She’s still being babysat by a friend and so far she’s growing strong. Have a good stretch so the light was moved up a bit as well, also implemented some LST. Can’t wait to see her again.

Stilly leggy but added some more soil with organic compost on top and they seem to be holding up ok. Lighting I think is an issue but I’ve had some days with 24 hour light and this when I notice a lot of growth. Still have the fan on throughout the day to try and help strengthen them up. Uploaded a video for day 23. Seeing new growth every day and I’m getting excited 😆 Makes me want to start germinating more! I also added another 65 watt LED full spectrum grow light.

Day 30: Just got back from vacation, left the girls on their own for 4 days. Watered before I left, came back and they look fine. BL is at 19cm and PB is 10cm. BL's stem is getting thicker, and stray spiders and ants are becoming more and more attracted to her. Odour is still weak and no signs of flowering. I may have to keep an eye out on her leaves starting from now and consider adding some liquid fertilizer. While I was on vacay I kept them at 12/12 artificial light. Usually I give them 3hrs of supplemental sunlight on the windowsill. Day 33: The foliage is starting to show signs of nutrient deficiency, spotting on the top leaves and yellowing on the bottom leaves on both plants. I'm adding a low dosage of orchid fertilizer and a bit of chamomile tea. Will also sprinkle some coffee grounds to the top layer of the soil. (7PM: I am seeing white pistils come out! Thinking it will start flowering very soon.) Day 34: Sprayed with a neem solution last night night and turned on the fan. Removed the yellowing leaf, looked like a powdered mold growth, and seeing if the spots are from bug meals. Hoping that the fan and the neem will reduce bugs. Day 35: The white spots definitely look like bugs taking bites out of the leaves. I'm going to spray her with neem daily and look out for critters now, and do all the rest of the household plants too. Started doing LST on PB as well. Looking forward to seeing BL enter her flowering phase as she is clearly pre-flowering now. Day 36: Might have been a bit too intense with PB's first LST session, she needs some recovery. Good thing I can just keep her in vegetative for a while. Neem spray went well, no new leaf damage. BL has done her pre-flower stretch. Will be able to keep these girls pretty small. Landlord may visit this week so I'll have to hide them.

Que pasa familia, vamos con la primera semana de vida de estas Black muffin F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío , las 4 semillas que germinaron con éxito se colocaron en macetas de 0.6 litros y asomaron 4, 100% ratio germinado. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

All in all this grow was super easy. I couldve done some things to make it better but she pretty much did all the work. This strain would be perfect for a SOG style grow because it produces mostly a singular main cola nug that's pretty huge and then the bottom nugs themselves are also decently chunky. 4/22 chopped the lower half the plant. Wet it weighs 50grams. Still have the main cola in a dark room for another day or so before im gonna chop. 4/26 bottom half of plant dried in 4 days. 5/2 top cola dried in 5 days. Total weight is less than 20 grams at 19.4 5/12. Ten days of cure and shes looking even better. Spongey thick nugs. Dark red almost brown Pistils with pyramid shaped nugs. I also wanted to not how fast and easy this grow actually was. She has so much amber I probably couldve chopped her 2 weeks previous. 3 weeks veg and 5 weeks flowering and some would chop. Review. Growing 9/10 for ease of growth Super fast and simple. You can Fuck up and get fat buds lol High: 9/10 super stoney. No paranoia Yield:8/10 plant a super short. Like less than a foot. Can probably yield around a zip roughly Bag appeal: 7/10after cure buds look good. Before harvest buds look fantastic as well

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Well, my very first grow, 2 main mistakes I done is overdosing with nutrients and over defoliating her. In the next grow I’ll focus to avoid these mistakes, and try to make less but bigger buds. This run was perfect for learning about the plant and the whole process, overall I’m happy to finish with something in my hand.
