Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Durban Nights, she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and has her first true set of leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. Super excited for this strain as it is a cross of Durban Thai and Jack Herer which are two of my favorite Sative Strains. I hope everyone has a safe weekend. Time lapse 23rd June > Aug 21st 2020. Plenty of screwups - over/under watering+ feeding + pollenated the tent with one hermie, two plants throwing nannas (due to UV) out in the last two weeks and the major heatwave all did not help, This was totally my screw up and for that I still give this strain a solid 8/10. The tastes are nice although my first try of Runtz was in Cali and it is certainly another level over there. Unfortunately I did not get a pheno similar to that I smoked in the US but out of the 5 I did get I really enjoyed one of them which is hard hitting! Apologies for the time-lapse as its not always spot on and often other things took over. Stuff never goes the way you plan it in your head. Upon drying the temps were good and they dried okay. The reason why this is a write off is because one of the plants hermied and caused most of the plants to be pollenated. When I harvested I noticed a few nannas poking out so I'm not sure if I let them run too long, too much stress, underwatering, light intensity, the UV bar or heat stress. Anyways I didn't catch it and I have some well developed seeds. I think it's down to the UV bar causing the nannas but the seeds were ripe (tiger stipe brown) so didn't have enough time to grow and ripen. Seeing as I had deficiencies early on in flower - WK4 - I think it happened then. The PP and runtz all have seeds bar one plant (the nice gassy pheno) and the tent was cleaned with bleach, vacuumed and temps increased to over 100f with a heater after disinfecting. Nevertheless I will grow this again! it's all a learning curve! More bud shots to come when cured. Just over an 1oz per plant is pretty poor imo but again you live and learn from your screw up! Got to be on point with my watering next time! That's why I love hydro!

Currently running 2 x P450 Platinum LEDs. Most likely overkill but will be putting a 3rd in next week to get full coverage. Lights currently on half power until flip. Autopots are a dream.

So, the big day finally came!💚 I harvested the plant and got her cut and hung up to dry. But before that, she spent a solid 72 hours in complete darkness to finish off. (A little boost before the chop)🌿 Everything went as planned and is looking pretty good so far. Nothing out of the ordinary, just smooth sailing through the final stage. Now it’s all about patience while it dries properly. Can’t wait to check out the final results in a couple of weeks! 🌱

Hello everyone and welcome to week 9 and day 57 for these two Fast Buds Strawberry Bananana Autos. These two have gone mad! Beyonce is 81cm tall and well into flower as you can see. Solange on the other hand was 118cm tall and had passed the light so I super cropped her two tallest colas a few days ago. She is now 98cm Fertigated 10l 4 days ago and 7.5l today. Day 60: Fertigated 10l Day 62: The plants are now too big and/or heavy with bud to move out of the tent to photograph, and so with thanks to @growbigorgohome who suggested it, I have got a selfie stick to do in-tent photography. It's not great but it's better than nothing! Hopefully the videos will show plenty of details. Anyway I am starting to routine again now, the plants haven't gone more than 3 days without feeding, and I should be back to every other day again now. These two girls are really amazing. Beyonce is way ahead in terms of bud development, but Solange vegged longer and stretched more she was so massive I had to super-crop two colas! Anyway they are really motoring along now, I think Beyonce will be ready 2 weeks before Solange. Despite it is only day 62 we are rapidly approaching the end game here.

September 3rd She keeps on going drinking by far most of all the plants. I try to keep her in good ventilation, pump it up!!! 5th sept...socks blown off

Was really worried the whole time through out my grow as I am a Newbie and this was my first grow. Thanks for all the help provided by users on growndiaries. Much appreciated. Had great result from my solo cup. 12.6 grams of dried bud. Time for curing and let that smell build up. Fingers crossed will taste better but smells amazing. Zesty smell when crushed. More confident for my next grow. Hopefully will be more fun and relaxing growing.

Week 4 of flower 8/30/24 Defoliated a little for all the tops to get maximum light exposure. Some strange marking started to appear on some of the leaves. The problem was a very high salts buildup in the coco because I watered with almost no drainage for a couple of days. EC 3, in the drainage. PH was a little high but still at normal range. Watered with a diluted nutrient solution with H2O2 (2.5ml a gallon). Waited a couple of hours and watered with nutrients again same day without the H2O2 (usually I water once daily at the start of the 12 light cycle). EC got lower to 1.6 and on the following days it got lower even more to 1.3. The plant seems happy and there is damage only on some parts of the leaves/branches. (seems like the salt buildup was only in some areas of the roots because only specific ares of the plant got damaged.) I like to see the daily progress in mass and trichome production :) Noticed the plant mass increasing daily. The smell intensified a bit I grabbed the leaves I defoliated, rubbed the trichomes to release the oils and the smell was just incredible, It is not fully developed yet so I cannot put my finger on the most dominant terpenes, but I can surely tell the smell of tropical fruits mixed with sweet candy notes are something mega pleasant. Watering with nutrients daily (mama likes to drink a lot).

All looks good with this freak, starting to get big. Has more than doubled in size in 10 days, think I might have upped the feed a bit soon and got a bit of nute burn so back down a bit and seems to be fine. Gonna have to thin her out a bit as she is hella bushy. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Week 8 Update: Transition to Flowering 🌸✨ 🌟 The Flowering Stage Begins 🌟 Welcome to Week 8! Big changes are happening in the grow room. This week marks the official switch from the vegetative stage to the flowering stage. With the light schedule now adjusted to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness, the plants are entering the crucial phase where all the hard work of vegetative growth will start to pay off in the form of buds. 🌼 Flowering Transition 🌼 Light Schedule: The light schedule has been reduced to 12 hours on and 12 hours off, which signals the plants to begin flowering. I'm aiming to maintain a Daily Light Integral (DLI) of around 40 to optimize bud development. Greenhouse Super Lemon Haze 🌞 Responding quickly to the light change, with the first signs of pre-flower pistils emerging. The even canopy from LST will help the plant distribute energy effectively to multiple bud sites. Humboldt Seed Bubba Kush 🌿 This compact, bushy plant is beginning to show signs of entering the flowering stage. Its strong structure is set to support what should be a dense, resinous bud formation. Blueberry Muffin 🥞 Continuing to exhibit robust growth, with the first signs of transition into flowering. The dense frame developed during veg should result in a productive flowering stage. 🌱 Continuing Care 🌱 As the plants transition, I'll be adjusting their care to support this new phase: Nutrient Adjustment: Shifting to a flowering-focused nutrient schedule with increased phosphorus and potassium to support bud formation, while gradually reducing nitrogen. Environmental Control: Monitoring and adjusting temperature and humidity to ideal levels for flowering, ensuring the environment promotes healthy bud development. Training & Defoliation: Continuing LST and selective defoliation to maintain an even canopy and improve light penetration to lower bud sites. 🌸 Looking Forward 🌸 The plants are now in the flowering stage, and this is where the real magic happens.
