Days 78-84 - Been lax in updates, but I still log every week to completion. Back injury in addition to The Nineteen, Rona Style, has been a bit of a pain in the posterior. (That means ass) Plants are gigantic and sassy. Had Dangergirl come out and defoliate/lollipop the bottoms out of the girls, saving me painful labor and increasing my yields, so yay for her! Plants are happy, pompoms are getting thick, and everything looks good. Switched FF01 to flower on day 84.

I've been away for a week, leaving my tent in the care of a friend. Coming back I was surprised to see how much bud growth has occurred, as you can see colas are really starting to stack up, and trichromes are already appearing. AK48 seems to have some purple coloration creeping in on her buds which is really beautiful, just hard to capture as my led throws a purple hue on my photos in the first place. Today I spent two hours trimming leaves from the tent and have kept the airflow at a healthy level. Happy at how everything is looking, and at only three weeks into flowering she seems really promising. Stay tuned!

Hey, everyone. Sorry for the late update, but I didn't get my regular time to update my journals this week, so updates are coming sporadically. Anyways, as far as this lady is concerned, she couldn't be happier. She is just starting to really put off some buds and start her stretch. I'm not sure how long she will stretch for, but I've got my eye on the lights, to keep them in optimal range. Also, in preparation for the stretch, I went ahead and bumped her up to 75% strength nutes (with 100% secondary additives, like Pro-TeKt and Dyna-Zyme) which puts her right around 900ppm and 5.9pH. This Amnesia XXL Auto has a heavy haze lineage and I can already smell it in her. I'm excited to see what this lady will yield since she is really starting to stack up during the start of the stretch. 11/22 - Uploaded new canopy shots (48 hours after bumping ppms). Weekly update for these lovely ladies. They've grown and grown since the last update so much I had to raise the greenhouse. Cinder blocks under the frame gave me an extra 16in. They're growing probably a foot of week and still reaching for the stars. I did switch to Athena's Bloom A & B and P&K booster this week giving 5-10ml per gallon. I really couldn't be happier with how they've grown up to this point. All in all Happy Growing

Week 13 took my second plant. 30 gram top wet. Will take 3rd plant in a day or 2. 4th plant still week behind but looks more like 2. Plants only drinking ph water @ 1 gallon every 3-4 days.

23/10/2024 Lights On! I opened the tent this evening but it's her morning 🌄 however you like to picture it! Strong smell of gas that' smells bitter like lemons, when it hits the back ya sinuses. No bug or disease problems. I even took her off veg nutes way too soon and she recovered like a fucking champ. I’m popping two more this week. Unfortunately i didn’t weigh it because Of some very unfortunate circumstances that I was dealing with at the time. I essentially had to vacate my premise within 24 hours. A few days after harvest. Anyways. I ended up smoking the whole thing with my friends and it was straight fire. The terps were crazy also. Super sweet. After curing she had a very sweet smell like bubblegum / grape. This was only my second harvest ever.

UPDATE ON MY RUN SO FAR, She has been growing tremendously i did run into some problem/deficiency i could not indicate what exactly it was but if i had to guess id say it was calmag issue but since ive upped my calmag i think the problem has came to a end and i have tackled it as i do not see it getting any worse ect ect, up to know this run has been a flight in the clouds using the ac infinity set up controlled everything from my phone so i could dial in that VPD the only thing i would say is abit of a problem is humidity the rh in my house has raised due to weather outside i guess, i did buy a dehumidifier and it brought the humidity down from 73% to 60% in the night it fights quite hard as temps drop but its not to high max 70% but as im preparing for flower i do need to be bringing it down allot id be comfortable at the mind if it could drop and be withing 50-60 mostly 55 but hopefully as the weather gets better it should drop the rh in my house just in time for flower hopefully! today i did some defoliation for better airflow as she was quite bushy and leaves were settling on other leaves and i couldn't tuck/hide also it was so awkward when watering especially with the clips/ties for (LST) hence why i made my decision to defol.... the videos are a (before and after defoliation) she has been no more than 500ppfd light all the way up to week 4, tomorrow i am going to up the light slightly to around 550ppfd as i am planning on flipping to flower in 2weeks if im happy with her growth and i wanna make sure i start bumping up that light intensity for flower ;) Come Week 5 i will be here to post another update on her growth

06/07/2024 : almost done, waiting a few days more to harvest the other half. With direct lighting, lower buds are getting purple too. I vaped a 5 days dried sample : of course it didn't taste good yet but there was a noticeable fruity touch and a powerfull earthy one. I experienced long lasting light stone effect, quite surprising for me! I'll recheck after 2 weeks curing. 06/10/2024 : no camera today so sorry for poor quality pics. I trimmed dried buds and got 43g with a decent amount of kief (from trim then shaked) that turned in 3.2g hash. All this just with top buds...😀 Then I checked BB and saw that every upper buds turned purple so I decided to harvest a second time and let all the green material on the plant for another time. I removed all fan leaves and biggest sugar ones, debudded and got 176g wet buds (part 2) that went to drier.

The strain was easy to grow. The autos were topped and suppercropped. Along with lst. Amazing yeild for my first grow. Almost a pound with 300w led. Trichomes were hard to read and took forever to turn. Went for 17 weeks from sprout. Didnt flush as long as a wanted so curing is my focus rn.

I just cut her down like 3 weeks ago. Gd was having update issues. It had pretty purple flowers. They had a nice layer of resin on them. I will update more when I do the smoke report, and have it processed and ready. When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

Third week of flowering and everything's fine. Humidity at 65% Lights at 80% at 35 cm. Increased the amount of nutrients since she's still growing. 2 litres every 2-3 days.
