Journal de culture - Semaine 3 de croissance La plante a bien repris sa vigueur cette semaine, développant une belle masse racinaire, ce qui est très encourageant. Elle continue de se développer et je m’efforce de la maintenir la plus basse possible en utilisant des techniques de Low Stress Training. J’ai essayé le pinching, qui consiste à pincer légèrement les extrémités des branches pour les courber. Cela permet de rediriger les hormones de croissance vers les parties inférieures, ce qui maximise le développement des pousses. J’ai également effectué une légère défoliation en enlevant quelques grandes feuilles superflues. Pour le reste, je surveille principalement le pH. J’essaie de le maintenir autour de 5.8, mais avec les tampons présents dans les produits Terra Aquatica, il remonte régulièrement à 6.2. Je me demande si ce pH légèrement élevé pourrait être à l’origine d’un problème de coloration des feuilles, car la plante semble présenter une légère carence malgré la présence de tous les nutriments nécessaires. Je fais attention à ne pas ajouter trop d’acide afin de ne pas surcharger la solution nutritive. Globalement, la plante est en bonne santé et continue de bien évoluer. Je pense passer en floraison d’ici une ou deux semaines maximum. Étant donné qu’il s’agit d’une variété Jack Herer, qui a tendance à beaucoup s’étirer en floraison, je préfère la maintenir encore un peu en croissance pour travailler tranquillement avec les techniques de Low Stress Training et la défoliation. It keeps growing, and I’m trying to keep it as low as possible using Low Stress Training techniques. I’ve been trying pinching, which involves lightly pinching the tips of the branches to bend them. This redirects the growth hormones to the lower parts, maximizing the development of new shoots. I’ve also done a bit of light defoliation by removing some large, unnecessary leaves. Other than that, I’m mainly monitoring the pH. I’m trying to keep it as close to 5.8 as possible, but the buffers in the Terra Aquatica products keep raising it to 6.2. I’m wondering if this slightly higher pH might be causing some discoloration on the leaves—it feels like a deficiency, even though all the necessary nutrients are present. I’m cautious about adding too much acid to avoid overloading the nutrient solution. Overall, the plant is healthy and continues to grow well. I’m thinking about switching to flowering in a week or two at most. Since this is a Jack Herer strain, which tends to stretch a lot during flowering, I want to keep it in veg a bit longer while working with Low Stress Training and defoliation. Oct 5: Bruce is doing great. I was getting worried she wouldn’t finish in time but she’s picked up the pace and the weather is still good. Sort of. Hitting zero tonight and high of +3 C tomorrow. After that it’s sunny for two weeks with highs near 20 C. She’s turned purple the last few days and is putting on weight. 👍👍 She also broke a limb when blown over (again). Removing big fan leaves that are shading bud sites. Oct 6: she’s beautiful. Removed some large fan leaves that were shading bud. Feels weirdly warm tonight. Still using the 730 nm far red light for a few seconds at dusk as a bloom booster. Now down to just over 11 h of daylight. Oct 10: looking good this morning. Oct 11: been removing fan leaves to get as much light on the buds as possible. Sunlight is weak and low to the horizon but this month continues being unseasonably warm. We’re usually getting quite hard frosts by now but the forecast is warm for another two weeks. Some nice purple showing from the lowish overnight temps though. I just checked, and yes, it has been “extremely hot” again for the last 30 days.

Tamara starts her second week of flowering with a solid stretch, which I had to keep tucking into the scrog net so she could get more light exposure. It’s truly amazing how much she can grow in just 24 hours. Looking closer, we can already see the first trichomes forming, and I have to say it again: I absolutely love

8/6/21: Harvest Day!! We'll update the week to "harvest" once everything is dried..My camera scope broke somehow so we're back to using cheap jewelers loupes for now but trichs look completely milky, a few amber spots closer the bud's base, we didn't flush as long as we wanted but I felt it was good to get her chopped down before the heatwave and space is becoming a real issue again... we dry in cardboard boxes, in a room controlled to 65F...we don't usually get bud weights, as its all for personal use but ill try my hardest to get an accurate dry weight before my husband smokes it all lol...Thank you for reading and happy growing everyone! 😽❤️💡🌱

She’s got a lovely gassy sweet smell.

I've discovered this week my timer that was powering the 600w LED had developed a fault and was turning on roughly an hour early, I thought the glueberry were taking a little while to kick in to full flower now I understand why. Has probably put the grown behind by about 10 days which is a bit annoying but these things happen. I've taken the 600w led out and replaced it with 2 x 300w leds either side of the hps to spread light more evenly.

She's doing well! Not long left. Maybe a week or so. Trichomes are still all clear, pistils are 80% brown.

Seedlings stretched a bit had to put them under the light early. Popped 2 seeds initially with 2 freebies I got, unfortunately the freebies didn't germinate in a week so I tossed them and popped two more Dolatos and all four germinated with 100% success rate. Kept them on a 20/4 schedule watering them only once and sprayed the top soil with a mister every now and again. 👍🏿

In my opinion it's last week for Girl Scout Cookies Auto and for Power Plant Auto tilll harvest, how do you think?? Vanilla Latte Auto is on it's 3rd week of flowering period and is very strong and beautifull plant

First time growing Blueberry Auto, found it to fast growing with little margin for error.

Feb 1st Plants are stretching out with about 2” growth last week. The root structure is awesome. I will be transplanting to individual pots soon. I am going to try out an autopot system which is still considered hydroponic although I will be using coco/per light medium Started them on 75% strength nutes Feb 3rd Moved the plants over to my new autopot system Feb 4th Plants moved to the new medium coco/perlite with very little shock. With in 18 hrs all 3 were perky again

I wasn’t expecting these to stretch as much as they did, but they seem to come to a halt and are now focusing on bud sites. The Diamond OG has larger tops with smaller popcorn sized coming up the stem and started to frost later than the Cherry Gum. The Cherry Gum has smaller tops with more buds up the whole stalk and started frosting up right after the switch to flower.

03/02/2021 Going to take some cuttings today so, I will post up pictures after doing so. Topping?? Topped!. It should be interesting to see how her auxins direct growth. They always look sad when topped, but she is a fast grower, I thinking if she responds well I'll flip into flowering next week, cause I got two rooted clones and 4 more started. Ps. And she is sexually mature after all Ps I believe this is the lemony kush pheno. Day #4 and I supper cropped her top to get side branching stronger for flowering next week.
