Fin de la semana 5, entrando a la semana 6, fue increíble la forma en que crecieron estas señoritas, sin duda haber renovado la bomba de CO2, por una nueva, completamente hecha a mano y casera (1,5 litros de agua tibia, 500 gr. de azúcar blanca granulada y 15 gr. de levadura fresca, en una botella de refresco, con un hoyo en la tapa), hizo que la fotosíntesis fuese mas apresurada, ideal para las plantas de tipo autoflorecientes, el volumen de crecimiento fue aproximadamente de un 45% y logro que ya empezaran a aparecer los primeros pistilos, estoy muy emocionado como han respondido todos los componentes agregados en este cultivo, desde el sustrato de Canna Terra Proffesional, hasta los nutrientes Top Crop, ademas de mencionar a las semillas Fast Buds y las semillas a granel de Bocanda Growshop en Temuco, Chile. Una vez dicho eso, las plantas entraron al quirófano para hacerles su única defoliación pesada entrando establemente en floración, para ello, elimine las hojas más grandes y los micro-tallos que no alcanzaron a entrar en flora esta semana, dejando a los más aptos y fuertes, para su engorde con nutrientes orgánicos (Top Bud y Top Candy). Now we have the start of the 6th week of flowering. The buds develop very well, she is full of trichomes and smells gassy fruity. Day 77 (f15): The Runtz is stretching considerably more than the Kosher Dawg (which will need to be elevated - probably by putting planks under the dwc reservoir). Ran out of Plagron nutrients and couldn't find anymore! So I bought the only ones available at the hydro store 'hy-pro hydro A & B), these nutrients are much less concentrated and I already used up near to half a litre of nutrients on my reservoir change day (yesterday)! The yellow tips on the Runtz seem to be light stress, as during the res change the nutrient dosage was lowered and ph maintained between 5.7-6.1 and she shows she is hungry but the yellow tips got slightly worse to the light is 15cm higher now. Nice strong vegetative smell releases when I rub any part of the plants :D It is getting difficult to take pictures where you can actually see the size of the plants because the space is so packed! Can't wait to do the heavy defoliation after the stretch (in like 5-7 days from now)! Day 80 (f18) update: 10cm stretch since day 15, she is doing well! Internode distance is larger than I'm used to, but she also stretched more than I expected so I'll probably remove all the lower bud sites during the heavy defoliation. Light stress (or nute burn) symptoms barely progressed, I think putting the light from 35 to 55cm from the highest growth shoots helped. Since she is so bushy and definitely the biggest volume plant I have ever had I am very curious to see what she REALLY looks like after the defoliation!! Day 80 (f20) update (heavy defoliation): The stretch has slowed down and the buds have a slight fresh sweet citrus aroma, took 90 minutes to defoliate her and remove the 'sucker' branches and bud sites on the bottom 40% of the plant. Changed water reservoir to a mix with a bit of bloom booster (Plagron green sensation).

30 days since flip day Almost half of the expected flowering time have passed. They look and are doing fabulous - despite of me making some mistakes. They are a little overfed now and the soil pH dropped to 5. I did corrective watering with high pH and Athena Cleanse (mild hypochlorous acid) - should help remediate the lockout I got them into. One started loosing bottom leaves so I need to act fast. Hope it helps. Probably next watering will be higher than normal pH also to stabilize it at higher levels. The Sugar Cane name seems to be SUPER ACCURATE. I did never saw the breeder or gorewers report this trait for this strain - but it is literally a sugar cane. The stems are covered with trichomes. And yeah - thats normal, I know. But not like that. Top 1/3 length of each stem is stisky like a bud. Covered in full grown capitate-stalked trichomes with huge heads. 🤯🤯🤯 This is crazy. Both of my Sugar Cane have those. I have never even hear of such trait and boom - two plants at once.

Also, I installed a scrog net; it's not fixed very well but I think it will do for now.. With no doubt these plants have not produced much more quantity and density of buds due to the 2 serious mistakes I've made (those who have read the weeks will know what I mean). However, I can say that I am happy with the production obtained given the mistakes made. Between the 2 plants, the one that has produced more and generated the most dense buds has been the Gorilla with the Man-lining technique applied, it has also loosed a bit less weight drying than the non man-lining one. In comparison with the Money Makers with which they have grown the result is the same. Both Gorillas have each produced more than any of the Moneys comparing them 1 to 1. Also buds are a bit dense than the moneys, but none of them is really desde at all. *****ESPAÑOL***** Sin duda estas plantas no han producido mucha mas cantidad y densidad de cogollos debido a los 2 graves errores que he cometido (quien se haya leído las semanas sabrá a que me refiero). No obstante, puedo decir que estoy contento con la producción obtenida dados los errores cometidos. Entre las 2 plantas, la que más a producido y ha generado cogollos más densos ha sido la Gorilla con la técnica de Man-lining aplicada, y también ha perdido un poquito menos de peso en el secado que la otra. En comparación con las Money Maker junto a las que han crecido el resultado es el mismo. Las Gorillas han producido cada una más que cualquiera de las Moneys comparándolas 1 a 1. Así mismo, los cogollos de las Gorillas presentan un pelín más densidad que el de las Moneys, aunque realmente ninguna de las 4 plantas ha generado cogollos densos del todo.
