Week 5 of Flower

Sad news. Due to no fault but my own the sherberts were subjected to some very badly managed environmental factors. I have been busy building our new grow space and was not checking the plants at the back of the space. The 2 sherberts were there at the back and the RH went on a roller coaster over 4 days with temps swinging massively also due to an unmanaged dehumidifier.. the end result was both sherberts stressed out and grew some pollen sacs and I did not see so the burst and pollinated my entire flower room. Gutted. But I will push through the last few weeks of flower with all the current grows and see what we get. I had to chop alot of lower bud. Sacs had burst so I just did a very have clear. Have I mentioned I'm gutted. And this is not a reflection of weedseedsexpress genetics. I have looked at the data logs for last 9 days and it's so up and down with rh and temp it's no wonder they stressed. Next round less plants and I have to stop with the clones.. no room. The girls are fully in flower this week which of course is a GREAT sight to see when opening the tent. The smell in the tent is so sweet and fruity it's already making your mouth water!! So this week I feed the girls with a little of the living soil veg so they are still getting a helping hand. They were also given the living soil bloom and some barley which I will admit is the first time using it but so far me plus the girls are very much enjoying!! I have done the necessary light de-foliating on all 4 girls over the past 2 weeks and more LST. Happy toking guys and girls!! 🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. This part of the process — the cure — is where the soul of the flower truly comes to life. ☀️ UV, Reds & The Perfect Run Part of what made this run so special was the precision in light spectrum. 40% whites, full reds, UV and IR, and the girls responded like royalty. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. All of it under ThinkGrow Model Ones powered through the Trolmaster ecosystem — everything syncing in harmony. This run was stable, lush, expressive — a grower’s dream. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. The Autopots system, combined with the Aptus Holland Clean Program and Plagron Green Sensation, made sure they had the perfect environment to expand, absorb, and thrive. The PRO-MIX soil was the perfect foundation — light, fluffy, with excellent aeration. It all worked in harmony. After unpotting, I carefully washed every root system, removing all soil to prepare them for the next chapter of their story. Well Everyone!! Here we are! 😁 Nearly at the end of the Eternity Grow Cup journey! 🙌🔥👽🙌🔥 Just want to first say a massive Thankyou to Zamnesia & Plagron for letting me compete in this contest. I have been hooked for weeks on this! and its thanks to all you guys! haha Much love!! 💚💚 I Appreciate it soo much. 💚💚💚 I have Harvested 2 of the Runtz which were darked out for 3 days in a 3x3. We have 3 more in flower for another week or 2 as they are little behind schedule! There are 2 plants which I will be flushing next week as they have really packed out now. We got 1 straggler but looks like she's fattening up good! and will follow suit very soon! 😎 🌳Plant 1 Harvested and Drying now The size of this momma Runtz is mad! After loosing one of the main stems in early flower, she powered through and made 2 massive fat colas! Hardly ran into any problems with this plant other than loosing a main stem which turned out to be glorious in the end! 💥 She is now drying in the 3x3. I'm aiming for 10 days drying. Smell is absolutely unreal! I would normally do longer but as I have took most of the main fan leaves off I think it will be a bit quicker this harvest. 🌳Plant 2 Harvested and Drying now - Another whopper! super sticky colas all over it! I decided to leave a few more fan leaves on this one for now but may take more this week aiming for 10 days again! couldn't' be happier with the results, Hardly ran into any nutrient problems throughout. We had a few pale leaves early flower due to overwatering but she soon recovered and powered through! Smells like victory! Could not be happier with the Results so far! 2 down 3 to go! cant wait to get a weigh on them fat colas! I will take some more snaps over the next few weeks and show the dried and final trimmed bud of the 2 harvested and hopefully get them uploaded before the contest time expires. First time using the Green Sensation from Plagron! I will 100% be investing in some more or maybe win some lmao! I can see a dramatic difference in Weight and health of the Autos grown! Foliar sprayed them with DIY uber hi-q by mixing fat soluble vitamin c with ro to protect terps from oxidation...supposedly. Trying to purp them with cold mornings and 10/14. Kush mints is frosty white, juicy c and bubba d similar because both share triangle kush, both smell so good. The jasmonate foliar is no joke i think it works and just like other anecdotes seems to increase limonene scents and bubba diagonal tastes light lemon n kushy sweet mmmmmm. Very potent even for me. Made me diagonal.

small side project: Rebegging some branches to preserve this pheno for the future. Hopefully they will root soon.

I got the 3 starting seeds from an exchange with a redditor who accidentally pollinated his batch with a male, meaning I didn't start with the best genetic which in the end, probably induced the hermie. It turned out good overall but it did fuck up a lot of things. I never thought 4 weeks of veg would be too much. They got tall in no time and almost tripled in height during the flowering stretch. Light burn had a significant impact on the trichome production of certain buds. The mold is on me. I should have controlled the conditions better. I had to throw away 10-15g because of it. And really nothing guarantees I removed it all. Plant B produced, in the books, a lot less than her sisters and that can be explained by 3 factors: -Mold attacked it more than the others; -I probably switched 1 or maybe 5 (who knows...) whole branches when they fell from the rope during the drying; -I left a lot of tiny popcorn buds that got separated in the ''to be extracted'' jar. The 3 plants were pretty similar in looks but gave rather different seeds. A, the hermie, gave a lot of seeds in general but almost half of them were immature or wonky and got discarded; B, a female, gave a lot of good ones but also quite a few bad ones. The have nice stripes giving them a tiger look; C, another female, still hasn't been plucked of all it's seeds but the ones I already collected are really big, round and mat. Plant A pollinated itself. Plant B got helped by me but C didn't received help from me nor the wind and still got hit, a lot less, but still. I'll never underestimate the propagation power of pollen again. FINAL HARVEST: PLANT A: - 91g - 281 viable seeds PLANT B: - 28g - 297 viable seeds PLANT C: - 89g - 149 viable seeds 167 mixed seeds from ABC EXTRACT MATERIAL: - 9g TOTAL: 217g / 894 seeds Height by weeks: 1 - 7 cm 2 - 20 cm 3 - 32 cm 4 - 49 cm Switch 5 - 81 cm 6 - 107 cm 7 - 120 cm 8 - 124 cm 9 - 125 cm 10 - 126 cm 11 - 126 cm 12 - 128 cm 13 - 128 cm Nice experience overall. A lot of thing could have gone better but the fact is I got a bunch of seeds for future pheno hunting and God knows I'll need to do some to straighten the genetic. See you all then!
