Switched them to flower on 7/5/18! On 7/14 I switched the nutes to the "transition to bloom" blend which basically means it's winging them off of vegetation nutrients. Next week (week 3 of flower), I will then switch to the full on bloom blend! Other than that, just keeping them trimmed and trained as they begin to flower!

Welcome to week 23 of my grow diary. Unfortunately, this is also the last week. During my daily check for mould, I noticed that one of the headbuds looked suspicious. The spot was right in the tip of one of the headbuds. In the video you can see that I have generously removed the tip. This was also the reason for the harvest. I actually wanted to leave the plant for a few more days but the mould made me decide to harvest it earlier. During the harvest, I discovered mould in the early stages in 2 other places. The flowers were trimmed wet and checked thoroughly. I hope you enjoyed my grow diary. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. All in all, I really liked this strain. Apart from the last case of mould, I had no problems with the plant. It survived the mainlining well. During this experiment I was able to gain a lot of experience for future grows. If I could travel back in time again, I would decide to leave fewer side shoots in the vegetative phase as it is already quite overgrown. Thank you for following me so far. 5/7 Week 3! This is our first CBD Crack grown in coco and she is showing wonderful color, form, and size for only 14 days up. Very happy with this so far even if the delay does present some issues. She just so pretty! 5/9 She is just exploding, a full inch of height and girth in one day. No hairs yet, increasing nuets tomorrow 20%. 5/10 Nuets increased Raised her base up to get better light, think she has fully acclimated by now. 5/11 She has grown another node and another inch in one day! The reward for what we did yesterday, she wanted more light and nuets. Will leave things as they are for now. 5/12 Just call her "Inch a Day" a that is her growth rate. Training her today, Pony Tailing LST First hairs visible so folding in a light dose of Bloom 5/13 10 inches wow First cycle of pony tailing was productive though she still tacked on over an inch in 24 hrs. Secondary growth tips grew a lot during the process and expect tonight to be even more productive. Node spacing is about one inch so perfect now

This is when it becomes clear that even though the first weeks were slow, they are trying to catch up, they are bigger every day. Now is the time for explosive growth.

AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.

End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

So I found out yesterday that this lady is high CBD. I thought it was a regular indica thc so I'm disappointed to say the least. I'm not a fan of cbd and dont feel it does any of the things some people claim as I've tried it for many ailments and high thc is the only thing that's ever helped me. Due to this, I decided to start her on the flowering schedule early. I'm not too sure on the percentage and weather or not it has any thc, so I'll have to see. Either way I'm very happy with her progress and how well shes doing. I've learned so much from this grow so I know my next one will be awesome.
