Esta semana ha explotado 💣, los cogollos comienzan a tomar densidad y llenarse de resina, me hubiera gustado aplicar algo mas de nutrientes en la fase vegetativa, la próxima vez será.

It's been a busy week.
The Red Dragon is growing really well, and they seem to be shooting up really quick. There's no stretch on them so I know they're getting enough light.
So far the Red Dragon is definitely one of my favorite strains but I've got a lot more to get through yet lol.
I have got some acoustic ducting.
WARNING...
Acoustic ducting has Fibre glass in it and is a MAJOR IRRITATENT to both skin and eyes and should be done in a well ventilated area with suitable protection.
So, I have also switched from pure batmix to a 50/50 split with a good compost.
I have done this as I'm not 100% happy with the level of water retention in the batmix, I'm finding it to be too much and I do not want to run into any issues.
I would rather the soil drys out then I know exactly when to water.
I have also increased the HPS to 400w (from 250w) it is very difficult to give plants too much light.
I am spraying the tent whenever I can, with warm(ish) water to increase the humidity for a short while.
I will be looking into fiming and LST probably next week to make sure they have a good base.
I have also had to transplant the plants into another pot as the roots are growing like crazy at the moment.
I also purchased a dimmer plug for the fan, as I don't need it to be on full all the time (it's a 6 inch fan with duel speed but thats far too much for what is needed now.
Other than that all is good

Finally the time has come .
The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍.
Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed.
The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) .
In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍.
In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand.
then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity.
After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) .
Of course there is one last update after trimming.

Hi Growers.
These little plants have been cruising along just fine. The whole week they have just been sprayed with ph RO water with a touch of cal pow. Yesterday I noticed they were a bit lighter in color and using peat based medium with zero nutrients I decided to feed according to the FastBuds suggested 1/8 strength. It still ended up being around 225 ppm. I also raised the light 3” as I noticed the serrated leaf edge starting to point straight up. That SF4000 is a beast against tiny plants even at 30%.
I’ve got the environment at approx 77 & 60% with a oscillating fan and humidifier running.
All in all they’re looking happy and are doing what they should be. 🤞👍🏻🌱

The grandaddy black is looking happy. Will be switching them to flower in a week or less. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. The humic acid really makes a huge difference in the uptake of nutrients. I am at about half dose on nutrients compared to what I would have to feed without it.
Winter is approaching and bringing the low humidity with it. All of the humidifiers I have tried either dont work or I have to constantly refill the tank. So I decided to use my redneck engineering skills to throw this humidifier together. It holds 4 gallons of water and she pumps like a freight train. I have dubbed her the Steam Queen. I got 2 cool mist foggers that put out about 400ml per hour each and used some things I had around to make them a little float. Added an old computer fan to force the mist out through a 2 inch pipe. She won't win any beauty contests but she pumps out plenty of cool moist air. I also upgraded my exhaust to a variable speed for more added environmental control. Just going to do a little more training over the next week then try to make some buds.

This worked out very nicely 👌 I just found Ecothrives' new, Trace! I was looking for Cal-Mag with no NPK. I came across this, I'm genuinely so excited to get using this! Ecothrive has the best products, hands down.
As fate would have it, the plants are looking pretty dry!
I'm going to be watering with the Trace and Biosys. Let's see what happens 😁
6 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 contained:
♡ 3ml of Ecothrive Trace
♡ 1/4 Tsp (2.4ml) Ecothrive Biosys
PPM 475
PH 6.0
1.5.25:
I mixed a foliar feed with my new Ecothrive Trace.
I filled a 250ml spray bottle with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with 4ml Ecothrive Trace.
I used the entire bottle in 3 plants throughout the course of the day.
The fan is very strong, so it didn't take long to dry. However, I did keep the lights dimmer to ensure no leaves were burnt. Additionally, I spent more time than I care to admit massaging the foliar spray into the leaves 😅
I also moved the LED lights up as Northern Lights is still stretching. Par was about 600-700. Which may be too much. I'll keep an eye on it.
Let's see how we're looking in a few days after the first Ecothrive Trace application!
4.5.25:
Hulkberry had totally dried out, I needed to top dress, so I added 2 Tbs of Ecothrive Life Cycle and 1 Tbs of Ecothrive Charge.
I mixed it into the top loose soil, as I didn't want to get all the worm castings, coco, perlite, etc, out from storage.
I watered with 6 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5. I added:
♡ 1/4 Tsp Ecothrive Biosys
♡ 1/2 Tsp Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf nutrients.
PPM: 840.
The plant is in week one of flower, so nutrient needs will be changing.
As I was late top dressing her, I decided to add some readily accessible nutrients to tide her over until the dry amendments have broken down enough.
I moved the plant round yesterday, as one side was stretching.
I removed the two bottom stems, as they weren't making it up to the canopy.
Overall, she's doing great, and no issues so far 🤞

The Buds are getting Frosty and heavy.
The Fruity smell turned into Dank-Cali Flower with way deeper notes to it.

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍
This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i
finish building it all....
i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup.....
trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower.....
changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method....
and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops...
got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter ....
i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days...
Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :)
post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc......
and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37....
slowly getting there..... little bit more to go...
this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM
left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM
more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower.....
edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps...
much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro...
then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs,

Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights...
the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor,
was in selfie mode....

This week I let the plants rest a bit from last week's lst and topping. They have responded very well I am going to train them a little more until the whole tent is full. This week I am going to lower the lamp a bit and give some more nutrition to the plants within a week or two I will switch them to flowering period.

9/22 - Since all the ladies are now in flower it was time to adjust the temp and humidity in the 4x5 auto tent. I like to keep it at about 80°F & 50% humidity during lights on. With 70°F & 45% humidity during lights off (approximately). To accomplish this, I added a programmable dehumidifier and oscillating tower heater.
9/25 - Top dressed all with Roots Organics Seabird Guano, and Elemental. I also did a 24 hour brew on some compost tea. Fed that to them as well. They are really fattening up now and are covered in frosty trichomes. So far, one of them has a very deep purple while the other three remain a beautiful lavender color. Her smell is very potent. She smells like a grape SweetTart (remember those?).
