas, pero a mi me gustaron estas por varios motivos. Si alguien está interesado que me pregunte. Durante la semana no tuve mucho tiempo y sólo pude realizar unas pruebas cortas. El fin de semana me puse un poco más a fondo y ya empieza a salir algo decente ;). Como se ve en el vídeo semanal, al final de semana ya he atado la planta a los tres puntos que comenté la semana pasada y ya está cubriendo todo el espacio horizontal disponible en el armario, por el momento ya he acabado los cortes y las podas, no tengo planeado realizar más a no ser que lo vea necesario. Sigo teniendo la impresión de que las ramas son quizás un poco delgadas aún por lo que planeo unas cuantas semanas de crecimiento más, hasta que engorden y las vea capaces de hacer buenas colas y resistir su peso. Hasta esta semana he estado regando con el PH alto sin saberlo. El medidor de PH que usaba no estaba bien calibrado y yo creía que sí, antes de ayer (Semana 7) recuperé el mío y al medir me quedé impresionado pues he estado regando a PH 7~8, mientras yo creía estar usando PH 5.8. Menos mal que las cosas no se me han puesto feas. Con respecto a la temperatura y humedad esta es la última semana de desequilibrio en mi sistema de cultivo ya que está fuertemente ligado al exterior, ya entra Septiembre y enseguida se estabilizan la temperatura y humedad solas. Esta semana también apliqué un riego foliar con un poco de insecticida orgánico "Tec-Forte", solo por prevención. Maté a una araña blanca hace 2 o 3 semanas y también observé algunas manchas blancas de insectos en una hoja, después hice un par de riegos foliares durante las últimas semanas con B.A.C. "Plant Vitality Plus", "Foliar Spray" y "Pro Active", y no he visto ninguna señal más. P2 Vs P18: Last week I started using Rhino Skin, trying to help her with the fattening and strength of the main branches. The difference is not too high watching at the images, but they're fattening in a cool way. I think it's time to place some lower support for the branches to help them with the weight, as i've seen many diaries on where the central branch of the plant was totally broken by the middle due to the weight of the top branches, and i really don't want to see that happening on my AliceK... P8: Loving this distribution!!! -----WEEK SUMMARY----- One week more for loving this beautiful plant. I'm loving the easiness of growing an AliceK, this week she suffered low water times, at almost the end of the week. Till today i was watering once each 120 Hrs ±, but it isn't enough at time for the size of the plant, she's drinking much more water than in previous weeks, so from Day 47 i'm switching to a water cycle of 84 Hrs±. At last temperatures are giving us a breath, again 27~29ºc along day, with a constant fresh breeze that came from the Mediterranean sea (Shore is at about ± 150 m from my home). This is the last week that i'm going to use that GoPro position to record timelapses. From now on i will record from the middle of one of the walls to have a better view. I'm not using the mobile on the AK more as the field of view is too short at the distance i should place the phone, and it didn't cover all the plant. El domingo las partes bajas ya estaban a unos 26~27 cm y las centrales ya habían llegado a ±32 cm. P2 Vs P18: La semana pasada empecé a usar Rhino Skin, intentado ayudarla a que engorde y refuerce las ramas principales. La diferencia no es demasiado visible en las imágenes, pero están engordando muy bien. Creo que ya va siendo hora de poner soportes inferiores en las ramas para ayudarlas más adelante con su peso. He visto ya unos cuantos diarios en los que la rama central se parte por la mitad debido al peso de las ramas horizontales, bajo ningún concepto quiero que eso le pase a mi AliceK... CONCLUSIÓN PERSONAL sobre Rhino Skin: Creo que Rhino Skin está ayudando, si comparo el engorde de estas ramas con el de las de mi último diario de Gorilas, en el cual no usé Rhino Skin durante la etapa de crecimiento, puedo comprobar con certeza como las ramas de AliceK están engordando más que lo que lo hicieron las ramas de las Gorilas y las Money Maker sin la ayuda de Rhino Skin (el tamaño del tiesto seguro que también está ayudando a esto) P8: ¡¡¡Me encanta esta distribución!!! -----SUMARIO SEMANAL----- Una semana más de amor para esta preciosa planta, estoy fascinado con la sencillez de llevar a AliceK, esta semana ha sufrido un par de días de sequía como se puede apreciar casi al final del vídeo semanal. Hasta hoy he venido regando una vez cada 120 horas, pero esto ya no es suficiente para el tamaño de la planta, bebe mucho más que las semanas anteriores. A partir del último riego de esta semana voy a cambiar a un ciclo de riego de 84 hrs. Por fin las temperaturas nos dan un respiro, de nuevo 27~29º durante el día con una brisa fresca y constante de la costa. Esta semana será la última que use esa posición de la GoPro para grabar los videos semanales. A partir de ahora la colocaré en el centro de una de las paredes del armario para tener una visión mejor. Ya no estoy usando el iPhone en la AK pues el campo de visión es muy estrecho para la distancia la que debo colocar el móvil de la planta. A partir del cuarto día a empezado a crecer a gran velocidad, de momento más de 1 cm al día. De verdad que se ve maravillosa, está engordando bien las ramas y definiendo su partes muy bien. Hace algunas semanas comenté que ya estaba apestando toda mi casa y aún estaba en crecimiento. El olor fue disminuyendo hasta niveles normales y esta semana de nuevo está volviendo a incrementar su olor día a día. De momento debo remarcar que en 9 semanas de cultivo que van, la Alice.k me ha dado 0 problemas o cosas raras. Ha sufrido de altas temperaturas, algunos insectos y he empezado a ir fuerte con los nutrientes. Estoy ciclando la EC en los riegos, sobrepasando los 2 en algunos casos, de momento no ha mostrado ningún signo de exceso. Con esto no quiero decir que no los vaya a mostrar si sigo así, pero de momento no lo ha hecho, si en algún momento empiezo a ver signos, ya frenaré y reajustaré. También es un planta fuerte y con capacidad de recuperación rápida, eso se puede observar en los vídeos perfectamente. Esto mismo me ocurrió con las Gorilas y Money Makers de mi último diario y en ese caso to lo achaqué a la fallida defoliación que realicé. Esta semana empiezo a detectar una deficiencia de magnesio en una de las hojas grandes (o eso creo), aún así hasta dentro de 2 semanas no tomo precauciones pues hasta entonces no se hizo obvio para mí (grave error). All the failures are given by my hand and not by any means for the quality of the seed that is far from any doubt top quality. I'm very sorry that the diary did not end as it deserved, and it gives me a tremendous shame to see this fateful ending in such beautiful genetics. I hope to grow it again soon with better results because I feel that I owe this genetics an apology. I hope you liked how far everything has gone wrong.
